Sussex Painted Shaker Cupboard

Great product fits beautifully into a small corner and gives masses of extra storage. As with other reviews it did smell a bit 'painty' when unpacked but this does seem to have cleared. Fab delivery service, on time and quick and given current delivery issues this was very impressive. Arrives extremely substantially packed, oh boy unpacking was fun...took about an hour and there is ALOT of packing material to dispose of! Hey first world problem but given the cupboard was delivered within a week of ordering I can certainly live with the business end of furniture receipt. The cupboard itself feels pretty substantial, the door opening feels a touch more flimsy. My only real criticism would be for the cuoboard to have adjustable feet...its really easy to slot into place as the feet pads are silicon so quite 'slippy' aka easy to slide around but transpires my floor isn't even so the fix was to put a plastic 'dot' under the offending foot to stop the cupboard wobbling. The cupboard now doesnt stand completely square but doesn't wobble! Legacy of an oler house.In conclusion looks great,

This is the best kitchen, or general purpose, cupboard you'll ever buy. It looks great and to my absolute surprise, it matches the shaker kitchen units already in the kitchen! It packs a punch, lots and lots of storage, all my filled bottles and jars and containers are all neatly stored in this one cupboard. Excellent quality for the price. The height and width fit perfectly into a corner so that on entering the kitchen your eyes are immediately drawn to this lovely beauty. And its a breeze to wipe clean. Love it, love it, love it, I'm still smiling after 3 weeks. Well done Cotswold, your're a star, and delivered on time by two very friendly and helpful men.

Bought this for my conservatory, as I needed extra storage space. Cannot believe how much it holds! Printer and miscellaneous picture frames on the bottom. Wedding album and keepsakes, canteen of cutlery, two laptops, and biscuit tin full of printer inks, on the first shelf. Next shelf full of lever arch files and accounts books. Top shelf miscellaneous stuff, CD's, printer paper, labels, the list goes on! Looks great in the conservatory, and everything is hidden inside. Wonderful purchase and looks really great. Bought this,together with the four drawer shoe bench, another great buy!

The Sussex shaker cupboard arrived last week and I am delighted with it. It looks good, it is well made and has lots of room inside which means our kitchen units are no longer overflowing. When I open this cupboard it's very easy to find what I want and it firs snugly into the corner of the room. The only criticism I have is that you couldn't choose from two or three different colours because the cream doesn't go with our mostly grey colour scheme. We have to paint it ourselves but the finish won't be as good.

I was looking forward to receiving my Sussex Painted Shaker Cupboard but what turned up was a pine coloured Oakland Shaker Cupboard! I decided to keep it as it's used in a utility area for storage and looked okay there, but attention really needs to be paid to what's being sent out, especially as, had I decided to 'swap' it, the drivers would have had a very long (some may say, pointless) round trip well in excess of 300 miles). That said, it is a very spacious cupboard.

Lovely cupboard. Looks good and just what I wanted. Lots of room in it for storage and excellent quality. Delivery people kept me informed on arrival time and were cheerful, efficient and helpful. I dont know if Cotswold have changed their delivery company since my previous purchase, but the delivery people were much more pleasant and helpful than when I purchased my first (excellent quality) item. Highly recommend whole process now.

Really beautiful product and matches our kitchen perfectly. The quality is good. The cupboard has plenty of room and the shelf width options are great. Would have liked more than 2 spare shelf rests. Surprised there was no Easter discount on the product as with other furniture items. Received a 10% discount once order was paid for. This was disappointing as if I was going to buy more I would have bought them all at the same time.

Lovely cupboard! Just what I wanted to clear stuff away in the conservatory! The original delivery didn't have the shelf supports included but the helpline were fantastic and I received some in the post just 2 days later! Also, very impressed with the delivery men who undid the packaging and took it away for me. They were also really good on letting me know updates for the delivery timing.Overall, very pleased indeed!

We are very happy with our new cupboard. We have recently had some changes made to our kitchen which allowed us space for a new storage unit. The dimensions of this unit fitted our space perfectly and has become a welcome addition to our kitchen.I particularly liked the guidance about fixing to the wall so it cannot topple over - I did this as part if the install and it stands very rigid - thanks.Regards, Brian Curts

I had opted for free delivery in s couple of weeks but was then offered free delivery for that week. It was a smooth process. I was given a slot then driver confirmed he would be there in 30 mins. All very well wrapped to protect. Really pleased with the product which I am using as a larder. Would use the site again.

The cupboard is attractive and well made. However, another couple of shelves would be very useful. I have also not been able to close the door as yet because the smell of paint is too strong when you open it. This is gradually fading four weeks on but is not yet at an acceptable level. It was delivered upside down.

This was just what I had been looking for to add extra storage in the bathroom. Ordering was easy and it arrived on time. I am extremely pleased with it. Its a good quality piece of furniture and is now stocked with towels and bathroom accessories. I would definitely get something else from this range.Excellent.

It is a pity you do not read your emails (and may I add a letter sent to the Director). Your product when delivered was badly damaged, and was not accepted. We have heard nothing regarding this, and I would certainly not recommend your Company to anyone. You must be joking if you want our star rating!!!

Cupboard arrived on time, delivery men very polite and helpful. Cupboard looks nice and is a good match with my kitchen units but not as solid as I imagined it would be for the price and there is still a very strong smell of paint in kitchen 10 days after removing packaging. Hoping smell subsides soon.

Really good cupboard,moved from a house with lots of kitchen storage to one with a lot less! This is a good solid well made product, the door sticks a little at the bottom but not a problem, this is my second purchase from this company and I am very pleased with it,shall be buying more in the future.

This is the second Shaker cupboard that I have purchased. It is well made and stylish and looks just right in my kitchen. It can hold a great many objects. I am very pleased with it, as I was with my previous cupboard, which is in a bedroom and used to store towels and bedding.

This cupboard has done exactly what I needed it to do in creating extra storage on a kitchen that I can not match the door fronts. It is sturdy, well finished and the adjustable feet have levelled the unit on my very old floor.

Mostly satisfactory, and excellent delivery, however the pins in the hinges are slack causing the hinges to rattle. The door shakes on opening owing to differences between the magnetic catches.

Quite expensive but a nice piece. Only problem we have experienced is that sometimes shelf supports fall out, maybe a little loose in the drilled holes. Still happy with it though.
