I tried the TEMPUR Pro Air SmartCool Luxe Medium Firm mattress on the shop floor at a Dreams store, lying on my back and side to check how it felt in both positions. On my back, the medium-firm feel suited me well, with evenly balanced support across my body. Turning onto my side, there was enough give at my hip and shoulder to feel notably comfortable and ease pressure in those areas. The cover felt cool to lie on, and I stayed at a comfortable temperature during my time trying it in store. As someone who switches between back and side positions, I liked how well it adapted to my shape.

The comfort of this mattress is outstanding. From the first night, it provided excellent support while still feeling soft and cushioning. It contours well to the body, relieving pressure on my back and shoulders, which has noticeably improved my sleep quality. I visited Dreams in store to get a feel for the beds and do the sleep test. As a bit of a background I've only had an Eve hybrid mattress for about a year but found I wasn't sleeping right and my sciatica was playing up frequently. The in store experience was very good, James the store manager of the Cardiff branch was very helpful and knowledgeable and didn't push for sales. The beds recommended from the test were just what I needed and I ended up going for one of the more expensive Tempur mattresses - at no point was the sale forced and it was only because of how comfortable the bed was that swayed my decision. I've had the bed about 2 months so I think that qualifies as enough experience to judge it. I'm sleeping better and my back pain has improved massively. If you're on the fence about investing in a new mattress they are worth it. This had been my third or fourth mattress in a decade and I won't need to change it now for a long long time. I just wanted to say thanks again to James for his help and whole experience from in store to delivery to setting up was easy. I'm glad I took the time to visit and not just order one online which I was tempted to do. Thanks again !

I was very skeptical about this as it is extremely expensive and i didn't want to pay that amount for a matress but i also suffer from joint pain so desperately wanted a new matress - i tested a variety of mattresses in store for about 10 minutes each but this was the only one were i couldn't feel my hips tingle laying on my side which kept me tossing and turning all night. I have had it now for 3 weeks and have to say from day 1 I have had full night's sleep for the first time in a year. I got the lux 30 which is the deepest and makes huge difference. I also got finance on it so didn't cost the earth as very expensive, but in my opinion worth it. Staff in store were great.

The quality of this product does not come into question, but the chemical smell has been overpowering, they advise to ventilate the mattress pulling all the sheets back daily, but we are 2wks in and it's still very strong. I also find this mattress much, much firmer than the one you try in the store. Personally, it feels to me like I'm laying on the floor and incredibly uncomfortable. It's difficult as at this stage, they say you have to wear it in, but to me that means many sleepless nights without reassurance or guarantee that it will indeed get better. You almost need a topper to soften it, whilst you wear it in!? I must say for the cost, I am very disappointed so far.

Probably great but too firm for me. Think I should have ordered a medium in the first place then we could have exchanged up or down if needed, so other than lying in the shop overnight I really don't know if a medium or soft would be better. My wife finds the medium firm is OK for her. so when we return it, we will change to two extra long singles to replace the superking we have. I have a bad back and arthritic spine so I need gentle comfort across all parts. We have tried various conventional mattresses with little success, so hoping the Tempur will end up being good. The pillow is great by the way. The build quality of the mattress is good.

My wife and I purchased a Tempur Pro Air Smartcool Luxe Medium Firm Mattress at Dreams, it has been a real please to sleep on. We have had it now for two months and find it to be very comfortable. After the initial instore diagnostics then trying several different mattresses we settled on the medium firm one. Being of body weights we have found this Medium Firm supports both of us very well and we have enjoyed good regular nights sleep patterns. I've always avoided memory foam , we had one years ago and I hated it , but it's clearly moved on and advanced , and it wasn't top of the range Tempur , this is and so far I love it , we had a very good mattress a conventional one , it was over ten year old and it was done , it had become very very uncomfortable , this brand new Tempur is so comfortable we love it , we are big people , we have a super king , the space is amazing and we are both sleeping so much better , well worth digging deep to purchase the best

After only one night, only one night, we found it absolutley fantastic. We thought it would take a while to adjust to the new firmness, but not. The last two weeks have given a fantastic sleep experience and we could never go back to the lumpy mattrass we had. I had a previous Tempur mattress for over 15 years and, although it was still in excellent condition, decided that my older bones wanted something a little softer. Oh woe is me! I bought a TEMPUR mattress and it is perfect. Had the best nights sleep ever using this product, Comfy as anything. Before I could never sleep on my back for more than 5 minutes before my back started hurting badly. First memory foam mattress. We really like it. We look forward to going to bed now. I feel fully supported by it which prevents aches and strains and its so much more comfortable than a sprung mattress. We have the matching pillow and duvet set which is also great. The wife reckons its reduced my snoring. The duvet is thick and heavy. It really speaks to the caveman part of my brain of being all secure and wrapped up in a cave.

Spectacular. did not think a mattress could make such a difference, but with a bad back I was open to try investing to see. I was skeptical at first as to whether the tempur mattress would live up to the hype. However from the first sleep it's been amazing. So comfortable and soft but not too soft. Very comfortable matress. Very different mattress from what I'm used too. Takes some getting use to if honest. But gives comfortable nights sleep and no aches or pains in the morning so support for the spinal alignment is good. Doubting the 'coolness' factor as still having to throw the odd limb out to cool down.

Completely removed my back aches. Had it a good few weeks and its the same now is it was on day 1. Being memory foam, it encapsulates heat well, which is decent for the winter, but we'll have to see how the summer goes. I doubt it'll be an issue.
