I'm 54 years old, and after a long time I finally felt the need for a new mattress, because in the morning, even though I had slept, I didnt feel rested. We chose the medium firm after trying them in store, its very different to our previous Tempur which is 15 years old now. Weve only had it for a few weeks and its getting better but we arent sure yet if its too firm for us. We still have 100 day exchange so we may choose to a softer one but well see.

Although it is very comfortable the rounded corners of the mattress makes the mattress covers constantly ping off, we ended up buying cover suspenders to keep it in place, otherwise you'll end up tangled up in the covers if you toss and turn.

Hi I have an adjustable bed. brought my last Tempur mattress designed for adjustable beds about 8 years ago. I was sleeping less than an hour a night for 18 months and even scared to go to bed due to chronic pain. Being disabled you get VAT relief on items to help with your condition. When I purchased my first Tempur mattress I got VAT taken off when I purchased it. Due to not being able to sleep flat from 4 major spine and spinal cord surgeries all leaving me in more pain and worse off from surgery. We could not afford a new Tempur mattress really the only silver lining was we would get the VAT taken off went to same store, we live in same home. Staff said they dont do it when you purchase in store anymore and it would be down by customer services. I gave them evidence and they sent that off when we brought the new mattress that is specifically designed for adjustable beds. I phoned after delivery to check about how much the payments would be with the VAT removed. But was very unhelpful and said it was a luxury purchase and not due VAT off. I explained that we confirmed before we brought it with the guys in the shop and they said it would be deducted through customer services. The mattress has work wonders and Im now getting 3 hours sleep a night. Which is nearly four fold. The woman I spoke to probably 2 wks ago said a manager whom could deal with this was going to phone me at some point but still havent heard anything. We did everything right to ask and check.

Ive been sleeping on the Tempur Pro Air SmartCool Plus medium-firm 25cm mattress for a while now, and it has genuinely transformed my sleep quality. I've had this mattress a couple of months now, and it's settled in nicely. It was very firm when it arrived, so I was slightly concerned as my partner prefers a softer mattress and so we'd picked medium firm as a compromise (I loved it!). Going from an old mattress (only 8 years old, also a Tempur) and having some sleep issues, I knew it was time for a replacement. It still felt familiar in that the quality and "feel" was there (opposed to spring mattresses or cheap foam ones) but also that they'd made improvements since my last purchase. This mattress is indeed SmartCool and doesn't feel overly sweaty, and after a couple of days it softened slightly as my body got used to the new posture support. I've thoroughly enjoyed sleeping on it. My partner struggled a little longer (about 2 weeks) as his posture took longer to sort, but now they're sleeping well and consistently too. My dogs were initially unsure and spent the first few days refusing to get on the bed (I enjoyed the space!) as it was a bit too "melty" for them, but now they're back up and come for a snuggle before bed and everyone's happy. The purchase journey was awesome with knowledgeable staff, and I'm incredibly happy with it!

I have tried a Tempur pillow before and was not impressed by the weight of it so wasn't sure how I would take to the mattress but after a month I am definitely a convert and am very glad we chose it. It is smart and works very well with our sleep motion adjustable bed - it does really seem to be able to stay cool and regulate the temperature which I am very grateful for as I am of a certain age which seems to have been going on for ever - and yet my husband who needs to be warmer also finds it is warm enough for him. The only down side was that I hadn't worked out that ordering two single mattresses for the kingsize u&i sleepmotion frame - they would be narrow singles and so I bought the wrong size fitted sheets, but that was my mistake. I was advised in store to get good quality cotton sheets to maximise the temperature controlling properties of the mattress and that certainly seems to have worked - as the bed and bedding feels wonderful. I couldn't wait to get home from holiday.. sadly I just need to buy two more fitted sheets.

Had the good fortune to sleep on a Tempur Pedic while visiting family in the US. Came back to the UK, went to the local Dreams store to buy one, been advised to wait for it to come out in a few months. We did and we did not regret postponing the purchase as it turned out to be the best investment of our life so far. We have been struggling to sleep in the same bed with my husband ever since we met with him tossing a lot and me being a light sleeper. Enter Tempur and the medium firm pro air smart cool mattress that is so solid that I cant even feel him turning in bed, yet I dont wake up in the morning aching from sleeping on a too firm surface as it still has enough softness to it to prevent that. My husband has issues with overheating at night while I tend to feel cold, this has also been resolved now with the breathable material. I cant recommend it enough. It is a bit pricey but a guaranteed good nights sleep is priceless and this product will deliver exactly that.

It's difficult to know where to begin when speaking about the positive aspects of this Tempur mattress. We had been meaning to replace our old-fashioned spring mattress for years and from the first moment the two of us laid down on a Tempur mattress in the Dream's showroom, we knew that we wanted to invest in one. It might sound like a clich, but this mattress has changed our lives. No longer do we wake up with lower back pain! It's also extremely comfortable for sitting on. Whether morning or evening, when we want to relax and read, it's almost impossible to get up from bed because it's just that comfortable! We had some concerns about this type of mattress being too warm, but that absolutely isn't the case, it's somehow manages to regulate temperature. Since using the mattress we have experienced both very warm and very cold nights (thanks to the Great British weather!) Go and try one out in a store, you really really will not regret it!

I actually love my Tempur mattress, although my husband feels as if he is going to roll off it, so not fully decided if we will keep it yet, with the 100 day return policy. A bit saddened that we were immediately advised to return it and choose something else when I wrote to them to let them know, when my opinion about it so far was requested, rather than how long we should give it before deciding. My in-house experience at Dreams when we were looking to purchase turned out not to be so great, as it appeared when speaking to someone in another shop online that the ones sold in Dreams are special to them, so you cant compare like for like with other shops selling them!! Also not happy that they expect you to pay 29 for the drivers to carry your mattress up one flight of stairs. Not good if you are an older person living on your own!! Just a money spinning exercise. Dont think I will be using Dreams again even knowing they are owned by Tempur.

I think people these days overuse the term 'game changer'. Wow, these scrambled eggs are a game changer. This barbecue sauce is a game changer. You know what I mean, right? So don't take it lightly when I say, this mattress is 100% a game changer! Before I got this mattress, I was waking up through the night, tossing and turning, then when I woke, I felt 40 years older than what I am. Aches and pains in my hips, back and legs, having to brace myself against something to stand up so I didn't pull anything and make things worse. Honestly, it wasn't good. But thirty days ago, I received this dream of a mattress. I've been sleeping through the night, waking up rested and without any pains. GAME CHANGER! The only bad thing I can say is that I waited far too long to dig into my pockets to get it.

We spent a lot of time in store trying out the mattresses before deciding on the firmness that we needed. My husband wanted firm and I wanted medium, so we compromised and went for medium firm. We had a memory foam mattress before this and we cant believe how much better the Tempur one is. The advantages are: Incredibly comfortable. It completely moulds to your body and easily changes when you move. Its firm enough that I dont move when my husband does. It doesnt get hot. It doesnt crush on the edges when you sit to put your socks on! Disadvantage: It does smell when you first unwrap it, but we opened windows and rolled back the quilt for a couple of weeks and now its fine. It was very hard for the first couple of days as it was really cold from the storage, but now its perfect!

This mattress is the firm version. I found the medium a little too soft. This mattress gives you all the support you would expect from a Tempur mattress but with the firmness of a good sprung mattress. I have had nothing but perfect sleeps on this mattress since purchasing it. It was one of the mattresses highlighted on the Dreams computerised bed modelling machine, which came up with a list of suitable mattresses. All of the ones we tested were comfortable, so the machine must be doing something right. However, this matteress was by far the most comfortable. It also doesn't need to be flipped or rotated, which is even better. This is our first Tempur mattress and it is super comfy. Definitely worth considering if you are also new to the brand.

I've just swapped this mattress under the 100 night sleep guarantee; for a Sealy model. I found the mattress so hot, even thought it's meant to keep you cool. I live in Scotland, keep my bedroom windows open at night, with the heating off and it was still roasting after a an hour or so. The mattress is firm when you first get into bed, then after you have been on it for a while, it moulds to your body and allows you to sink in - it is meant to do this, but I just couldn't get comfortable with the lack of underlying support. I have a dust mite allergy that was made worse with the Tempur mattress, even with the protective sheet on top of it. All in all, not the mattress for me. Hot, lack of support in the base and not good for my allergy.

It's very supportive but the recess created in the memory foam retains heat, so you become very hot very quickly. It is currently winter and I worry about this in the summer months. I must admit that I don't ache as much as I did with my old standard matress which is a good sign. The bed sheet tends to glide across the surface bunching up under you in the night. We have tried different materials for sheets to see if we can make this better, but nothing has worked yet. With the matress protector included, the sleep quality was awful as it was like sleeping on a plastic bag that slowly cooks you through the night. On the first night, I had to get fully changed after I got so hot. Overall, comfy and supportive but definitely not breathable.

Not the fantastic mattress I was expecting. It does mould to your body well, so quite supportive, but means its an effort to roll over naturally whilst semi asleep so Im waking up even more. Its also quite a warm bed - not hot, but definitely not the cooling temperature as advertised. As its a gel/foam type, you do sink into the bed making sitting up not as comfortable as a normal mattress. Overall Im disappointing, but for the back alignment/support it regains 3 stars - we have the medium firm. We also got the pillows - but these similarly mould to your head and become firm once compressed - giving myself and wife a headache experience. Make sure you exploit the 100 day trial, or you may be stuck with an expensive lump!

Hubby and I have had back problems for a while now BUT since we have had this mattress, no more waking up with back ache. We both seem to be sleeping a lot more better with less waking up during the night. Its a memory form which you can feel yourself sinking into each night with the right amount of support from a medium to firm mattress. When one of you turns over, the other one is not disturbed and their side of the mattress doesnt more. The mattress is also so deep in depth and keeps you cool which is a god send to the more maturing lady. Highly recommended. Although the price is high, I wont be changing it when the free 90 days trial is up because it is so worth the price.

Getting a Tempur mattress was not my initial choice but a friend convinced me to get it. I've suffered with severe back pain for years. I have tried several mattresses. My husband and I needed a new mattress. After going to dreams we met some friendly staff who showed us all the available options. Trying the scanner and identifying what pillows would suit our mattress pairing. We were then able to test multiple different stiffness of the tempur and settled on the medium. Overall it's been great, the team kepts us informed all the way through delivery and took our old mattress away. I bought this mattress because my old one had the personality of a medieval torture device. After one night on this new beauty, I woke up so well-rested I thought I had accidentally slept for 14 hours or transcended into another dimension. The mattress is that perfect level of comfy where you lie down just for a minute and suddenly its tomorrow. It hugs you like a supportive grandma but without the awkward cheek pinching. We arrived into store, trialled the sleep match system. I wasn't completely convinced spending the amount we did on this mattress would be worth it. I was completely wrong. The comfort we've had from this mattress has been amazing, I explained in store I was experiencing lower back pain with our previous mattress, since using our tempur mattress that pain has gone. Still adapting to this mattress, after renewing for a 10 year old mattress. I have cerebal palsy and have leg and back spasms at night. I also sweat from the spasms. I find that the mattress cuddles me on any side I lay or on my back, the cooling properties on the mattress really helping so far,( along with the cooling mattress protector and duvet) Im not waking up drenched at night and having to change. We cant fault the dreams team at the store. No pressure selling and very helpful and we really liked the mattress simulator experience. We ended up ordering online for the interest free credit option. This wasnt offered to us in store. The Tempur mattress arrived in a week. So far we have found it not quite the same feel as the one in the Dreams store, and may need to take up the 100 night guarantee. Another trip to the store to try out other versions unfortunately. It is an expensive purchase and its worth is to get it right.

So pleased that we chose this one. Supportive, comfortable and relaxing, it's made a huge difference to my sleep. I had a bad experience with a memory foam mattress after having it replaced 3 times in 7 years (from a different company). I went to Dreams to look for a replacement mattress, Liberty suggested I lay on the bed for electronic assessment to see which mattress was best for me. I was shown 3 mattresses, all different makes and price ranges. The third one I tried was a TEMPUR mattress. Wonderful mattress. Weve tried the machine in Bromley and it advised the medium firmness after trying out different flavours, Mrs and I agreed that is the best fit. The staff in the Bromley High Streey branch was very helpful and knowledgeable and advised how to get a decent deal as we needed an entire bed for a new home even though we had to order online as we couldnt make it back to the shop in time to get the discount. Not as comfortable at the beginning as i realised too late that the matress in the store, while marked as firm, had been used by hundreds of people. When my matress arrived it was far to firm and uncomfortable, but after about a month of use its more comfortable and getting towards what i expected. Still much better than my previous matress. I hope this helps, as i actually want the TV they are offering me a chance to win by writing this. Bottom line is the matress is worth the money.

We've had a Tempur mattress before but not one of these smart cooled ones. We upgraded to a bigger one and went with the smart cool version this time. Very comfortable as the last one was. We found our older one used to make us a little warm but haven't had this issue with the new one. Love it and very happy. Their 100 day change of mattress thing is super handy too as we are going to change the softness down one level. Highly recommend! I'd never go back to a normal mattress again.

Was it worth it... This was one of the dearest mattresses we'd looked at, having bought several different ones over the last 12 years and and all dipping at the sides and creating a lump down the middle. We bought this as wanted one to last. Having only slept on it for a month or so, our sleep quality has improved greatly and neither of us wake up with an aching back. Back pain a thing of the past, no more waking up stiff and aching enough to need painkillers with breakfast. What an amazing mattress. Great mattress, especially when combined with the adjustable sleep motion beds but the 'off-gassing' period took AGES. Over two weeks before we could sleep on it without being engulfed by the smell. Now its settled, and the initial firmness has softened, it's a great mattress. Just remember to factor in the initial smell period into your replacement plans. Thankfully we had another bed to sleep on in the interim!

Comfy but When we first had it there was a really strong chemical smell that has taken quite a while to fade & has meant weve had to have the bedroom windows open most days as it was quite overwhelming. Weve also struggled with keeping fitted sheets as the zipped cover is a really slippery material. Weve have to invest in some bedsheet holder lock strips & have washed the cooling mattress cover multiple times.

Our previous mattress was a Tempur cloud which we had for 10 years and loved it. Our daughter has claimed it as it is still in excellent condition. Takes a bit of getting used to. Feels quite hard to start with and also it takes a couple of days for the 'new mattress smell' to go away. But I am sleeping well - it is so quiet! When my partner (who's twice the size of me) moves - I don't feel him at all. I was concerned about getting hot as I have not liked memory foam. Wow!! What a difference this mattress makes! Ive always been a restless sleeper but now I have enjoyed a much more settled sleep. Honestly, I actually exchanged the Medium Firm for the Medium as I found it a little too firm. I must say this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. This is a great mattress, I've had the best sleep since i bought this. We got the medium to firm and the support it gives to myself and partner is great, theres no movement on the mattress when one person moves so no disturbed sleep. We really thought long and hard about buying a tempure mattress. 3 weeks in and i would not go back to a spring mattress. Its so comfortable and supportive. Excellent quality mattress. It forms round your body and hugs you to sleep. I have hip problems and this has alleviated some pain so that I get a better sleep. I also feel better when I get out of bed because the mattress has been supporting me. The mattress cover is fine and cooling. I havent used the pillows as I prefer something softer for my head.

I must admit, this mattress took some getting used to, as firmer than what Im used to but from day one my body felt supported. Upgraded from competitor brand, with no regrets at all. The in-store 10 minute lie down is a remarkably good trial for a full night! Not a fan of the crinkly mattress protector offered with bed, but as were not worried about trial/return, weve taken it off. Mind, the protector does not affect breathability but the crepe like feel is annoying!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Tempur mattress as it left me with lower back pain. My husband was fine and finds it super comfortable. We added a topper to the bed and Im fine now. Purchased a medium firm one so possibly needed to buy a medium or softer. Great that Dreams do 100 day return policy but I wanted to avoid that option.

Great mattress. Having bought a Sealy Posture Luxe just over 2 years ago the sides of it collapsed and the springs caused a feeling of seasickness when the other partner in the bed turned, this new Tempur mattress is extremely comfortable and we have both had good restful nights. Complements the Francesca Upholstered Ottoman Bed, purchased at the same time, perfectly. Firm but very comfortable and supportive. Very nice and breathable material, extremely low transfer of movement so its great for two people as it does not move when your partner does. This is however too soft for me, weve tried it out in store but Im having back pain as a side sleeper, so I will be exchanging it for the firmer version.

Can a double sleep motion bed have 2 single mattress on it?

Answer: No, a double is 135cm, whereas a single is 90cm. You would need to have a super king bed (180cm) for two single mattresses to fit.
