We would like to purchase a super king but we are worried that we will struggle to get a package measuring 36x180x200cm up our stairs. Can the package be opened to take the pieces updaters to be built? Or is this the measurement of a solid bed part?
Answer: These are the measurements of the half base. We do ask that you don't open the product as once out the packaging it is classed as a used item. The Product comes in 2 protective bags so they add very little on to the base itself. Maybe take a look at your made to measure range, we could look at alterative options. Speak to the telesales team or visit a local store and they can assist you with more information.

Is the Flaxby base available without drawers? I have a sleigh bed surround so drawers wouldn't be able to open. Also can you confirm if this is fully sprung edge to edge or do you also offer a sprung base with solid edge to reduce the feeling of roll-off?
Answer: Thank you for getting in touch. Yes, there is a no drawer option on the Flaxby divan base. To answer your second question, the top of the base has 2000 mini springs, which gives it that luxurious feel. This is then supported by a firm base, so you should not feel a roll-off sensation.

Ive read reviews that after a time this bed base starts to squeak, is this normal?
Answer: We would not expect this to happen and you would be covered by a year guarantee if it did. You also can purchase the additional insurance option, bedcover, to ensure you are covered for up to 8 years. Hope this helps, Dreams.

Is the Flaxby the only divan base with pocket springs? Does the super king size split from north to south so that we can make it 2 single beds? Thanks
Answer: The Flaxby is the only divan we offer with springs. You can use the Super King as two separate beds however they will not be standard single size, they will be roughly 10cm longer than the UK single.

I would like to get 2 single beds each with 2 drawers. We have limited access up a narrow stair case and will need each bed to be in two pieces (or more) to get to go up the stairs.Can it then be constructed in the room?
Answer: Unfortunately the single Flaxby divan base will only come as one item that will measure 36 x 90 x 190cm. We are not able to offer this broken down into more than one unit.

Please clarify exactly what type of sprung base the divan has. Either fully sprung edge to edge or with a firm border?
Answer: The boarder is firm and has edge support however the springs run through the entire top of the base to add to comfort. Hope this helps, Dreams.

If I buy a pocket sprung mattress should I go for a firm base or pocket sprung I do want a bed with storage. I like a medium to firm mattress.
Answer: This is up to you and what you find comfortable. If you would like a firmer feel on a mattress you would need to go for a firm base.Many thanks
