Tried out bed in showroom. It felt firm but not uncomfortable. Recieved on 27th October. Been having lower back pain since. Have to visit pain management clinic, so very dissapointed. I wanted this bed for comfort and pain relief for cervical neck pain but this lovely big nice bed is causing more pain than experienced before. Cant change it as fear i wont find another good bed soon. Very dissappointed as feeling opposite effect.

Best ever mattress, very very comfy, its very heavy however so make sure if you have an ottoman bed you need an ottoman support bar on it so it stays up when sorting storage. Its also very high so if you have any struggle getting into bed, like sore hips then bare this in mind thats its high & you need to jump up into bed. Overall its soooo comfy.

Purchased this mattress after undergoing the sleep analysis assessment at the Middlebrook branch in Bolton. I was looking for a new mattress but like many people the price was a significant deciding factor. After trying several mattresses in store, I lay on this mattress and it was in a league of its own regarding comfort, support and firmness. I was not intending spending 2000 on a new mattress. However, after lying on cheaper mattresses in the shop, I kept coming back to this one, due to the comfort that it offered. In the end I took the plunge and, in all honesty, it I could not have made a better decision. I have had the mattress for just under one month and I am sleeping so much better than before. I am now getting a full nights sleep without tossing and turning throughout the night. The mattress does weigh an absolute tonne if that is an issue for you. I also had to buy a new mattress protector and new fitted sheets which were 40cm deep, as the ones on my current bed were not deep enough. Overall I could not fault with mattress it is a significant investment but I honestly believe it has been worth it

On entering the store we were greeted and our wish to explore alone respected. Staff checked in and suggested mattresses. Then the manager suggested we experience the sleepmatic machine , to analyse our sleeping positions and scientifically recommend mattresses. One of its recommendations was actually our preferred mattress and we had tried a lot !! This place is definitely not a quick shop to visit, set aside time to explore all the options and like us you will find your dream mattress! The salesman who completed our order was excellent ensuring everything was organised. Delivery was booked and straightforward. Great lads, very friendly and efficient. We have had great fun breaking in the new mattress and our backs , necks and hips are so much happier with 7,000 springs.

After buying a Tempur mattress two years ago, I didnt have a single night of good sleep. I dreaded bedtime, turning over was painful, moving across the bed was a struggle, and even getting out of it felt like a battle. My back pain was unbearable. This mattress has completely changed my life. The pain has lessened, I can move around easily, get out of bed without sinking, and most importantly, I wake up feeling refreshed. I only wish I hadnt spent so long trying to get used to the Tempur! This is a beautiful quality mattress, it is however extremely firm and heavy. The pillow top initially feels very luxurious, very comfortable, but for us as we sank in to the mattress we found the lower part of the mattress very firm, for me as a 16 stone hefty this would leave me with back pain and pain in my arm if I laid on my side. My wife used to sleep on her front but could not do this on this mattress. The weight of this mattress is also very significant. We had just bought a new ottoman base bed, a brand we have bought 9 of and never had an issue, the weight of this mattress is causing the metal parts of the bed base to start to bend under the weight. We will be swapping this out for a slightly softer/medium firm mattress.

Lovely mattress but very heavy and probably too heavy for an Ottoman bed, (which I was sold with this mattress, waiting for lifting points to fail). DO NOT purchase the Super-King size if it needs to go up stairs with a turn in it, as is too heavy and does not bend. Really frustrated after destroying my old bed, to find my new mattress could not be delivered due to stairs, and then had to down size to King Size (waited 1 month for 2nd bed) The mattress is also really deep so my bed now sits 74cm (29") from the floor, which is way to high, but can't be doing with having to go through a another change. The black piping is also visible through the sheets, so get the mattress protector with sides and not straps.

I'm so happy I invested in this bed, I've been having ongoing problems with my back, neck, shoulders etc & I realised it was from my old mattress (Emma mattress). We visited the Salford store & tried out the bed. This was the first bed I tried & I instantly loved it. We went & tried all the others but I kept thinking about this one. The wait was around 3/4 weeks so I was really upset at first, but I knew I wanted this mattress so we decided to wait to get the one we wanted. The Dream Team Gold Helmsdale Ortho Mattress has completely transformed my sleep. My only caution is that its incredibly heavy so while it speaks to the durability and richness of the materials, it does make using an ottoman base for storage nearly impossible as I doubt any pistons for an ottoman would support such weight. Absolutely fantastic mattress! I have arthritis and usually wake up multiple times during the night crying in pain, this new mattress has completely changed my life! The Gold Helmsdale Ortho Combination Mattress is comfortable. However it is very heavy. It could do with handles on ALL sides to help with rotating it. The buttons sewn through the mattress are spaced out more than with other mattresses and are widely spaced out, these create large hollow areas that reduce the comfort of this mattress. It is about time the industry found a better way to keep the covers and springs etc seculey together without stiching through from one side to the other.

We have this mattress on a slatted base. Its a deep mattress and at 53 am unable to sit on the bed with feet on the floor. At only 3 weeks of use we are still getting used to it. It leaves an impression of the body in the top but this disappears during the day. Not sure if this is to be expected. Find it to be a warmer bed than our previous one. As sleep goes it must be ok because I only know when I awake no aches or pains which I was having before this mattress!!

After suffering with back pain for 6 month, I decided to check out mattresses in the Blackpool store. As soon as I led on this bed I knew I would sleep better. I paired it with Jenkins Ottoman Bed Frame which is only one of couple of bases that allow the weight of this mattress. But if you are scared of heights be warned..it is exceptionally high! But my back pain has eased. Also, if the offer of a free duvet is on..GRAB IT!! It is like sleeping under a cloud

Selecting the Helmsdale mattress from Dreams was made easy after their sleep assement tool aligned with my personal selection. Mattress quality, delivery and first months usage has been faultless. This mattress is amazing, the comfort level is like nothing ive ever experienced, the downside...it is super heavy, im strong and i struggle to move it, trying to open my ottoman bed is tough but its worth it for the level of comfort, i managed to get this mattress for half price due to it being an in store model and i couldn't be happier, it was out of my budget but well worth it. It is very firm and is great for me as a dodgy side sleeper

We've been moving house so have only just had the chance to sleep on our new mattress. It's fantastic - firm but also very comfy. Probably best to say that it is big and deep and heavy so you might need to get new sheets to fit, and it's not the easiest thing to move - it says on the packaging that moving it is a two person job - but you get a good quality solid mattress that feels like it will last a long time.

A fantastic supportive mattress that is doing my back the world of good. I have slept on 2 terrible mattresses stacked on top eahc other for years and finally decided to get a new mattress. This particular one is amazing. I knew I needed something firm but this one also adds the benefit of having a pillow top for additional comfort. I'm generally a side sleeper but it is great for both side and back sleeping.

decent mattress however the mattress is very deep so beware! Takes on a whole new meaning to "climbing in and out of bed " and wont fit under gap on headboard with the divan and headboard we have, also when buying deep bed sheets be careful as some are not deep enough john lewis place to go for deep sheets also, we find that it as roll together as in the morning we are are virtually on top of each other !!

The mattress is very firm - as expected. There is a luxury feeling with it, and it's hight is another great plus for us. The negatives are mostly there the mattress is actually not exactly what is says - our king mattress is 3cm shorter than the bed frame. Also despite airing it out, it still have the "new mattress smell" 30 says in .

The mattress is very good quality and has helped with my sore lower back and hip. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a very deep and heavy mattress so you might need to consider access to your chosen room and we've had to purchase new extra deep fitted sheets to fit around the sides of the mattress.

Great mattress. I've had it for 2 weeks now. As soon as you get into the bed, you get a slight hugging feeling then the firmness keeps you stable all night. Only con is that the weight is a bit much. This mattress is so comfortable and the perfect solution for someone who suffers with back & joint pain. No idea why but it has change how I wake up in the morning significantly. Only issue is how heavy it is to move ( but it does have very sturdy handles at the side to help with this)

This Mattress is very thick, Check when purchasing as the overall height of your bed could be very heigh. My Mattress on top of the Devan base is 69 CM from floor to Mattress. My bedside draws are 59CM so much higher than my draws..
