Check and double check the measurements of the mattress if only buying a mattress for your bed frame. I have a king size bed frame and my old mattress (king size) was from a different base. They both fitted without any issues, considering they were from different stores. We bought a king size mattress for the king size frame and the mattress is about 3 or 4 inches short in the width. Resulting in the bed frame and slats showing when the mattress is pushed up against the other side of the bed frame. The other issue is, we went on the bed that takes readings of your body and from the results we were shown mattresses that may suit our body needs. The Kew was amazing in the showroom and even though it was well over our budget, we bought it anyway. Our first nights sleep - we were looking forward to getting a good nights sleep, even though the mattress was smaller than our old king size mattress, HOWEVER the mattress was overly firm and not as snugly as the mattress in the showroom. Resulting in me waking up in pain with my back (I have back problems and arthritis) and hips. To say Im gutted is an understatement especially considering how much we paid for the mattress! Im assuming it will relax over time and become as snugly as the mattress in the showroom. However this still doesnt solve the problem of the size. My advice is to measure your bed frame if only buying a mattress and take a tape measure with you when visiting the showrooms.

The mattresses felt good for the first few nights, until we noticed considerable softening of the comforting layer and increased dip in the spring layer which made the mattress feel way softer than what we wouldve hoped for from a firm mattress. Upon rotating and flipping as per the guidelines (weekly) the same results would occur and now the whole mattress feels more like a medium firmness than the firm one we wanted. This is not ideal as its meant to soften even further over time and the back pain as a result of it is unbearable. The mattress was also shorter by more than 5cm leaving a gap in our bed base where as our old super king mattress would be less than a cm short to allow some wiggle room but not leave a crater like this Kew mattress would. For the price we paid I expect much more granted also the brands history and royal pedigree.

After trying lots of different mattresses over the years and waking up with bad backs or simply just not a great night sleep, we decided to try out Dreams for the first time. We took the sleep matching program where you lay down and it scans you before it recommends a type of mattress. We had firm to medium and the team member at the store then got to work and picked out a range of options for us over a nice cup of tea. Within 20 mins we had picked the one we wanted and then settled up at the desk with a delivery date of just a few days. The mattress arrived band in time and the delivery team were in constant communication. First night we slept in as it was so comfy and new. We have had it a few weeks now and no problems at all and in the morning no bad backs and no crap sleeps. All in all, great service and great mattress so very pleased.

Solid firm mattress. It doesn't sink, having slept for three weeks I am incredibly happy with my purchase. I did have sore adoptation period after sleeping on soft/medium mattress( bc we bought the cheapest and consequently worst quality) for 2/3 days, though it is normal. It is quite heavy, so you need second person to turn it around for proper maintenance. It is pricey but if you see it in person and try it on in their store you can just feel it made with attention to details. In stores you might find sides are way softer, I think purely bc people sit more while testing, will see if mine will show signs of wear soon, hopefully it won't. Not the best option for side sleepers, but defo for back sleepers. It wasn't rolled when it came, which is usually a sign of properly made mattress.

Head down (wink), the best mattress. I did the mattress identifier machine at dreams and this came up on the list. I had a foam one before and it sagged terribly. I was in the shop for nearly four hours as its a big investment so Im glad i chose right. Im three months in and so far so good. Its thick, which is reassuring, weighty and so comfortable. Ive not had back pain since. It is heavy so bear in mind then rotating/flipping but so worth it, the royal warrant also adds to it!

Love love love this mattress. Although on the pricier side, it was worth every penny. I do not like overly soft beds but equally not ones that feel like sleeping on the floor. I've wanted a luxurious, pocket sprung mattress for a while. Not being sure what to get, we researched and led on a fair few beds! Our goal was one that did not have memory foam or gel built-in so we could turn the mattress and stay as cool as possible. This does the trick. I am a HOT sleeper - no problems at all with this one. Our old smart memory foam mattress from before was far too hot (even though it says it wouldn't be). This was just a plain, straight-up winner.

Lovely and firm. I have scoliosis so I need a good medium firm bed and this is it. It provides enough support to be comfortable but not so much that it hurts. Very much as described. Have had a lovely sleep every night since and well worth the money. Managed to get this bed at a reduced price during the sales. I find the bed really comfortable, not too stiff or saggy. My back and leg pain have disappeared when I sleep now. The build quality looks and feels good. The bed is double sided so you can just flip it over every so often. It also works well with the adjustable electric bed frame (sleepmotion) too.

Deep mattress so you will need extra deep sheets to fit. Comfortable but for me I can feel the dips where the buttons are. Slightly smaller than our previous Kingsize mattress so there is a little ridge round the base of it when it's placed on our previous bed base. It is comfortable but not amazing for the price.

The mattress is great very comfortable. One thing to consider is the depth of the mattress sas you may need a deeper fitted sheet which is not a problem. Also consider the depth of your base as this with the thickness of the mattress can make the bed hight quite high.
