Black Friday mattress deals 2026 UK

Updated 26 August 2026

Black Friday 2026 hasn't started yet. Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026. We start watching for early offers from 5 November.

Retailers we track for Black Friday

No Black Friday 2026 codes have come in yet. These are the retailers whose codes we track. When one publishes a Black Friday offer, it appears here and on their promo page.

When is Black Friday 2026?

Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. Neither date is the one to put in your diary. Offers reach us from 5 November, so that's when this page starts filling, and it runs to 1 December, once the extended ones have gone.

Every code in that window shows up above as a card, worded as the retailer wrote it, with the end date where they publish one. When the window shuts the cards go too.

When do Black Friday mattress deals start in the UK?

Before the day itself, and the direct brands tend to move first. Simba's published terms for 2025 ran its promotion from 00:01 on 21 November to 23:59 on 30 November, a 10 day run instead of one Friday. Chains with showrooms tend to open before the Friday and run into December.

Expect little to move in early November. Prices edge about, the wording changes a lot, and the same offer can come back under a bigger banner a fortnight later. Watching your shortlist across that stretch costs you nothing.

What the wording does when the price doesn't

Retailers stretch the event because a fortnight of trading beats a day of it. Renaming a sale costs a retailer nothing, so ignore the artwork and watch the number on your mattress: if it hasn't moved since the 6th, the sale hasn't reached it yet.

Does every retailer take part?

Nearly all of them, so the better question is who's running something worth your time. Start with the table above: it names every retailer we cover, counts the codes each has live right now, and links to their promo page where one exists. Nothing shows before a retailer publishes it, so everything on this page is already live.

Is it worth waiting for the day itself?

Usually not. The stock goes before the price does. Clearance lines and one-off sizes are finite, so whatever went in the first week of the window is gone for the rest of it. Where a retailer has marked a current range for the window, the price usually holds to the end, so there's no penalty for waiting on one of those.

There's one case for holding on, and it's a straight comparison. When two mattresses on your shortlist sit at different retailers, the last week of November is when both are most likely to be reduced at once. You get to compare two live prices instead of one live price and your memory of another.

What to check before you use a code

Read the terms first. That's where your Black Friday code usually loses its edge. Clearance stock, bed frames, divans and the exact top-end range you'd been eyeing are all common exclusions. None of that shows in the headline.

What outlives the sale

Trial length is the part you'll still be using in February. A bed you can hand back at the end of one beats a few extra percent on a bed you can't. Your delivery date comes next: a November order that arrives in January is a different purchase from one arriving next week. And check the price history of that model in your size. It's the only way to tell a solid cut from a rearranged one.

Where this page's numbers come from

Our cards carry the retailer's own wording, end date included where they give one. There's no countdown clock here and there won't be one. Dates and our own price record are covered in how we put these pages together.

Who should skip Black Friday

Anyone who needs a mattress in the next fortnight, and anyone shopping mainly at the direct brands. Holding out for the Friday might trim the price. It also means weeks more on a mattress that's stopped doing its job.

That second group is buying from companies that discount most of the year anyway. Which? found several direct brands with mattresses that appeared to stay on sale right through an 8 week check in 2023. Emma Sleep's countdown timers and discount claims ended in a May 2026 High Court consent order, the regulator's version of the same warning.

If that's you, the UK sales calendar shows when the next window opens, and our top mattress picks ignore the calendar entirely. Bank holiday weekends fall between Easter and August, which beats waiting until November if you're shopping in spring. After this window shuts, Boxing Day is the next big one.

Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday is 30 November 2026, and in this category it's usually the same sale under a different banner. Simba's terms above are one dated example: one promotion, with the Monday inside it, and no second event after it.

What does change from time to time is the extras. Free delivery, a pillow or a mattress protector thrown in, or a code that finally covers the range left out the week before. Those are worth a second look on the Monday even when the headline percentage hasn't moved.

If a retailer does treat it as a separate event with its own code, that code appears in the deal cards above with its own end date, like any other.

What happened last Black Friday

We didn't record Black Friday 2025 retailer by retailer. From 2026 on, each retailer's offer and the dates it ran are listed here once the sale closes.

Black Friday questions

How early do the offers reach you?

Offers start arriving in the first week of November, and this page carries them from the 5th to 1 December. Direct brands are usually out in front of the showroom chains, with the pace picking up through the month. Watch the two or three beds you're weighing up across that stretch and you'll see which cuts have moved and which are the same code re-badged.

Which UK mattress retailers run Black Friday deals?

Almost every UK bed retailer and mattress brand runs something, so the list itself tells you little. Every retailer we cover appears in the table above with a live code count beside its name, updated as new codes come in. Dreams Black Friday 2026 codes, for example, show there and on Dreams' promo codes page together, and the same goes for any retailer with a promo page: open it for their full set rather than only the codes tagged to this event.

How deep are Black Friday mattress discounts?

The showroom chains cut hardest, because their prices go back up in December. At the direct brands the figure needs reading against their ordinary price, since some of them barely leave sale, as the Which? check above found. The fair test there is whatever the same mattress cost through the spring.

Is it cheaper on Cyber Monday than on Black Friday?

Not usually. For most mattress sellers it's one promotion covering both days, as the Simba terms above show. Sometimes the Monday brings a sweetener instead of a deeper cut: free delivery, a bundled pillow, or a code that covers a range left out earlier. That's worth a look, but not worth waiting 3 days for.

Should I buy on the Friday or earlier in the window?

If what you want is a clearance or one-off piece, buy early, because those are finite and nobody restocks them mid-window. Later makes no difference on a current range marked for the event, since that price usually holds. Comparison is the one thing the Friday itself buys you: that's when the most retailers have offers live at once.

Can I get finance on a Black Friday mattress?

Interest-free credit is common at the bigger chains and some direct brands, usually gated by how much you spend and by a credit check. It's a separate question from the discount, though, and you'll rarely combine the two on one order. Check whether the finance offer applies to sale prices, since some retailers restrict it to full-price orders.

Do Black Friday codes work on already-discounted mattresses?

Codes are usually written to exclude clearance and end-of-line stock. That's exactly where the deepest cuts already sit, so your two savings don't stack, and it's the most common let-down at the checkout. Each card's terms line is where the exclusion is spelled out, so read it before you've planned a purchase around a code.
