Overall a good divan base - it looks good and functions fine - though the underside shows the construction quality of the units is poor - so I wouldn't expect it'll have a significant life span, or withstand a lot of use, let's say. The main issue was that, by the time I'd got all of the plastic off, it actually wasn't exactly what I'd ordered - I had wanted two drawers on one side, rather than one on either side, so they'd sent me the wrong combination of units. I didn't press for a replacement as I'd already waited a while and had had enough of sleeping on a mattress on the floor(!), but if you've got more flexibility, do check that what you ordered is what turned up!

The velvet ash colour is Silver Plush Velvet. Its absolutely perfect and matches my floor standing headboard perfectly which was bought from elsewhere online in the same fabric. I got the 2+2 continental drawers base in superking. Delivery was spot on, bed came in two parts and taken into room of choice by the delivery guys who were friendly and polite. Easy to assemble, drawers are tied so you need to cut the tied fabric to open them. Theyre spacious and easily fit all spare bedding! This bed with the mattress is a lot higher than the old one but we love it! Feels and looks luxurious, I highly recommend this one.

The continental drawers on the side of the bed are so handy too - it definitely maximises the storage in the bedroom. The bed itself looks great and feels fantastic - certainly great value for money. Exactly what we needed. Firm base, mattress doesn't slip. The legs are sturdy and don't slip. Drawers are soft-close and spacious, and the covering material is lovely, soft and the colour blends beautifully into the room. Sturdy high quality workmanship. It does make the bed pretty high overall, but that just makes it easier to get in and out of. Really pleased with the purchase! Delivery also efficient and very easy!

We wanted a divan base to minimise squeaks and general noise that we have experienced through frame based beds in the past. This base has done the trick at one side but something is already squeaking at the other only 3 weeks in so have it on watch to see how it goes. Other that this, its a basic divan base with decent storage space and it's finished in a good fabric. Jury is out on value at the minute.

So happy with my purchase. The sleep match machine helped me choose the right matress. The only issues I have are, that my colour options were primarily dictated by what style of headboard I chose, and that I was not informed how deep my matress was and that I would need extra deep fitted sheets to avoid them slipping all the time; and I didn't really pay much attention to this at the time of choosing.

I have given this 4 stars but only because with a bed of this quality I would expect it to be built perfectly. I couldn't believe when starting to put it together, the joining hook was put on upside down and the screw head was crushed, where was the QA?! But Dreams were very good and give a discount. It is a lovely bed , apart from the height, I have to use a stool to get on it and Im 5 6. And the really annoying thing was the plastic had split that was protecting the mattress so I had quite a few dirty marks to clean off. I didnt see this till the delivery men had gone.
