What a lovely mattress and like nothing we've had before. Last time we changed our mattress we went for one with a memory foam topper built in which proved to be a big mistake. The topper would move and we'd wake up in the night to find our pillows had disappeared down the back, so we knew we didn't want one of those again. Anyway. We chose to go to dreams to use their sleep sensor bed to see if it would help us get a good nights sleep and it recommended a firm mattress. So having had this mattress around 4 weeks now and having slept on the cloud mattress for 4 weeks I can say this mattress has made a difference to my sleep. So previously I had a memory foam mattress from Ikea which cost me around £300, it was quite hard but we made do with it as I guess other things in life take precedent. While the price may seem a little steep at first, I can safely say after a month of use that these pillows are worth every penny. Hands down the best pillow I have ever owned. I was able to try one out while looking for a new mattress, and was skeptical at first, taking it as a bit of an expensive gimmick, but, wow, 10 minutes of use in-store and I was sold. The obvious USP is the CoolTouch feature and it really lives up to the name - it is always cool to the touch. The pillow does warm up a little during use, but you can simply move your head to another part of it to experience that cool pillow feeling again - meaning no more pillow flipping in the middle of the night to get the cool side. It really is something else. The support the pillow provides is also fantastic. I'm a restless sleeper, and fall asleep on my front, but will move around in the night so that I could be on my side or back and it is equally as comfortable for all sleeping positions. My head sinks into the pillow just the right amount, and the pillow springs back to shape very quickly when I move. A great balance of softness/comfort and support. The removable, washable cover is also very handy for keeping your pillows fresher for longer. The ONLY drawback, if you can call it that, is that there is a slight smell to the pillows when you initally start using them, I imagine this is something to do with the CoolTouch feature. But this has already disappeared for me after a month of use. Overall, I couldn't be happier, would recommend these to anyone.

OK, so having broken my back 40 years ago, I’ve spent a fair chunk of my disposable income on different mattresses and beds, latex, pocket sprung, Vi-Spring - you get my drift. Sadly, none of these gave me exactly the correct amount of support in the places where this was crucial to getting a peaceful, restful and refreshing night’s sleep. I did a lot of research to find the right mattress. After a lengthy period hunting, I came across this model within the Flaxby range. It has everything that my partner and I were looking for. We had put up with our previous mattress for far too long so we decided to make an investment. We have not been disappointment at all. Considering that this only comes in either a medium/firm or firm, I was surprised at just how comfortable the medium/firm actually is. We sink into it. The pillow top does help. We've only had the mattress a few nights and know that we are getting the best sleep ever as it is a world famous Harrison Spinks. The mattress is a lot taller than our old one, and I was worried that the sheets wouldn't fit as a result and we would have to by king size sheets, but everything fits perfectly. Oh, aches and pains in my neck have vanished. Suffering with pains when you wake up, then do yourself a favour and get a Flaxby. You will not be disappointed. Hand made is BEST made.

Amazing!! We bought the king size, solid slat bed with a smart 43” LG TV. We assembled the bed ourselves which wasn’t too hard as we were given the instructions on purchase to study before it arrived. It arrived within 6 weeks and the delivery men were so friendly they took everything up to our bedroom for us! The frame itself is very sturdy, barely even wobbles (during activities) we probably could have gone for a better mattress but the one we chose suited budget. The tv takes about 20 seconds to go up and down, comes with a remote to go up and down the remote is even a torch as well! Even the headboard is cosy to sit up and lean against with or without pillows. My only wobble with it is I would have liked the frame to be a bit higher. All in all the best purchase we’ve ever made!

The service from the Dreams store in Berryden was great, with sound advice given and all questions answered. I was kept informed about the scheduled delivery and was provided with a 2 hour time slot the day before, which was confirmed with a telephone call from the drivers on the day. They were courteous and ensured that the mattresses were in place and as expected, removing my old ones, and taking all the packaging away too. My only issue, was that the cost of removing and disposing of my old mattresses had risen significantly, taking advantage of the difficulty accessing uplifts by the council. I would definitely buy from Dreams again and have recommended them to friends and family.

I made the purchase of this ottoman storage double divan with aquatic mattress and headboard entirely over the telephone. The sales rep at the Grimsby store was so helpful - I knew I wanted a velvet finish to the bed and he was able to assist me with various pricings, options and colourways. When the bed was delivered, the two gentlemen who assembled it were efficient and friendly and took the time to show me how to access the storage - where to hold when lifting and closing (two separate techniques). After spending a lot on a previous memory foam mattress that was terrible we had to bite the bullet and go back to a spring mattress - initially this mattress was a shock as it felt so firm. I bought a mattress topper (grudginly)to give it a little softness - its now 3/4 weeks in and im much more used to it. Dreams in york sales service was excellent. The communication about delivery was excellent and the delivery lads were excellent, well mannered and even took their shoes off and i never asked them too. The mattress quality is excellent - i maybe should have got a softer setting
