3 weeks in and its the most comfortable thing weve ever slept in. Literally cant wait to climb the stairs to bed at night. Super king, pocket sprung, medium softness with built in topper. Temperature regulated using natural fibres. It is proving to be well worth the investment. Ive been poorly for a week so have spent most of that time in it and for once havent experienced any aching back or stiff limbs - not fun, but a good way to test it! Were pleased as punch.

We bought the back to nature super king as we always buy a quality bed and this seemed to be a good choice,then a few weeks before delivery we where informed that they had redesigned the mattress and had to wait an extra eight weeks. One word of notice these are the heaviest mattress I have ever come across and you need to sting people to move it.

Ultimate comfort. It took a few nights to get used to my new bed and its the best thing since sliced bread! Extremely comfortable, supportive and luxurious. Its quite deep so had to buy some extra deep fitted sheets. My only concern is how it will feel in the summer as its quite a warm bed.

We purchased the Flaxby 14450 pillow top mattress from Dreams after trying out the range of Flaxby mattresses in store. We opted for the Superking size with the split medium/soft support and the zipped option (essentially two singles joined together). I prefer the medium support whereas my partner likes the softer feel. Bear in mind, these are heavy mattresses and having the split mattress option makes it far easier to turn them, which you will need to do weekly for the first 3 months (then monthly thereafter). It has taken a long time for the mattress to fully bed in and feel comfortable to sleep on. If you're considering this mattress, be prepared for a full 6-8 weeks break in period to allow the materials to loosen up and conform to your body. When new, it felt very stiff with the sensation you're lying on top of the mattress, with not much give and with minimal support. My partner quickly got used to sleeping on her softer mattress, whereas with my medium feel mattress, I experienced lower back pain on and off for the first 4-5 weeks. The Dreams staff advised that the Flaxby mattresses do take a while to break in and conform to your body. Here's some tips that have worked well for us and are worth considering: Mattress support - this mattress really does deserve a quality bed base, preferably a pocket spring divan base. We initially used our old Superking bed frame with sprung slats. However, although the 14450 mattress is a deep mattress and should in theory work well on any bed base, we found that it not gel that well with the sprung slats, as the mattress tended to sag slightly. We have now switched to a sprung divan base and it's made a big difference to the feel, comfort and support of the mattress. Pillows - we initially used our Tempur cloud pillows with the Flaxby but we have since switched to Levitex sleep posture pillows (we opted for the small size). This has made a world of difference - no more neck and back pain! Duvets - we've always liked having our own single duvets rather than sharing a larger duvet so we can better control our body temperatures. My partner uses a weighted duvet whereas I switched to a wool filled duvet. The Flaxby mattresses do offer better temperature control compared to our old Tempur mattress. It is still worth investing in a quality duvet to really get the best sleeping experience.

I am obsessed with my new mattress! I picked a Flaxbyits hand-sewn and made in-house by the brand. What I really liked is how open they are about where and how its made. They even let the Dreams store staff visit the farm and factory! When I first asked about it at Christmas, one of the team members, Mike, was super excited to tell me everything. He even had pictures and clearly loved sharing how it all works. That made a big difference to meI knew I had to come back when I was ready to buy. The mattress feels awesome. It feels like i'm on top of luxury! Since I am only 5'4 on a 36cm mattress, I truly feel like queen of the castle . I know itll soften up a bit with time, which Im actually looking forward to, I've had it for a month now (and even though I forgot to rotate it) it's feeling like its shaping well to me. I went with this over a Tempur because it just felt more natural, and the traditional support is better for me. Tempur made me feel a bit off when I got up, probably because of my health. This one just feels rightand honestly, it feels like luxury every night. Then there's the bed frame! That was just a sweet deal, but I have noticed it's no longer on the website! I got the Soren in mustard and walnut, it looks stunning, and it fits just under my windowsill really nicely. I love the headboard, it goes well with my dark green sheets, and I'm planning on shaping my room around it when I decorate next. With that and amazing staff to help me make a decision, it was a super satisfying shopping experience with Dreams!!

We purchased two soft zip and link Flaxby Mattresses, delivered on 1 July 2022. They are not as soft as the ones you lay on in the store, we have turned them around, but they are still not as soft as we thought they would or should be. Also, when zipped together and you want to move the mattresses, they fold up in the middle, so it is like they are not joined together properly. The zip and link mattresses we had before these zipped together and acted as one complete mattress, they did not fold up in the middle when moving them, nor did they have a gap between the two mattresses like these flaxby ones have. Our previous mattresses were not Flaxby nor were they purchased from Dreams. We thought that these Flaxby mattresses would be different than they are, we were not able to try any zip and link mattresses in the store as they did not have any on display. At over 2,500 we are more than a little dissapointed.

having hummed & harr'ed about potential purchase for over a year, we eventually went to Dreams & tried a few mattresses. We chose one, which was delivered within the specified time frame, the old mattress was taken away, & we were looking forward to restfall nights. The mattress is indeed wonderful to sleep on - but there was a problem. The orginal base is 16" tall, the new, lovely mattress is 14" tall. My husband thought it was great - he go's to get out of bed, his feet are flat on the floot, but here was the problem. he is 6'2", no problem - I am a mere 5'6", my feet dangle some 6" off the ground, so getting into & out of bed is an undignified scramble clutching at the duvet. Answer? Husband kindly builds me a 6" step. Getting in, & out of bed is now wonderfully easy. Uncomfortable nights are now definitely a thing of the past!

We already have a tempur bed, And although recommended as one of the top beds to have we decided that a foam mattress was no longer for us. After spending several hours in store trying various sprung beds we settled on the Flaxby. The team in store at pur Cambridge branch were outstanding. They explained in detailed the various bed types and style's and also which firmness we should have. Ordering ans delivery were a breeze, the delivery team were very considerate wearing over shoe's and face masks. And provided all necessary advice on how to maintain the bed. From our 1st night sleep on the Flaxby we have woken feeling fully refreshed each day, its so cozey especially with the cold winter nights that the only problem is that we dont ever want to get out of bed now.

Your Review We treated ourselves to a Harrison Flaxby mattress as we wanted something soft and non memory foam. having had a Tempur mattress for 15 years which has served us well we made the decision to go for something using natural materials. The delivery was 4 weeks and was delivered on the day at the time given - with the driver calling us to check and advise us - very good customer service. We are still getting used to the mattress and after 2 weeks finding out about how our bodies respond to it. I invested in this mattress along with the sleepmotion 800i frame to combat insomnia, and I now rarely struggle to fall asleep. This mattress in the zero gravity mode is pure bliss. The worst thing about this mattress is that is has ruined hotel stays for me, I no longer enjoy sleeping in a 5* suite, as this mattress means my bed is so much comfier! Bought the super king size and soft. One genuine annoyance is that it was a couple months late to be delivered, which having just moved to an unfurnished house was a huge inconvenience. I do think considering the price of the mattress, the manufacturer should have offered some free pillows or a duvet etc. For the delay.

Our last mattress was about 20 years old and was causing sleepless nights and aches and pains in the morning . We looked at many mattresses and they were just either poorly made or not providing support. We tried the various Flaxby Nature firmness types and went for a medium support. Medium supper king mattress chosen to replace Flaxby which although I liked the idea of I was feeling every spring and dip with .. I was worried at first this would be to soft as it has a soft edge but its definitely medium support am sleeping really well after previously waking with hip pain and stiff every day Thank goodness . We tried the matress in the showroom and this model felt the best for comfort for us. The matress which we have recieved is noticably harder/firmer than the one we tried, I probably would not have opted for this product if it felt this way in the showroom. I was told after raising this, that the showroom model would be a lot softer than the one we got, but the whole sale pitch is based on how the showroom models feel, what is the point if it does not reflect the product being delivered. I have been told it will soften with time but not how long this might take

Our 1st night on this mattress was not a good night, we both got up in pain. I was worried, as i paid a lot of money for it and had already got rid of my old one. We were both pleasantly surprised with our second night, it was so much better and no pain next day, for either of us. We are 2 weeks down the line now, still getting used to our new mattress but it is now a pleasure to get into bed. I find buying the right mattress very hard and am pleased there is 100 night returns guarantee. I'm sure i can safely say, it wont be going back

I have had this mattress for a month now. I purchased a medium single. Initially I thought I had made a mistake as it seemed to be more firm than medium. It is much deeper than my old mattress therefore it felt a little strange to be higher. After a while it settled down and is very comfortable. It was expensive and one needs to get it right. At last i get a good nights sleep! I have curvature of the spine and being in later part of my senior years, i needed a decent mattress. Yes, this was expensive for me, but worth every penny. We have had our new mattress just over three weeks and are struggling with it as its nothing like the one we tried in the showroom. We ordered a soft mattress, however it feels like we are sleeping on a hard floor. The first 3 nights I awoke to lower back pains. My husband still awakes feeling aches in the morning. Nowhere near as soft as the one in the shop. Ordered a medium as recommended by Dreams and tried in shop. Was way too hard so after 90 days of trying to get used to it we exchanged it for the soft version. Soft version is also way too hard. Much firmer than the one in the shop. Very disappointed as love the natural filling and has stopped my night sweats but now looking at selling this one and finding something softer as keep waking up with dead legs.

We're really happy with our mattress. It's very comfortable and breathable. A couple of things to note - it's very heavy (70kg) and doesn't flex much so bear this in mind when ordering for a bedroom with limited access. Also, it's a tall mattress, so you'll want a lower bed if possible. Our bed is just 30cm high and the mattress still feels high off the ground. All things considered, though - this is the best mattress we've ever slept on.

Absolutely the most comfortable mattress EVER! Easily manoeuvred despite being very heavy because it has handle holds on each side AND unusually at BOTH ends, so even this 75 year old lady can deal with it alone! Seriously, we both love this mattress and have slept perfectly ever since it was installed. Cannot recommend it enough. Also it is deeper than any others we have purchased in the past and is therefore so easy to get in and out of.

We bought one from the shop floor, so had been broken in so to speak. Delivered on Monday and from the first night, instant bliss. Stay in bed longer - dont turn as much, if fact hardly at all. Absolutely wonderful so comfortable, from the first night I had NO LEG CRAMPS, I normally wake 3-4 times a night with leg cramps hobbling around the room till they go off. We chose the medium, it is comfortable for us. The mattress is heavy making rotation more awkward than our previous one, not something we had thought about. The pillow top makes it deep our fitted sheets only just manage to fit. It also moves the edge of the usable mattress in slightly so it's not quite as big as a normal mattress.

We bought this bed a few months ago I still have not had really comfortable nights sleep because the buttons on the topper seem to have sort plastic going thru them which keep sticking into my hips all the time which are very uncomfortable I should have gone back to store but it closed down to weeks after we bought our bed.

Worth every penny. The mattress is so comfortable. We do feel its a little smaller than a king size normal mattress due to the pillow top section but it hasnt spoilt comfort. Lovely bed, it felt firmer when we first had it but its soften and feels much better. We ordered a medium and thats quite firm. Its a very high bed. I suffer lower back issues and the pain I had waking up has completely gone.
