Finally found a mattress that delivers comfort and support! For years I've suffered with a bad back and the Ashbourne Pocket Sprung Mattress seemed to be the answer. I love its soft comfort grade and the individually wrapped springs really make a difference. It's like sleeping on a cloud that somehow knows exactly where I need support. Ive gone from a hard orthopaedic mattress to a soft mattress despite the sleepmatch test advising on a medium and its the best decision I have ever made. Its not really bouncy soft like old springy mattresses but theres just enough bounce to get a comfortable nights sleep right from the very first night. I said I wanted to be sleeping on a giant marshmallow and that is exactly what I got. I wont need the 100 night guarantee. I absolutely love it and youre not having it back !

Such a comfortable mattress. A soft mattress required due to health issues. Four visits to Dreams at various times of the day to re-try the mattress. The mattress is reversible so can be turned and flipped. It is 10 inches/25 cms in depth but my sheets fitted so did not need to buy new deep ones which was a bonus! It's made in Britain and extremely well made.

We were nervous about trying the Ashbourne to start with because it is sold as a soft mattress and historically, soft mattresses havent suited us. But having tried it in store, along with many others, we were impressed by the support it seemed to give so decided to give it a go. We have been using it for a few months now and are very impressed. The individually wrapped pocket springs mean that we are not disturbed by the other moving during the night and those, coupled with the natural fillings mean that even on the hottest nights, we stay comfortable. We have turned the mattress a couple of times already and are pleased that the fillings are settling evenly. The fact that the wool fillings were responsibly sourced was a good selling point for us, as was the addition of the antibacterial cover. All in all, we are very pleased with the Ashbourne. Its a very luxurious feeling mattress! Highly recommended.

It is very difficult to buy a mattress, as there are simply too many to choose from, having spoken with my parents, they bought a Dreams mattress many years ago and they are extremely satisfied with it, so I tried their mattress for comfort and found it very comfortable, so I went online and ordered a soft mattress similar to theirs. So far, 2 weeks in, it seems very comfortable, I am not having as many aches and pains as a nights sleep on my old mattress. The ordering was easy and efficient, the delivery was on time and the delivery men were extremely helpful, took the new mattress to the bedroom for me, dont think I could have managed that myself, as it is a good quality and a decent weight matters. Looks amazing and initially comfortable, however after a few months gets harder as it flattens. I turned the mattress every week the first 3 months, as instructed, and now monthly. The mattress is described as warm in winter and cool in the summer, due to the natural fillings. I can definitely say this is not cool in the summer, it is far too hot. I also feel the tufts are far too deep compared to others and you end up with your ankle in one or elbow and wake up aching. This may be just me and other customers may not feel the same. I should have returned after the 100 night trial. I will have to purchase something else as I cannot sleep on it. I was not offered interest-free credit either at the point of purchase; which is okay but I should have been given the choice.

I was having trouble sleeping, waking up frequently with pins and needles in my shoulders and pain in my lower back. The very firm mattress I was using was just too hard. When I visited my sister I slept without any problem on the soft mattress there. So it seemd that the answer was obvious. I found just what I wanted at Dreams, Worcester, and at a lower price than I expected. A fortnight later I had my first night on the soft mattress, an instant improvement with an unbroken 5 hour sleep. It's actually got better with a couple of weeks' use. Wow! What I can only imagine is like sleeping on a cloud! This mattress was purchased for our toddler as recommended by one of your lovely store assistants! We actually came in with the intention of buying a different one, but after a quick chat the lovely lady told us the CEO also loves this one. So we gave it a try! Our toddler now sleeps all night in her own bed (which is a win in itself) but when shes not here on the odd occasion me and my husband now have to rock paper scissors over who actually gets to sleep in there as a treat! therefore I highly recommend! The Matress is soft, yet gives a firm enough layer of support for myself. Especially being a front sleeper. I found it very hard to find a soft matress that would meet my needs given that Fibro Myalgia runs in the family. However I would say this has been great so far. I have noticed that my back pain has practically gone since getting this. and as someone who is on the lighter side I would say that it is definitely a good purchase if you were hesitating on trying this. you definitely should. it maybe slightly pricy for some people, however I would say that its worth it and you definitely get what you pay for

I bought this mattress for 899. because of so many good reviews it is getting, they have put the price up to 1599. Because of the natural wool it 1st feels amazingly, luxurious and super comfortable, but wool naturally flattens over time, this is why I have waited until my 100 night trial has finished to review. It is still a comfortable mattress but not as as luxurious as it is when new. If you can afford it at this price please don't review until you feel what it's like when the wool flattens. Very comfortable. No longer getting up stiff and sore from a lack of support to the lower back through the night. Honestly, the mattress requires some 'bedding in' as the new mattress (full of natural fibres) requires some small compression from use, but rotated and turned every week we are distributing that and the result will be a brilliant uniformly comfortable and supportive mattress. I cannot highly enough recommend traditional construction like this over memory foam and modern gimmicks..

We've got this mattress in our spare room and so far had 3 different people sleep on it. All have commented how comfortable it is. It is definitely soft but still supportive. One person reported it was the best night's sleep they'd had in several years so high praise indeed! The only thing I would say is the mattress is quite deep so our standard fitted sheets don't really fit completely over the mattress so at some point I will need to probably get some extra deep fitted sheets.

Lovely soft mattress. Only used it a matter of weeks; it appears to hold its shape with 2 different sized people sleeping on it (120lbs and 240lbs) but time will tell. I find it a little warm for my liking and I finish up sweating a short time after settling in to sleep. The mattress is very thick so I have had to buy new mattress protectors and fitted sheets as my previous ones kept slipping off. Overall a good mattress, if you like a soft squishy feel to your mattress.

I had to flip it a couple of times within a couple of weeks and move to different sides as it sinks easily, and Im under 10 stone and sleep alone so im not sure how well it will cope with 2 people or heavier people. I've had it about 2 months. Im waking up a bit achey, which is why I got a new mattress in the first place. It's improved since my last mattress but I was obviously hoping to not be aching at all. I got it to try and be more environmentally friendly too

My partner and I were between this mattress and the more expensive model of the same company. We personally couldnt feel a huge difference between the two, so went for this one (the cheaper one). Weve now had it a month and absolutely love it. We look forward to getting into bed as we know how comfy it is. We did the dreams machine and it said we should get medium or firm, however after trying them we instead went for soft and luckily made the best decision.

This was bought as a replacement for a gel top mattress we bought several years ago from Dreams, the problem was it was incredibly heavy so changing sheets was a two person job. This mattress is more comfortable and much lighter so my wife can change the sheets single handedly. The gel mattress it replaced was too warm and the new one breathes much more allowing air to circulate easily. We are both very happy with the new one.

On arriving at the Dreams Showroom, we were met by a very helpful assistant who explained that they have a special bed that my wife and I could lie on which analysed our sleeping position. After the experience, the machine suggested the sort of be that would suit us the best, we chose one of 4 beds that we were shown, and we must say that it is the best bed we have ever owned in our 50 years of marriage.

Excellent, thought it felt a little more like medium in the first week, but it's softening now at the third week as the info booklet that came with it advised, and it feels exactly right, lots of give but with lots of support at the same time. I'm fairly lightweight so it's lovely to have a mattress that feels comfortable and supports my whole body, instead of feeling like I'm lying on a hard surface.

Bought our mattress a few weeks back and do far sn excellent buy. I can sleep on a clothes line but my wife has a bad back which was troubling her before we bought the new mattress. Comfy mattress for the 900 I paid for a DOUBLE. Its a shame as it WASNT on offer when I purchased and Ive gone to purchase another for my other child but dreams have put the price up by 700 in just a month!!! How do you justify this dreams? After months of backache after first night NO BACKACHE as get out of bed and none since. Not 5 star as this is a heavy mattress and a king size. There should be handles on all 4 sides as it has to be flipped. I might be able to manage on my own with the extra handle but having to rely on friends to come especially to help me. Not helped by having been told was a turn only mattress!!

Had this mattress just over 5 weeks. Initially I was worried it would be too soft. So far its been very comfortable. Side and back sleepers. I still suffer with occasional hip pain but I now believe this is not to do with any mattress. I like that the mattress is turnable as should make it last longer. Was warmly greeted when I stepped into the store, and was shown to their 'spcial mattress' which takes analytics depending on sleeping style to offer mattresses suited to one's needs. Delivery was efficient, and the delivery men even wore disposable shoe covers and took it up a flight of stairs. The mattress itself is super comfortable, and well suited.

Bed arrived as arranged. Drivers very polite and pleasant. Carried the mattress upstairs and laid on the bed, gave clear instructions as to leaving it for an hour before unwrapping. Such a beautiful mattress, it is incredibly comfortable but also very supportive. I aired the mattress with the window open for a full day and have not noticed a wool smell at all. This is the second Ashbourne we have brought. We both suffer from bad backs and have tried firmer mattresses, but found them uncomfortable. For my buget this is an amazing mattress couldnt find anything comparable for the price although its a bit on the warm side but nothing is perfect and my old mattress was very cool compared to a lot of mattress Ive slept on on hotels and the like. So about as warm as a premier inn mattress.

Cannot recommend this mattress highly enough. Obviously with a new mattress it takes a while to readjust from an old one. But given a couple of days/nights and it really is fabulous. Give it a try instore. Try for yourself.
