Were not in the full flush of youth so consequently suffered from the odd creaking bone when getting out of bed in the morning. After a few months of pretending all was well we decided that a new mattress was probably needed. The previous had served us well for ten years, it wasnt lumpy or sagging but it was definitely past its firmest. We went to Dreams in Tottenham Court Road simply because we could get a bus straight there from the end of our road - best thing weve done in months! Served promptly and efficiently, tested a few mattresses and made our choice. The salesman did not pressure us in any way in terms of price or accessories. Our only disappointment was that we had to wait nearly three weeks for delivery!!!

My wife and I have recently purchased mattresses from Dreams at Team Valley and to start with the two members of staff whe saw to us went above and beyond what we expected. I was amazed at the computerised bed that told each of us what mattress we needed. Excellent firm mattress. Can feel the dips even with a mattress protector on, but doesn't cause issues and you get used to it in a night or two. Could stand to have handles on top/bottom as well as sides, as handles can pop stitches if you're only using one to pull/flip the mattress. Only had for 3ish weeks so can't say for endurance yet. Very good for heavier bodies; keeps shape well and very good support. Got a good deal in store but alas! Online sale now for one hundred less than I paid. Fife four niner king. Very worth the price, even what I paid.

Although the staff recommended a medium/soft mattress, we decided to go with our guy instinct and buy this firm one instead, and we're so glad we did! We're sleeping so much better on this mattress and waking up with less aches and pains! And all at a decent price! The mattress isn't too hard and has a soft-like top without not being firm. Delivery was good as well, delivered it right to my bed frame, however I was a bit disappointed they didn't take the plastic cover away. But overall very good.

This Amersham matttess is not for the faint hearted! If you want it firm, you got it! If you want it 'a little firm' beware. This is proper firm. But.... it is fantastic for it. You will ache for a few weeks if it is not what you are used to. We went from a cra**y Emma foam mattress which was beyond terrible, so a coil sprung flat bed is awesome. We also sit up to read and watch TV, the Amersham is good for this too. We purchased it in the sale too so was amazing value.

We really really love the quality , the workmanship of the mattress and good price point. It was affordable luxury and even though this was a mid range mattress it feels like a high end mattress. I've had several operations on my back and find it hard to get comfortable and to get the support I need, the mattress I had was just not doing the job. The Amersham gives me really good support, it's firm enough that I can roll over easy without getting stuck in any dips that other mattresses seem to have, if you need a firm support then I'd recommend this without hesitation

This mattress is all natural fibres, which is great. It is very thick and very heavy. Quality is excellent. Very firm no give at all I am in my third week and now used to it. It is firmer than I thought as five minutes in a shop is not the same as a whole night sleeping on the mattress. I feel reassured that I have no synthetic unnatural fibres in this mattress.

Very happy with my purchase. The mattress is firm but still has enough give for a really comfortable night's sleep. It is extremely firm. A topper would keep the underlying strength of the mattress but add a comfort without detracting from this.

Lovely mattress just a bit too firm for us, we've changed it for a slightly softer one on the comfort exchange offer. Appears really well made though and doesnt collapse at the sides or wake the better half when you roll out of it in the middle of the night for that inevitable wee. (If you're over 50 or drunk)

Taking some getting used to as very firm, but definitely more comfy then our old mattress,, only one problem as needs to be turned or rotated weekly. For 3 months. Swivelling round is easy, but really heavy to turn over. Even for 2 of us ( pensioners). Though we do just about manage.

This is an extremely firm mattress. It should be labelled as a specialised mattress for a niche clientele. Absolutely no movement, hard as concrete. It is a shame we had to return it as we liked the wool/natural filling and the mattress is decent quality overall and was affordable.

Pretty hard, taking a while to get used to it. Chemical smell first three days gave us a headache. Thats passed now and getting used to firmness 2 days in. Back is more supported though
