We bought the trundle bed especially for the grandkids bedroom but it would also be used for friends visiting. The bed is a good size for children and adults and has now been utilised on several occasions. Both adults who used the main bed reported they had a good sleep and found the mattress comfortable. The girls did a sleepover and as the trundle bed was the same height also very comfortable they gave the beds two thumbs up!

These are great beds well made and able to take a very good thick mattress on top of both when away. They sleep two large adults (18 stones) with out any problems at all and in comfort, we use them mainly for the Grandchildren but also when we bigger family ti stay for a week or so. You get what hou pay for with these beds. We already gad very good mattresses so only git the bases. You're well rested in the mornings as well afterca hreats night sleep. Just dont go jumping all over them okay. They asseccable easy for making up and putting away we leave the sheets on ours when away but quilt and pilloes are put back in thier bag at the bottom of the wardrobe in the spare room. 10 out of 10 Dreams thanks.

We had looked for a single bed with trundle bed for a while but found the trundle bed of those available were narrower and shorter then the top bed. We were delighted when we came upon yours. It offers a queen size double or two 3ft singles. In addition we were given a choice on the mattress quality. The overall quality and comfort is excellent. We are now able to offer great accommodation for our friends and family whilst freeing up the room by reverting back to a space saving single when our small granddaughter comes to stay. Excellent!

Bought this bed for my daughter and she has her friend sleep most weekends so the guest bed is perfect. My daughter has to share her small bedroom with her sister so when the guest bed is out they put all of the beds together to make one big bed!! They do look comfy. I would definitely recommend this bed easy to put the guest bed up and down and the delivery team were fantastic. I have narrow stairs so was tricky getting it up but the two guys never gave up and did it without any damage to the bed or property. Thank you Dreams

The ordering of the bed, delivery all went without a hitch and staff were helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was the fold-up bed is not level, so at the one end of the bed the mattresses are level and at the other they are not, and it it quite a noticeable difference so I'm disappointed about that. I was going to report the problem but decided not to as then collecting the bed is a problem when you work. It would have meant taking a day off as it would have been done at the companies convenience, not ours.

Just what we needed, two single beds, which can be pushed together if required, for adult guests and two trundle beds for child visitors. The trundle beds can be at floor level but with proper mattresses when the children are little ( they are currently 2 x 2 years and one aged 5 months), and at proper bed height when they're older courtesy of fold out legs. The quality of the beds mattresses and headboards is very good for the price, all very comfortable.

I needed to turn a single room into a double and quickly! I just ordered the base, as I already had 2 single mattresses. It was delivered quickly and on time. The double bed works perfectly - is solid and takes my 62, 14 1/2 stone son and his girlfriend easily. I cant comment on the durability as we havent had it long, but so far so good.

Bought this a few weeks ago for my son as he had outgrown his other bed. It was easy to assemble (took less than 20 minutes). The mattress I bought is 25cm deep (will need to get a thinner mattress for roll out), which makes the bed seem quite high but my son, who is only 5, has no problem getting in and out of it. He loves his new bed.

This is an excellent frame at an even more excellent price. The fact that you can use a standard single mattress on both the main bed and the guest pull out were what sold it to us. I bought this Divan base couple of weeks ago for my 13 year old son. He is pleased, it looks good and he can use the base underneath when his friends stay over. I'm not sure about the divan stand, it does not look very stable but as I said we only had it for a month so we will wait and see. Overall we are happy with it

Great occasional bed. Space saving single bed that can be turned into double by easily pulling out lower bed. Lower bed matress can be seen but easily covered by a long cover on the single bed. Might be a good idea for dreams to add a flap of fabric to underside of top bed to cover lower bed when using as single.

Initially looking for a sofa bed but all were so expensive and offered a only a narrow double. This is much better offering flexibility in configurations. Stored pushed up against the wall with scatter cushions and a throw making it like a large couch too. And Is quite sturdy too.

Not a bad price, but I'd question the longevity of the fabric. One of the only beds that came in under 199cm (we have an alcove and was limited on length). The trundle is easy to operate, simple in design. Be mindful with the mattress height for the trundle.

The feet on the base are so small that they dig into the carpet. This makes it impossible to slide the bed around and also leaves deep indentations into the carpet.

Answer: The trundle bed base is a timber frame with wooden slats covered with a greyboard (similar construction to the divan and ottomans), I see no reason why an airbed could not be used with it, however we would always recommend a standard mattress be used.
