My wife and I are thrilled with our mattress. We spent a few hours in store looking at alternatives. This one was ideal and was on the list recommended by SleepMatch. The quality of the mattress is visible in the construction and in the comfort. I have not had a wool mattress before, but we are unlikely to go back. We have had this mattress for more than 6 weeks now and our sleep is better than our previous hybrid. It gives us a warm cuddle when we get in. In the recent hot weather. We have found the mattress does a great job of keeping us cool. We have also had some cold nights and the mattress is warm when you need it to be. The rotating of the mattress every couple of weeks is simple and straightforward and will increase the life. One key benefit I noticed when I tried the mattress was the firmness of the mattress edge. In some pocket mattresses, the edge of the mattress collapses, this one has firm edges and supports an edge sleeper and maximises the available sleep space and the amount of adults and children you can fit comfortably. I highly recommend this mattress.

Bought 2x mattresses as a full Superking mattress is to big to go up my stairwell High quality nice well made pocket sprung bed Ordered Extra firm for my back which is good Only problem I have is wher you zip em together it seems to be an indent after you put the fitted sheet on and when Im in bed it feels like the mattress is sinking on the one edge and I find myself rolling towards it. I think i will have to get a topper Mattress cover, to see if this solves the problem otherwise Im stuffed !!!

The mattress is very comfortable and supportive, the top layer contours into your body and you feel fully supported with no pressure points. The support is the same whether sleeping on your back or side. Since replacing the mattress my husbands neck pain has mostly disappeared. I really like the support offered by this mattress as it is both comfortable on initially lying down, and also during a whole night sleep. I suffer with lower back pain myself and find that any mattress that allows my bum to sink in too much cause's a spinal alignment which is painful after a few hours. We took a good while choosing our mattress. Comfort obviously was the main component but natural materials and what could be recycled at the end of its life were high on the list. This Flaxby mattress covered all these areas. More pricey than the synthetic fibers but definitely worth it. Another bonus was that it was handmade to order in Britain. Highly recommend!

I cannot fault this very firm mattress. We chose the zip and link for access to our bedroom via a very tight staircase. The mattress is extremely sturdy and supports us both well, preventing any movement when your partner rolls over or moves position. We don't experience any overheating, and have a better quality of sleep.

I ordered the very firm variety and was told there would be a delay in delivery as Flaxby have to actually make the mattress to those specifications. It was well worth the wait. I used to sleep on left side of bed and eventually mattress sank down on that side. When I noticed it became deformed in 6 moths time of using it- I started to sleep on right side to make it sink in alignment. But it did not work. Have had it for 1.5 year. Quite firm as well but that is a taste preference.

I have only given 2 stars as the mattress didn't come in a factory sealed plastic cover, it doesn't say which side is firm and which extra firm, it doesn't say which is the sleep side. We are concerned this may have been the showroom model, which given the price of this mattress would not be acceptable.

Had this mattress for 20 months and the top quilting has completely collapsed on both sides, all you can feel now is the springs. I'd attempt to claim on the 7yr warranty but let's face it, it's a mattress, proving it's not your own fault is a fruitless endeavour. What a waste of cash.
