The TEMPUR® Sensation Elite mattress enhances the experience you normally get from a standard bed, giving you additional sensitive support and comfort through additional layers of memory foam that aid the sleep experience.

This mattress is composed of a dynamic support layer which adds a great degree of support while being able to recover from compression much quicker than traditional memory foam mattresses with lower quality spring systems. The result is that you can move about on this mattress without impacting your partner, but also, without feeling constrained yourself as you do so.

The CoolTouch cover included as the outer layer of this mattress is what really helps it stand out. Typically, memory foam can be seen as a material that heats your body up and causes you to sweat. In an effort to combat this, the CoolTouch material is cool to the touch and helps absorb all the excess heat that would normally build up while you sleep helping you remain cool while helping to ensure that the mattress remains fresh for longer.

Positive reviews have a lot to say but it's all largely around the same sort of thing. Customers are delighted with the comfort, loving the unique Tempur support material that you won't find in other mattresses. Another mention is how hugging the memory foam layer is, giving you a cocoon of deep comfort that, thanks to the CoolTouch, doesn't get you too hot.

Negative reviews are what we've come to expect in the industry, tension continues to catch a few people out with the firm comfort grade. I've personally tried this one in store and I don't think this carries too much weight, we found the tension to be bang on as what we have come to expect from a firm tension and one that looks to be a great buy.

OK, so having broken my back 40 years ago, Ive spent a fair chunk of my disposable income on different mattresses and beds, latex, pocket sprung, Vi-Spring - you get my drift. Sadly, none of these gave me exactly the correct amount of support in the places where this was crucial to getting a peaceful, restful and refreshing nights sleep. Fast-forward to our visit to Dreams at Plympton. Joy of joys! No pressure, no salesperson hovering over us as we tried to adopt unrealistic sleeping poses. Just oodles of time to lie down, turn and try out each mattress (after first addressing our mattress needs using Dreams wonderful mattress assessment technology. We spent hours (no really, over 3 hours) testing our final three mattress choices. These were soon whirled down to a leading favourite and a strong contender. After a delicious complimentary cup of excellent coffee, it was back to the rigours if serious testing. This one had everything we wanted: more importantly, despite my best efforts, I couldnt find a single flaw with this mattress (and I went shopping armed with an extensive Nit-Pick list). So there you have it. In my humble opinion, this is probably the worlds best mattress. Expensive? Nothing like the cost of my last mattress which was a Vi-Spring. Youll spend one-third of your life on a mattress, so dont skimp on the testing nor the price and buy this mattress - it will be one of the best no-risk investments youll ever make.

After a lot of deliberation and sleepless nights, my wife and I decided to take the plunge on Tempur. We were initially put off by the high price, but I would say it is certainly worth the investment for a good night's sleep. I could not speak higher of this mattress. . We tried a number of mattresses within the Tempur range and found this to be instantly the best for both comfort and support. (That's not to say the others were no good). Now for the lowdown on the product: The mattress is certainly good at keeping us cool. (Incidently the cooling cover is unique to Dreams, so another reason to purchase from Dreams). Writing this review in the 30 degrees heat, we both have had no problems in sleeping in the recent hot weather. The mattress at first felt at first rather soft (which is not to either of our liking) but the support is second to none. The Dreams bed test actually confirmed that we both preferred medium rather than firm. Whicih was certainly an eye opener and made our decision on such a premium product. Definitely recommend Tempur, certainly this model for ourselves and most definitely from Dreams. Excellent choice, by far one of the best purchases I have made! Mr & Mrs V, Solihull

I was initially a little pressed to select the Sensation Elite and the Sensation extra firm from Dreams. We found the extra firm, which weve always preferred, made it hard to move about with more resistance and actually had a little more roll together problem. The Sensation Elite minimises roll together a lot, and so much better than other non-Tempur mattresses. I love the top cover and that soft depress but firm and slower bounce-back. After a couple of weeks of use, my shoulder pains are gone. I no longer wake up with shoulder pains. My back pains are mostly gone, all I have now is muscular pain, which I presume is from the adjustment. I trialled 2 other bed in a box brands and both gave terrible back pain as they were all medium or medium firm ie. Too soft for me. My partner is not so sure, she likes it but there is something she doesnt like although I cant figure out what. What I would like to see for this kind of money, which should be essential; 1.Add handles on all 4 sides. It was very difficult to manoeuvre it without. This seems standard on many other mattresses. 2.Add some edge strengthening so it gains some composure when you sit on the edge.

Whilst this is an expensive mattress, it is worth every penny. Having always had pocket sprung mattresses in the past, I was sceptic about switching to a memory foam mattress. Whilst the initial experience is something that you may not be accustom to, it only took a day or two to before getting use to the different (but nice) feeling when lying on the bed. Whether you lie on your back or side, your body profiles into the mattress with ease, but without getting that sinking feeling (I opted for a firm mattress). The "CoolTouch" layer on the mattress does appear to truly regulate your body temperature - initially the mattress feels cool and with time, it gets warmer to your own body temperature without getting uncomfortable. The "Cooltouch" layer (unique to Dreams) was one of the main reason (comfort being the other) for purchasing this mattress. The only downside to this mattress is that it has no handles around the sides to allow you to lift and rotate the mattress. The mattress is heavy, but it is possible to rotate it with two people - if this minor inconvenience (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is not a major concern to you, I definitely recommend this mattress.

After 30 years of insomnia with neck, shoulder and back pain and just "putting up with it" after spending 100s on "revolutionary" pillows and mattresses we'd had enough. Went to Dreams on bank holiday Monday and left feeling ill at spending so much on another matress! But I thought at least we have 100 nights risk free if it didn't help. It arrived super fast on the Saturday and I can not stress the incredible affect it has had on our lives......it literally moulds to you the minute you lay down (lightly to feel comfortable) it has stopped my constant tossing and turning and supports my joints and I can actually put my feet straight onto the floor without pain in my ankles and feet as I've had for the last 2 years on our EVE mattress. I am 81 and have a very bad back. I suffer massively with back pain and always struggled to sleep at night. My son took me for a session on the sensor bed at Dreams. I struggled to walk the 20yds from car to store and had to restart the session multiple times due to chronic back pain. John (Dreams salesman) was so understanding and patient. The mattress we chose was the one suggested by the Dreams sensor test bed. It was delivered 31/12/22. Within two days I was transformed (not cured but majorly improved). I stand up straighter and sleep through the night. I dont get the same pain levels as before and can get out of bed much easier. My son took a video of me walking and gave it to the manager and salesman at Dreams Rotherham. The manager thought the salesman was winding her up until my son confirmed the facts behind it. This new mattress and the service received from Dreams has literally been life changing for me. My son pushed me to spend money on a good mattress and I am so grateful that I did. 10/10 for this mattress and the whole experience from start to finish.

After deciding to look for a new mattress (our existing one was 10 years old, and we both suffer from lower back pain), we took a wander around the showrooms.... We made the 'mistake' of trying a Tempur fairly early in our 'lie-to-try' test, and nothing else compared..... We've always had pocket sprung mattresses in the past, and found those more comfortable, but after trying v costly pocket sprung mattresses, the Tempur was still far more comfortable. Far and away more comfy than the other (cheaper!) memory foam / hybrid mattresses too, and the difference was quite marked. Takes a little getting used to the sensation of the foam moving around as you settle into position, but worth it. I used to wake up with back stiffness every morning, but not had it since getting this. Big benefit in not needing to turn the mattress too - these things are heavy, so a good thing to avoid. Cooltouch makes a definite difference for heat control too. Although costly, we figured that we spend 25-30% of our lives on this, and if it can save on the bad back, it's def worth it.

We went in to the Dreams store in Inverness to look for a new mattress. The staff in the store were very helpfull but not at all pushy. We found a new mattress that we liked, but decided to go away and think about it as it was a lot of money, even in the sale. We decided to buy a new bed base and mattress, both of which we had viewed in the Inverness store, but ordered it online from Dreams. Again service was excellent and we were kept updated of the progress of our order up until it was delivered. The two delivery people were very good with them both wearing carpet protectors on their feet even though we said they didn't need to. We opted to put the bed together ourselves and instructions were very clear and the bed went together very easily. The bed base is very solid and well built. The mattress is without doubt the most comfortable mattress I have slept on, and although expensive well worth the money Overall great service, great bed & mattress which has led to some great nights sleep

I ordered this mattress in super king size after trying it in store and cant be happier with this decision. It definitely improves my sleep a lot. The mattress is super comfy and supports my back and shoulder very well. I notice since I slept on this new mattress ( over 2 weeks now), I no longer waking up in the middle of the night but can sleep for 6-7 hours straight. I used to have sleeping disorders like randomly screaming or talking while sleeping as well as having nightmares. It really bothers my partner a lot. Bought a kingsize medium Tempur mattress several weeks ago. I am used to sleeping on medium coil sprung mattress with soft pillow top so thought memory foam might take some getting used to. But was all comfortable from the first night and ever since then. Glad I did not buy the softer Tempur mattress, as this would have been too deep & restrictive when changing position. The medium mattress I bought gently moulds to body contours after a few seconds, supporting the small of the back when sleeping on my back, and also soft and supportive of hip joints when side sleeping. Easy to turn over in bed. Good for sitting on the side of the bed, easy to get up from. I am an active 58 year old with mild curvature of the spine and tender joints.I anticipate this mattress taking me into older age well.

When ordering I was a bit reluctant spending almost 2 grand on a mattress. But with the mattress being suggested by the sleepmatch in store (when they were still open and the piece of mind of being able to exchange thanks to the dreams 40 night comfort guarantee I decided to take the leap. I bought one of these mattress to see if I would have pain areas on my body. Where ever my body touched became tender due to the fact I suffered from Fibromyalgia. This mattress moulds to your own body and not where your body just touches as with other mattresses. It's nice to have a comfortable sleep and wake up without tender areas on your body. I still only get 4 hours sleep and that's down to the pattern of sleep I have been getting for years. My hours of sleep seem to be getting longer and more of a deep sleep because of this mattress. Premium Memory foam is a very popular and luxurious mattress layer to aid in comfort.
