I am coming up to four weeks now with the mattress. Its a medium 25inch and Ive been mostly used to latex (medium soft) which lasted many great years. Ive tried multiple memory foam mattresses over the years on another bed in the house and sent most back including an early version of Tempur. This is better than that in terms of support but I am struggling a bit with it still and whilst some aches and pains are settling others have appeared, particularly around hips and shoulders which is odd. Im very slowly getting used to it I think but not enjoying it yet. I also dont like the squidgy edges if needing to sit on the side of the bed briefly and need more support there. I miss the bounce of latext. I find Im constantly rolling from one side of this mattress to another as the sinking and dipping doesnt suit me terribly well and get sore etc even though I like to feel supported. Im a long standing side sleeper but find myself going into recovery position towards my stomach to get comfortable. I have a Simba (medium) also at home which is taking a long long time to settle (years with mainly occasional use) too firm for me but is more supportive around the edges and dont feel I have to roll around as much. I wouldnt put my elderly mum on this Tempur with her orthopedic needs as she would struggle with the wearing in and squidgy sides. Also almost impossible to move the mattress to check under the base etc. Given it a 3 for now as Im not as wowed with it as I thought it would be after trying it in the showroom (which is not the same as spending a few hours on it). Jury is out on it for now anyway and I may not have the best depth for me or Ill be heading back for a latex mattress!

This was our 3rd mattress from Dreams, having exchanged the previous 2 under the 100 night comfort guarantee. The previous 2 were sprung mattresses with various topping layers and had given me awful back problems. We had tried this Tempur one when looking for the 2nd mattress but went away from it due to the cost and worries about being too hot, but the assistant directed us back towards it when we appeared again! We decided to go for it and have not regretted it ever since. We have both slept so well on it since the first night. The feeling of sinking into the mattress does take some getting used to as well as the feeling of remoulding that happens when you move or turn over. You can feel the foam reshaping to your new position but it only takes a second or 2. My husband was worried about being too hot on the mattress but has only felt overly hot once or twice through the whole summer and that was on nights when it was really hot anyway, at normal temperatures we have both been absolutely fine. We have now had this mattress almost 100 nights and there is no way we are letting anyone take this one away! Worth every penny.

I never would have considered a mattress like this before because it is bit pricy but we really wanted something really comfortable as a good nights sleep was really needed! We weren't pressured into buying this mattress and were certainly encouraged to try some cheaper options but we just wanted to get a mattress we were truly comfortable with. We made a concentrated effort to consider the comfort based on our normal sleeping positions which this mattress stood out to be the best option for both myself and my wife. We have now experienced just one nights sleep on it and already we are very impressed with how much difference it has made. We both had a really good nights sleep and woke up in the morning with none of the usual aches and pains we'd often experience with our old mattress.

Even after one night, there was a marked difference in how both our bodies felt getting out of bed the next morning. Not feeling like we had spent the night fighting to find the best position to let our bodies recover and refresh from everyday movements. The purchase of our new tempur mattress was the best decision me and my partner have ever made and has lead to us both having a much more comfortable, deeper and restful sleep. I have had this mattress about 3 weeks now. At first I hated it. It was very dense. My chest felt like it was cramping when I slept on it, but oddly no back pain in the morning! My back felt great. After some research, it appears that the pain I was feeling while sleeping was my back re-aligning. It was the worst 2 weeks sleep of my life. HOWEVER, I get over those 2 weeks and the bed has softened and it is the most amazing mattress to sleep on. Super comfy. No issues. I am glad we bought it now. Side note: hubby never had any issues with the mattress, it was comfy from the start with him, but he is about double my weight. I am thinking, with him being heavier, he sank into the mattress more, whereas I didn't, hence mattress felt dense to me at first.

After sleeping on a cheap dreams mattress for the last 3 years we definitely wanted an upgrade. We got used to waking up with headaches, body aches and still being tired. However since having our tempur we now look forward to going to bed! Me and my partner are different weights and very different sleepers and this mattress is perfect for the both of us. Its the most comfortable mattress weve ever had! I dont think people realise how important a good mattress is and while the price is on the high side its worth the cost just to feel refreshed when you wake up with no aches and pains we also bought the matching pillows and they are equally as good as the mattress! Dreams Derby Meteor Retail Park was our first port of call when looking for a new mattress. We were served by the extremely helpful Adam, and initially tried a number of mattresses after Adam suggested analysing what was best for us using their Sleep Match software. When we tried this particular mattress it just felt perfect. Its firm, pleasantly cool and gently moulds to our sleeping positions. It also requires no periodic end to end or flipping of the mattress at any time to preserve the integrity of the mattress. Thats a welcome bonus as far as we are concerned. Having now had the mattress for a few weeks, we are delighted with this purchase.

We only went in to the shop to see what was available but the minute we tried the Tempur mattress it literally sold itself. The sales assistant was very knowledgeable and helpful but as i said, from the moment we tried the mattress we knew it was exactly what we wanted but moore so, needed. I can honesty say that from night one of sleeping on it my back pain eased dramatically, and after nearly a month now , I wake up virtually pain free which is an absolute god send , we cannot recommend these magical mattresses highly enough, especially as they come with a 100 night gaurantee , in which time you can swap it if its not right for you.

I was replacing a 12 yr old Tempur cloud mattress and attended the local showroom to test out various temper mattresses for firmness. The medium mattress in the showroom was nothing like the mattress that arrived. We've got used to it, partly because I knew I wanted a new tempur. Anyone not knowing what to expect would find the comparison disappointing and probably lead to a return. Not sure what the solution is but salespeople should at least point out that these mattresses are not representative. I do find the mattress 'cool', not something I noticed in the older version but let's see what the summer months are like.

The mattress takes some getting used to when first used as despite a medium, it always feels very firm when first getting on. However my sleep seems to have improved, no longer waking in night and being too uncomfortable to get back to sleep. The mattress returns to its original shape very quickly after getting off it. So far so good. Only time will tell how long this continues successfully (I have spent several years trying to find a comfortable mattress, ending up replacing after about 4 years and still within warranties) so for this reason I am providing 4 stars.

The mattress is so supporting yet soft. I have had back problems for quite some years and since having this mattress the pain has alleviated. My wife has hip pain and found our old mattress to push back and cause discomfort and she couldnt sleep on that side. Since purchasing the tempur she can now sleep on that side and has also said that she now has a deeper sleep without tossing and turning. It is such a comfy mattress. Very happy with it even though it was expensive. Worth every penny though for the amount of time you spend in bed.

I chose the medium/soft tempur mattress as chisen by the in store bed tester. Since I've had the bed, I haven't had a bad night sleep. My partner, who gets chronic headaches due to an old neck injury, hardly gets headaches anymore. I wake up with no back or leg pain anymore. When my partner gets into bed after catching up on the football (which bores me to tears, so i go to bed), he doesnt disturb me at all! There is no bounce to the bed, no creaking of springs and no trouble to get comfortable. The bed is brilliant!

Excellent bed, couldn't be more comfortable! Not hot at all even in this very hot weather. Not having to turn the mattress too is a plus. Really comfortable mattress that you sink into as it moulds to your body. Not sure if the cooling technology really works - it feels cold to the touch but when you are actually sleeping in it, I actually think it made me feel warmer/hotter than our last mattress (My wife loves it - I like it) Needed at least 1-2weeks to air out the chemical smell from the memory foam (and we had to wash the sheets every 2nd day as they absorbed the smell also. But generally positives outweigh the negatives.

Expensive but worth it! we walked into Dreams determined not to spend more than a thousand pounds on a new mattress but after trying the Tempur mattress it was absolutely fantastic and so comfortable we ended up spending double that but it was totally worth it. We are in our 60s and my wife suffered with a uncomfortable hip pain whilst sleeping! Gone! I always woke up with lower back pain! Gone. So! Expensive but worth it i would definitely recommend spending the money if you can afford it.

We have not had a memory foam mattress before and when we tested the Tempur one we were pleasantly surprised. The Salesman that helped us in DREAMS was excellent and guided us through without being pushy. We have had the mattress a couple of months now and found that we don't Toss and Turn like we used to and provides the support that we need in all the right places. It does take a little getting used to as we have always had a pocket sprung mattress but we are really happy with it.

Would absolutely recommend this matress. I suffer with fibromyalgia and for the first time in years I am able to get a good night sleep. It is so comfy and it supports the body exactly where you need it to. The service in dreams was amazing too. Sarah who served us was so helpful and made made us feel comfortable and easy. The staff in the Braintree store were so helpful they went above and beyond to make sure we found our perfect bed. The guys who delivered it were so helpful and super happy and nothing was too much for them. So we have now slept a few nights in our new bed and wow is all I can say we had gone from struggling to get 6 hours a night to now having to use an alarm clock. We were definitely matched with the right bed even our aces and pains have massively reduced.

Slightly disappointed with this mattress. It felt right when tried in the store, but havent found it to be very comfortable at home. Trying to adjust and giving it the time to see if my body is going to get the rest and less aches . It hasnt kept me cool. Using cotton sheets as normal , couldnt use anything else. I have a mattress protector maybe thats causing it not too be smart cool wouldnt make a bed without a protector for hygiene.

After a few weeks use it seems to be very comfortable, I have no bad backs. I did not agree with the diagnostic machine in the shop that said I should have a hard setting. We chose medium. Main disadvantages -- enormously expensive, you could get a car for the same money. Very heavy, had to pay extra to get delivery to the bed. It takes a while for the cold matress to assume the room temperature, duning this transition it remains hard.

I have had a number of Mattresses over the years but this has to be the best ever. I know this sounds sad but I actually love getting into bed. Although its a cool mattress, it keeps your body heat at the right temperature. I would never go back to a normal one even if it had bells and whistles on. Yes the mattress is pricey but It has a ten year guarantee. I get the best nights sleep ever, so It's been worth every penny.

2 weeks on my new tempur mattress.. from the first night alone i had a change of sleep pattern.. i slept all the way through as appose to waking around 3am every night, i had it due to lower back problems, i wake with less pain than before also suffered a lot sweating through the night.. that has been eliminated, so far so good with this mattress, from my experience.. i would recommend!

We've been thinking about a Tempur for a while and it was finally time to take the plunge. It's amazing! I love how it just absorbs movement so my partner and I don't wake each other up. Ive slept on many mattresses but always never really entertained the idea of purchasing a Tempur Mattress, but I did and it was the best decision Ive made. The memory foam within really does support every part of the body and it made a massive improvement on my posture, I dont feel any neck or back pain when waking up. Felt too firm as first, but that's because it's a different type of mattress (no springs!). Once you lay on the mattress it seems to form around you, giving a bit here and there, creating a perfect support to an excellent night's sleep. Not sure ...yet. Needed to try something different. We slept on this mattress for 3 weeks. My husband found it quite comfortable but I did not, it felt very hard and gave me upper back pain. We have put a topper on it and it feels much better and I now sleep quite well. I must be honest and say I had hoped it would be better than it is for the money.

Tempura pro air smartcool simply very unsure I see no evidence what so ever that this is more cooling than any other mattress I've purchased . The memory foam aspect appears to be good and it retains it's shape but being fully transparent I've seen no evidence at all about it being cooler than any other mattress especially given how expensive it is

Previously I had a Hypnos bed which was so uncomfortable only had it one year. I was waking up in the morning in horrendous back pain. A friend recommended a new Tempur Pro So I went to dreams tried it out and was sold. Its the most comfortable bed I have ever had. Especially as I suffer from spinal stenosis. Would recommend.

After four weeks I am getting use to the mattress seems to help with my back problem. But I have to disagree with the air smart cool, It does not feel cool at all, so I am disappointed with that as I was looking forward to feeling cool at night. Bear in mind it is winter so it dread to think what it will be like in summer.

Takes a while to get used to but now finding the mattress comfy...but it is so slippery! The fitted bedsheet moves about so much that it wrinkles up and makes it uncomfortable for me. Checked reviews elsewhere and it seems to be a common complaint. Such a lot of money that this issue should have been designed out by now.

The mattress is the comfiest thing i have ever slept on. It feel like you are on a cloud. However only 4 stars as the cooling doesn't seem to work for us, the mattress does get really warm but we still want to keep it as it is so comfy and cant think there is a better one out there. I would just ignore the cooling part.

Desperately needed a new bed, with the help of everyone in the Trafford Dreams store we ended up landing on a Tempur mattress. Took a bit of time to get used to but now finding it very comfortable. The one we tried in the shop seemed softer, but that may be because quite a few people have tried it. One thing which was not mentioned when we bought it was that you should not use hot water bottles, which should be part of the selling procedure.

This is a very supportive mattress, I have not had back ache on waking up in the mornings since we have purchased this. It takes a little while to get used to the lack of springiness on getting up off the bed, but thats more than compensated for by the support it gives and the comfort of waking up not aching.

Excellent mattress, cooling works well, would not use any other make, this is our second one and can definitely recommend for anyone who wants a good nights sleep and doesnt mind paying for what you get. Tempur mattress takes some getting used to. Opted for the medium firmness. 4 weeks in it never fails to surprise when you first sit on and lay down but its comfortable after a few moments, and Ive been sleeping well. Feels very supportive. Tempur is different to any sprung mattress Ive ever had.

This bed is absolutely amazing very comfortable. My girlfriend has long term neck and back injury from a very severe car accident she used to find it hard to sleep and her old mattress meant she woke up in a lot more pain, now her pain is improved and she is able to get a much better night sleep!

There is no doubt that this memory foam mattress gives great support to all my joints. However, as the foam moulds to your body shape it does make it difficult to roll over or change position. I'm not returning it but I think I would go back back to springs next time.

Unbelievably comfortable to lie on. Genuinely sink into it. My husband describes it the actual feeling of relaxing. However, it is very hot- we have had it a month and only just getting used to it but are a little worried about summertime. Hopefully we'll adjust.

Really good quality mattress and would be amazing for most people but I can't get used to the foam that adjusts to your body. My brain can't relax with it adjusting as you move. Besides that its comfortable for non fidgeters and pairs well with the tempur pillows

It is so comfortable. It is very different to your standard mattress, so it takes a little bit of time to get used to it. For example, there are no springs, so when getting out of bed it doesn't aid you, it feels like it is inviting you to stay in bed!!

Very comfortable mattress, but so slide that sheets dont stay on for more than 30 minutes. We tried several models, but in the end only sheet straps did the trick. Fiddly to but on as you have to lift every corner of the heavy mattress up.
