Oakland Single Wardrobe

This was a disappointment. The single wardrobe was chosen especially for the guest room as it is small but with enough storage space for the weekend or even the week visitor. The delivery people were excellent and unpacked and took away all the packaging, but I then discovered that the wardrobe was in 7 different pieces which was surprising as I had only expected 2 parts as the website states 2 packages. It took about an hour for two of us to put the parts together without too much difficulty and the wardrobe looks smart, however the inside base of the wardrobe is of inferior wood and in my case it was very rough and slightly damaged around one of the screw holes. Cotswold offered to replace the whole wardrobe rather than just the one part but I accepted a damage reduction as I wanted the wardrobe to match other Oakland furniture in the room.

Nice piece of furniture. Does come in a number of pieces (top comprises 4 separate sides plus top that is then bolted together and then attached to bottom section). This was ideal for us though as we selected specifically because we could not get fully assembled wardrobe up our stairs. Once built every bit as sturdy as pre assembled wardrobe. Instructions not great but we soon worked it out.

Does what it says on the tin. Lovely quality. just what we needed.Delivery -no fuss as per the arrangements.Minor issue with self assembly which was dealt with efficiently.Very good after sales response. Looks great but very annoyed it had to be assembled. We didnt know this and werent told by the shop assistant. Delivery man told us he couldnt assemble it as it wasnt on the delivery note, however as we had bought in store assembly should have been free. We had to pay a joiner!!

I was happy with the delivery and the quality of the furniture but surprised by the amount of self-assembly required. This is particularly important as I am a single woman of 78. Consequently this piece of furniture is still not assembled until I can get help.

We couldn't find many single wardrobes of this kind to choose from but are delighted with this one. It was reasonably easy to assemble, seems sturdy and looks good. It was a fair price and was delivered on time with good communication from the driver.

Although this wardrobe looks great as yet it is still not fit for purpose as it arrived minus the hanging rail! Still waiting for it to arrive despite several phone calls and an email. Not great bearing in mind I paid extra for names day delivery.

I love this wardrobe. Its really solidly built and great value for money. Perfect for my occasional guest room. The whole shopping experience was smooth - a missing wooden rail was soon supplied by post.

Kept up to date with delivery. The delivery men were very efficient, pleasant and helpful. Pleased with the wardrobe and it fits perfectly in the space. Easy to put together even for us old folks.

This came flat packed, and apparently they will not assemble.I asked and paid for assembly but was told they do not do this.So they refunded the assembly fee and its still in the box.Poor service.

Arrived when I was told it would. Those who delivered it were very polite and helpful. Assemble was simple and as stated needed two people. The wardrobe was for our porch and fits perfectly.

So pleased with our wardrobe.Just what we wanted ,lots of storage room especially with the deep drawer.Delivery men were brilliant carrying boxes up to the bedroom.Great value and service!

Lovely solid good looking wardrobe. Difficult to put up as no instructions included , managed after 2 attempts. Handle to door fell off on first use but fixed easily as metal quite bendy

Lovely quality, instructions for assembly easy to follow, I have only one criticism. I found the use of alum key both awkward and laborious. Would much prefer to use a screw driver.

Excellent wardrobe, so good we bought another for a different room. Yo do have to pur the top bit together yourself but its quite simple. Looks great in the room.

Just the size we needed. Delivery people very helpful and careful. The dowels proved difficult to site, otherwise straightforward to assemble.

Nice finish and a sold sturdy wardrobe definitely need two prolific to put it together unless you are a handyman. But worth it in the end

Beautiful piece of furniture. Paid for it to be put together and it looks lovely with the rest of my Oakland bedroom furniture.

Bought with double wardrobe and chest of drawers to go with other Arts and Crafts style pieces. Top quality and perfect match.

Need some flat pack construction skills, but end result is solid and would be strong enough to take to a future new home.

Nice wardrobe, easy to put together (I did it on my own which I was quite proud of!) It's sturdy and well-made.

A good quality easy on the eye product, easy to assemble, delivered as promised, who could ask for more.

Easy to install, good size for a guest bedroom and seems to be good quality wood
