Did not notice at first( not until the two " delivery men" had left), the bottom of the bed there was a one inch gap where the two half's joined giving a over hang of one inch on the left hand side.
Took some photographs and popped down to the showroom. As always very helpful, appoligetic a d generally nice. They said they would contact their HQ and I should get a reply on the following Monday.
I had to ring them, long wait to answer the phone.
To cut a long story short they said they would replace the whole unit( their idea, not mine) and would be delivered in one weeks time.
As promised two very pleasant young men arrived, took one look at the bed, one minute later, fixed. The previous ("Abbot and Costello ")delivery men had not tightened the very large screw at the bottom of the bed.
Bit of a pain, as we had to move everything out of the bedroom and off the stairs.
One week in, everything looks ok.
It's a nice bed, stacks of space for storage, very pleased. The Durham staff and Dreams customer service have all performed well above expectations.
The store staff very pleasant, no hard sell, impressed.
