Burford Painted Tall 6 Drawer Chest

I'm really disappointed with the service this time after having brought a few products from the Cotswolds Company before without too much issue. The drawers came damaged which was the first disappointment. I sent pictures to the customer service to ask for someone to repair the damage. I then had to wait another week for someone to come and repair it. However they didn't repair the damage, instead they took photos of the damage as apparently they couldn't park for long enough. I then had to call the Cotswolds Company up twice to say the drawers still need to be fixed. Finally the repair company have called me back and the earliest they can come to fix it is in 2 weeks time. I ordered the product on April 25 and I won't be able to use the drawers until 5 June now...

Lovely quality, drawers not on runners which is a disappointment but I wasn't holding my breath they were going to be due to the VERY reasonable price and it doesn't state anywhere that they would be I was just living in hope. Drawers are very small and shallow, do not buy to house folded clothes they won't fit and if a garment touches the bottom side of the above drawer paint rubs off onto clothing. I am disappointed with my choice but only in myself for not researching the size of the drawers before purchasing, would have sent them back had I have had the inclination. Perhaps Cotswold could include dimensions of drawers on website?

Well protected by its packaging - although the parcel was hard work to lift and move upstairs as it has no carry handles. Even with two of us it was quite awkward to handle up the stairs. Drawers don't fit quite as tightly as this picture suggests . Its also not a deep as some tall chests so the drawers are quite limited as to what you can store in them, fine for knickers and socks, not so good for a T-shirt or nightclothes unless you want them scrunched up into a ball. But it fitted into a small space and overall we have been pleased with it.

Very pleased with the Burford Tall Chest and especially the delivery sequence which was very impressive. Delivery men phoned to say would be with me within the hour and arrived in approx. 30 minutes. Excellent service and value for money. Product was very well wrapped. I am very pleased with this product and would most certainly recommend The Cotswold Company to my family and friends and will be purchasing from them again.

I am very pleased with this narrow cream chest of drawers. It is exactly what I wanted and quality is very good. The Company and delivery service were very good and I even got my product earlier than originally requested in line with the free delivery...delivery excellent and all in all very satisfied and would most certainly use this Company again.

I love this furniture. I have this furniture through out my bedroom. Only issue was that when the first 5 units were delivered they were taken (very carefully I might add) upstairs to the intended room. This one was delivered to the entrance hall - when asked if they would take it upstairs they said no ! !

This narrow chest of drawers was exactly what I had been looking for. It fits in the shallow recess perfectly. It was delivered on time as specified, well packaged and protected and therefore in perfect condition. I would definitely buy other items from Cotswold and would recommend this company to everyone.

Amazing service from the delivery drivers to the item itself. We are all so extremley pleased with this drawer chest, beautifully made, the packaging was on point and did not damage the item in any way shape or form, loved the instructions which were written clearly and precise. I am very happy on the whole with this product. The only negative aspect is that the drawers are very loose and come completely out of the cupboard. Already I have nearly dropped the top drawer on the floor because it came out all the way. It would have been better to have a stopper preventing this.

Lovely chest of drawers. Drawers do have tabs to stop them coming right out. They are not deep front to back, but we particularly wanted a chest which did not stick out on landing, so was perfect for us. Finish good and packaging extremely good so arrived in perfect condition.

This was a nice neat chest of drawers which was ideal as we were limited for space, it is ideal for socks, underwear, t-shirts etc but because of its size (which was our choice) you wouldn't be able to fit in thick sweaters or large items. But is perfect for what we wanted.

Very pleased with my new bedroom furniture. Would be nice if the drawers had stoppers on them. Just have to remember not to pull the drawers out too far. Other than that, lovely furniture, well made, and I will be ordering some more bedroom furniture for my second bedroom.

Exactly what I wanted to fit a confined space in bedroom. However I ordered Ivory to try and match my existing bedroom furniture but the colour is nearer to white. I shall keep it as I like it. Good value for money as I was able to get quite a lot of bits and bobs in it.

Drawers just a little loose, gaps at sides just a tiny bit too big but at this price one doesn't expect a handmade craftsman quality. VERY VERY good value for money and with a little time spent to tweak drawers to centralise them in the gap it looks just fine.

Bought to compliment fitted wardrobes. Beautifully made, sturdy, finish is perfect and made from real wood, look beautiful in our new build home. Well packed. Delivered quickly. Delivery men so polite and helpful. Bought after sending for a free wood sample.

Very pleased with chest. Excellent quality and very good service. I am going to change the handles not because they are faulty but personal choice putting glass ones on. It's nice to be able to do that. I would recommend your company to my friends. 5 star

It looks amazing and fits beautifully in the area it was planned for. The only minus is the slightly rough bottom inside the drawers. A lining paper is needed. I was happy to get a discount. That brought the price down to value for money.

Great value for money in every way. Only problem lengthily delivery time. Was promised some recompense after delivery but not a word from the company delivery date was 19th December . Furniture is great shame about customer care.

I am very impressed with this whole range of furniture.After moving to a smaller house I needed bedroom furniture that fitted into a smaller space but looked good.This tall chest was just the job. Well made and of good quality.

This narrow chest fits very neatly into a corner space. The drawers are quite shallow - would have preferred 5 deeper drawers rather than the six with the overall height remaining the same. That said - still very useful.

Overall well satisfied with the product; only one problem was that it was delivered on a one-person status and was far too heavy for him alone to deliver to the apartment so I had to assist even though I am disabled.

Delivery was smooth. An elegant & delightful piece of furniture. The drawers are ideal for storing underwear which is what I made this purchase for. Overall very pleasing addition to our home.

Excellent quality at a competitive price. Lovely balanced and elegant design, yet practical in that it affords more storage space than it looks suggest. Thus it fits well into a smaller room.

We bought the tall boy because we were so impressed with the chest of drawers we decided to order the matching tall boy unit,we are equally impressed and delighted,a good quality product.

Just what I wanted.I am very pleased with build and look.I like the way that the drawers do not fall out when pulled too maximum.It is against a dark coloured wall so it stands out well.

The chest was damaged on arrival, crushed at one corner and noticeable. On contacting Cotswold company this was dealt with fairly efficiently and we have no complaints with the outcome.

great size, roomy draws and colour/style compliments the room beautifully. Would like draws to have runners however it is very sturdy and well made. Excellent delivery service too.

Good little chest very happy as I have been with the whole range. Works perfectly in the space we had for tidying away bits and pieces and finishing the look of the whole room.

Perfect for my hallway, looks smart and is a perfect store for my dog walking equipment as well as hats, scarves and gloves. Would be fine in a bathroom too.

The chest is well made and looks good. I'm a bit disappointed as the sales person confirmed that the drawers would be on runners but they are not.

Lovely chest, just disappointed that these units mark so easily on the top. I think I will revert to plain wood for my future orders.

Drawers are quite small and it wobbles a lot when opening and closing drawers, could do with a heavier bottom. Looks nice though.

Unfortunately the chest of drawers has some paint missing on the front edge. This should have been picked up in quality control.

Great. Good finish and a really useful size, it is not often that you get shallow depth drawer units but this fits perfectly.
