Burford Painted Double Wardrobe with Drawer

It is a very nice wardrobe and doesn't look cheap however, I would mention that it is not white, it is ivory and I didn't see that description on the product (may have missed it) so was a little disappointed. Observations are that the silver hinges are on the outside and aren't very attractive. Inside the joints show and this matters at the bottom where shoes for example would go. The wardrobe would benefit from a wooden panel to sit over the joints. The drawer is a little unstable and falls forward when taken out but not world changing.All that said, these are realistic comments for prospective buyers. The wardrobe is very easy to put together but you must have two people to lift the doors onto the base. I have always liked Cotswold goods and would buy again. PS Delivery driver had hard time finding us and wanted me to put him into my "Whatsapp" but I declined. He found us eventually.

Beautiful piece of furniture, larger than I thought it would be but it looks so classy. So easy to put together, the majority of it was preassembled and took no longer than 30 minutes fully assemble it. My only gripe is the drawer at the bottom as it is not on runners and feels like it is going to fall out but a sturdy piece of furniture and I love it. Already looking at other pieces in this range to finish my bedroom off. I was regularly informed of delivery times and it arrived at the beginning of my allocated delivery time slot so very pleased ??

Well made and finished product and as described on the website, order/tracking/delivery all problem free and delivered on time.Disappointed that the side of the wardrobe[see image] had minor damage so had to reposition the unit to the other side of the room to hide - also paid for package removal but not all was removed[Can only upload one image]Minor point - the internal c/sink holes could be supplied with caps[plastic] to cover up once the unit is assembled.

Really disappointed we bought this to match Burford gents wardrobe but found that it looks completely different style even the doors do not match.Thank you very much for leaving a review. Super happy with everything from start to finish. Second purchase from this company. Excellent communication, delivery men were fabulous ( took their shoes off to walk on my carpet) unpacked and took the packaging away. The wardrobe is beautiful and made of high quality wood and very easy to assemble. Im looking at what I need to replace next so I can buy more gorgeous furniture from the Cotswold Co. Highly recommend this company and this wardrobe.

Really great looking. However catches are v stiff so daughter can't open it easily on her own (age 4). Magnetic ones could be better. As catches so stiff door knob came off within a day. Have fixed with some shavings and super glue and seems to be working. Would also be great if you did it with two rails inside. We have put one in now. Does look great in her room. V pleased with it. Delivery excellent. Easy to put together.

Lovely piece of furniture, solidly built with a painted finish, deep drawer and rail. The delivery team were polite, thorough and considerate (it was 7 am) and made short work of getting the wardrobe up my steep winding staircase. They took just under an hour to fix the base and top peices to the main body and removed all packaging when they left. Very pleased overall and would recommend. A great experience all round.

Love the wardrobe, however I paid for assembly and the workmen took two chunks out of the wall next to where they assembled it, no idea how that would have happened. I noticed it before the men left but chose not to say anything as the workman was sweating profusely and didnt smell very nice so just wanted him to leave. I knew I could repair the damage myself.

Very nice design. Delivered safely to our bedroom. My husband then attempted to build the top part and discovered, as it was solid and heavy he needed to ask our neighbour to help him, so it needs 2 people to build it. The downside is, it has a strong painted woody smell and in spite of opening the doors and drawer to air it, a week later it is still there.

It's a beautiful looking wardrobe. I heard quite a few expletives when it was being put putting it together because pre-drilled holes were very difficult to get to once parts of the wardrobe were complete and my only gripe is that the drawer is very stiff to pull out and push back in but over all I'm very happy with the wardrobe.

Excellent service, only one comment is that the hanging rail is not circular and too deep. a lot of coat hangers won't fit on without bending the hooks or scraping the paint off the rail. I intend to either saw a strip off the bottom which will then need painting or fit a circular chrome rail (more expense} which won't.

Very pleased with the wardrobe, solidly built, one slight niggle, it smelt quite strong of 'lacquer'. Customer service were very helpful said the smell would go in a couple of days and it did! Well worth the cost to have it assembled. The delivery men were helpful and polite. Would highly recommend Cotswold. Thank you.

Excellent purchase; it's clean white lines fit our landing space perfectly ensuring the area has retained its light airy decor. It was useful that the main sections were already assembled however the addition of the sides would have benefitted from three pairs of arms... The finished item is very sturdy.

Extremely happy with our wardrobe. We also paid to have it assembled which was worth the small extra cost. The two guys who delivered and assembled the wardrobe were very quick and did an excellent job, they even took away all the packaging,.....brilliant service - thank you so much.

Very nice product, beware of delivery/build team who left our carpets in a filthy mess due to them "dragging" the boxes upstairs rather than carrying them, build was not totally completed and landing carpets were left strewn with polystyrene and cardboard.

A large item that comes in two heavy boxes and requires two people and an electric screwdriver to put together. Very well packed but this means a lot to dispose of unless you ask Cotswold to do this for you.

The wardrobe lives up to expectation.It was delivered in perfect condition and put together expertly by the men who delivered it.It was certainly worth paying the extra to have it fully assembled for us.

Excellent quality wardrobe. Very happy with it. Delivery guys were not great though. Pretty unhelpful, very grumpy and left mucky boot print all over my carpets. they did build the wardrobe well though.

Very happy with our new wardrobe! It's fantastic quality for the money, and very easy to put together. My only niggle is that the drawer isn't on a track, so when you pull it open it drops down.

Lovely wardrobe that looks great in our bedroom. I bought 2 and paid to get them both built which made it all very easy. Am already buying other pieces from this collection to add to our room.

Solid and weighty. Certainly needs two people to assemble and lift into position. Door catches make for noisy opening and closing. Better fitted with magnetic catches instead!

Furniture was delivered and assembled by 2 lovely guys. The wardrobes are solid and sturdy and Im really pleased with the quality. Would definitely recommend this company
