Sussex Painted 110-145cm Round Extending Table

The important thing for us about the Sussex table is that it is stylish and looks right in our kitchen. The light oak and cream mix of the table works perfectly with the other furniture in our new kitchen. The change from a rectangular table to a round table has been a major improvement. That said we have found that there is more leg-interference from the Sussex table (compared with that of a conventional rectangular table), partly because of the mechanism under the oak surface, and partly because of the four protruding support-legs of the table. It's a small point that comes inevitably with the design. One further point: we found the the table expanding-mechanism was very stiff at the start, and took some time to make it work at all. It's OK now. The table works well with the Bourton cream/green chairs. We are pleased that we bought the table and the chairs.

We live in the Loch Lomondside area and were a bit apprehensive about ordering from so far away but we need'nt have worried. From ordering to delivery this has been a 1st class service. They even took all the packaging away and I assembled the table in no time with the help of my better half.My wife and I are so glad we ordered the Sussex painted extending Oak table and the Westbury painted chairs which are a lovely contrast and close match.We are both delighted with this purchase and look forward to using the Cotswold Company again.Thanks to all involvedMr. & Mrs. Weir

We like it a lot! Very pleased with how it looks and is solid table to eat at. The extension mechanism is of excellent design & construction too. Owing to social distancing restrictions it could only be delivered to doorstep and not assembled in room as we had booked when ordering but the instructions were, on the whole, straightforward though as advised is 2 person job with second person helping lift table top in place & balancing it while central fixings are secured. Really good solid piece of furniture

Self assembly took about an hour including removing packaging. Needs two people to fit top to base because its quite heavy and a bit awkward. However once assembled it looks really good and is complemented by the Aster straight back leather chairs. It is quite chunky but I guess it has to be to be stable. Nice mechanism for converting to the larger size. Really pleased with this purchase, it looks great. Delivery was prompt and in alocated timeslot. Not cheap but good quality.

Unexpectedly have found where the two halves of the table coming together - that the inner edge on one of these of these straight members attached to the "semi circle"that small very thin elements of thin wood at the joint have started "spauling" leaving a dark brownish element which I suppose is glue.Please advise how correction to be completed.John Gartside 14, Bosworth Avenue, CV37 7RZ01789 269529

Very pleased with the table, it's excellent value for the money, the quality of the wood is excellent.Only thing we were not so pleased with, was delivery, the men were not very helpful as just wanted to drop and run.When we pointed out that we had paid for paper to be taken , they weren't to happy about it.We would certainly recomend your company as quality furniture..

Lovely table which looks fabulous in our living room. Unfortunately the left hand side of table does not fit together when fully extended. Table was assembled by your delivery men but unfortunately was not aware of this at the time of fitting. I signed for delivery of goods. Can you advise if you can do anything further to help rectify problem. Thank You

Looked everywhere for a table with an oak top and painted legs and finally stumbled across the Sussex painted range. Great table as its slightly larger than other round tables before extension so works perfectly for our family of four everyday and can open up when others come to visit, really happy with the purchase.

Very pleased with the table. It's a good, solid weight and looks good, with excellent finish. Having got the sample ahead of purchase I was able to check and confirm that the painted portion matched the colour of my kitchen units, which it does exactly. Having shopped around on price it's great value!

Love the table the delivery was on time however I paid the extra for the table to be assembled and I wasn't shown the mechanics of how the table pulled out and when we finally did there was still half the packaging inside so the table itself is value for money but the assembly wasn't

Initially there was unfortunately a small defect and we were immediately offered a full exchange which was arranged and completed within one week. The delivery guys were really helpful and professional. Really happy and would definitely buy again from Cotswold Company.

This table is beautifully made and really easy to use. I am really pleased with it. Sadly it took 5 months to arrive which was disappointing especially since I paid when I ordered it.

Again, as with the chairs we are very pleased with the style and quality of the table. But it took over 5 months from the date of order for it to be delivered to us!

Love the table. Beautifully crafted and easy to put together. Very sturdy with rubber inserts at the bottom of the feet so that our wooden flooring isnt scratched.

I live in a small Victorian Cottage and this is the ideal size for a small property. Extends to accommodate 6 people if required. Good quality and functional.

Initial table was delivered without a set of bolt holes drilled on the pedestal. Contacted Customer Care and replacement table was delivered within two days.
