Burford Painted Tall Slim Bookcase

I ordered a tall slim bookcase in the Burford range to add extra storage to our bedroom. Unfortunately it arrived,very well packed, just after I at 75 and my husband of 81 had gone into isolation because of the coronavirus!.We were then unable to ask anyone to assemble it for us. However we decided we would have a go ourselves. We covered the dining room table and assembled it on the table to save our knees crawling around the floor. It was so easy!! It was assembled and in place in no time and looks brilliant in the bedroom with our other Burford range wardrobes, chests etc. It is such strong well made furniture. Thankyou Cotswold Company. So disappointed with this bookcase. My mistake, just personal but it is much smaller than I expected & a bit 70s in design with the curved top. I would have preferred it at least 12 taller with a drawer at the bottom & at least 6cm wider. I was expecting a 60cm bookshelf but turns out it is only 54cm. I much prefer the design of the Burford Large bookcase. I have to say the description Tall Slim Bookcase is a bit misleading as it looks quite small.

This the second piece of furniture in this range that we have purchased and the quality and finished look of the bookcase is excellent. The unit was easily assembled and matched the wardrobe in our room perfectly. Would highly recommend this furniture range and could not fault the service supplied by Cotswold Co I would definitely use this company when considering any future purchases of home furnishings.

Another great purchase from The Cotswold Co. This bookcase, believe it or not, was for our bathroom which may seem unusual, but actually looks spectacular with baskets of linen and toiletries and the subtle ivory colour blends beautifully with our existing bathroom furniture. The bookcase was well packaged and delivery was very prompt.

Surprisingly spacious bookcase that fits well in our bedroom with our Malmesbury Bedside tables from Cotswold, despite the Malmesbury and Burford being different ranges. Relatively easy to assemble and takes up very little floor space. Pleased again with the purchase. Thank you!

Arrived in a large very heavy box, quite difficult to manoeuvre on my own but once I had laid it on the floor and removed all the packaging, it was relatively easy to put together and is a very smart addition to my other Cotswold furniture and fits perfectly on a narrow wall.

Lovely bookshelves. Solid good quality. Look very good in my lounge. Plenty of storage for slim bookcase so good if you don't have much space for larger styles. Assembly a little tricky but other than that, I would recommend. Will buy from this rang again.

This a beautiful piece of furniture the only disappointment is there are no white plugs to cover up the holes where the shelves are not fitted thus it reduces the quality and I think these should be part of the package as I have been unable to buy any.

The quality is very good and it looks great. The downside is that the website described it as "ivory" which I wanted as it would match other Cotswold items. Unfortunately it is quite a bright white so rather a disappointment from that point of view.

This is a lovely sturdy bookcase. It looks very good quality. I ordered it and it came three days later, on a day of my choosing. The delivery driver took the packaging away. I was only disappointed that he wouldn't take it upstairs for me.

Arrived as advised, very helpful driver ( Marco ) very well packed, and so easy to assemble really pleased and the amount of books it hold well it is like a tardis! Another great buy from the Cotswold company would recommend.

Good value product. Not quite as easy as I thought to put together but managed it in the end. Looks really super. Great service from start to finish from Cotswold.

Lovely looking piece of furniture - not sure that the top fits equally on both sides. Barely noticeable though. Plan on calling the company to see what they say.

I love this bookcase, it is lovely quality and it was simple to assemble although you need a screwdriver. It is now in my hallway and Im really pleased with it.

Sturdy build and good quality bookcase but wanted it in grey and Cotswold don't do it in grey, so I bought this one and painted it grey, looks great.

Didnt expect it to arrive flat packed. However the two delivery men were kind enough to do me a favour, and erect it for me.
