I've had my new bed frame, mattress, pillows, duvet, sheets and covers for over 3 weeks now. In this time I have had to say this is the best 3 weeks sleep I have ever had!! As our old mattress reached the milestone age of 8 years old, both my wife and I started to suffer from sore hips, back and generally poor quality of sleep. When we made the decision that it had to be replaced, little did I know that we would be embarking on a minefield journey! A LOT had changed since 8 years ago. You have the option of traditional pocket springs, memory foam, memory gel and even a combination of these materials. We initially went to our local bed shop and tried lying down on various different brands and bed styles. Prior to this visit I had been researching Simba mattresses, but was unsure as I was unable to physically test one before buying. After visiting the local bed shop, both my wife and I were considering a gel topper mattress, but after doing my due diligence by checking reviews etc, there were far too many negative reviews about poor construction and poor longevity. I floated the idea of a Simba mattress to my wife, as I liked the structure of the website and how it broke down the different layers in each mattress style. She, like myself was slightly apprehensive, but after 15 minutes perusing Simba. com, she was sold. The 200 night risk free guarantee put my mind at rest, as did the numerous awards the products had received. After looking at the range of hybrid mattresses and earth mattresses, we eventually decided on the Luxe mattress, as it was the perfect balance between luxury and price. We also like that it was a blend of springs and memory foam that complemented each other. We anxiously waited the arrival of our new mattress and when it arrived we were not disappointed. The setup of the new mattress was incredibly straight forward. We left it at least 6 hours before sleeping on it, to give it the best chance of inflating. Now after a full month I cannot imagine buying another mattress brand. The blend of springs and foam allows the mattress to be maleable but comfortable and firm at the same time. I'm still not quite sure how Simba have pulled this off, but it certainly works. I have no more hip pain and my wife's back pain has disappeared! Do yourself a favour and ignore all the bot generated negative reviews on social media. I promise you that you'll never look back and you'll be having good quality REM sleep. Sweet dreams!

We absolutely love this mattress as it's so comfortable. It feels really firm when you first get into bed, like it's just to hard, but as it warms with your body heat it softens where you are lying, making it really comfortable. Great for a bad back or anyone who like a firmer bed. The only downside is our fitted sheets slide and bunch up through the night and even having bought some elasticated bed clips it's still an issue. Not sure if taking the removable cover off and just using a mattress protector would better? Either way it doesn't detract much from it being the best mattress we've ever had and at the price was considerably cheaper than our last one, making it excellent value for money too. All in all I would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a firm mattress or anyone with back issues. We sleep so well that I wish we'd bought it earlier, but are very happy to have it now.

My daughter wanted a soft but not sinkable double mattress with her new bed. Bensons were so helpful and very patient. Eventually she settled for the Hybrid duo plus and absolutely loves it. No negatives at all, ok there is a smell to begin with but not overpowering. So we bought the same for one of our spare bedrooms. Having autoimmune arthritis I have spent years in agony lying in bed, unable to sleep on any side even considering sleeping in a lounge chair. Assuming it was my arthritis getting worse I didn't consider the mattress until I had to move into the spare due to having the master renovated, I was really apprehensive also because I need a king size as I'm constantly moving around. Well it was a revelation, I had no back pain! I'm still in the spare room and will definitely be buying one very soon but a king size unfortunately to fit my bed. 5 star comfort for me.

It's rock hard, to the point that when you sit on it, it feels like sitting on a brick wall, BUT when you lie on it, you settle into a really comfy, but firm mattress. This is the 4th mattress in less than 8 years, and the first one where I wake up without back pain. I'm definitely supported, and it feels amazing! I also bought the side sleeper pillow, which also feels rock hard, until you settle in, and as if by magic, my chronic neck pain has gone. I rarely write reviews, but this is very much worth it. The mattress and bed is amazing, but the company sucks! Customer service was dreadful, I had to send back a gel mattress because it wouldn't go up my stairs. I was told I would have to pay over 100 re stocking fee even though I measured the stairs according to their emails and it fit! And I even bought a more expensive mattress in the end! I couldn't cancel the order and go elsewhere to the numerous other mattress firms, because Benson said they would keep 20% of the 2800 I paid! I will never recommend them to anyone.
