So I know this mattress has been raved about in 'Which' and other entries, I do think there are a lot of good things about it but it's just unfortunately not for us at all. If you like firm mattresses perhaps give it a go as its not bad by any means, just harder than i anticipated. The mattress is on the firmer side of 'medium to firm' and whilst I felt supported this wasn't quite the sinking feeling I was looking for. You very much sleep on top of the mattress rather than being absorbed in slightly which is what we wanted. I expected it to be heavy too but it was very heavy when lifting alone, you need a friend to help. It is good for movement absorption I find however I don't feel my partner moving around where I did before. Also is cool temperature wise. I was disappointed that when I tried to return the mattress for a different model that I thought might better suit us they said they wouldn't do a flat exchange even though the prices when I bought it in the sale were comparable within 20 of each other. They expected instead that I pay a full price for the other model and refund the one I had bought even with my purchase still within the 100 day guarantee. When I tried to appeal explaining the outcome wasn't great customer service (although very nice and attentive!) I was just blankly told "it wasn't in policy, sorry" even after escalating to management supposedly their side. Overall a very mixed picture of the product and CX i received through what promised to be an exciting purchase. Sorry I can't write better on this occasion.

These really are very good mattresses! One of my main concerns was the reports and even some of Eve's own documentation regarding the new smell / odour of the mattress as from experience things that give off an odour tend to make me feel unwell pretty quickly, this mattress does give off an odour but apart from a slight headache on the first night it really hasn't affected me since. No the smell does not entirely disappear after 48 hours as some say, but it does get progressively better, make sure to air the room well and regularly, also move on the mattress to get air to pass through it... hopefully if you give this mattress a chance like us you'll find it very comfortable and super supportive, if this mattress can keep delivering this level of comfort and support for 10 years it will be money well spent. It is an expensive mattress though and I would have like to see a bit more attention to a few areas, the mattress has a removable washable cover and that's fantastic, but it means the handles are located under the mattress which means lifting the rather heavy mattress to access the handles, there needs to be a better solution here. We find the mattress firmness just right but others who try it think it would be too hard for them. Overall if this mattress does last out the 10 year guarantee period then I'll have to remember to come back to this review and give it the full five stars for Quality and Value For Money but for now it's too expensive and too new to go that far.

I wrote the following review on November 18th 2020 two weeks after using my Eve Sleep Hybrid mattress. Everything I said then still applies and I love the mattress. Brilliant product and fantastic sleep every night. I have been getting up every morning for nearly a year with back pain. Knowing I wanted a new mattress, searched the internet looking at all sorts of different products with varying prices. I looked at various reviews, but none seemed conclusive, so signed up for Which. A good move because Eve Sleep was not on my list. The review for the Premium Hybrid Mattress was exceptional. I ordered online, and the process was incredibly simple. It could not be better. Notifications of delivery were brilliant, and I even got a call 30 minutes before the delivery arrival. The guys were so good and polite. The mattress comes in a box, and the instructions give all the information in a truly clear manner on how to unpack and install on the bed. I left the mattress for 24 hours before using, although this is not necessary. I knew after the first night sleeping on the mattress, it was without any doubt a brilliant purchase. I have now been sleeping on my Eve Mattress for two weeks, and it is fantastic. I look forward to going to bed and do not want to get up in the morning. The whole experience from beginning to end has been exceptional. It is very reassuring to know there are still companies that give a faultless service and have a product to match.

Issues with delivery 1st attempt only the mattress topper arrived no mattress? Resolved following week with the help of Eve chasing logistics company. The Premium Hybrid Mattress King size is extremely heavy and glad we paid for 2 man delivery who struggled with the box up to the bedroom, interestingly the details on opening the box and mattress are actually printed on the inside the box? Unpacked the mattress and left it to inflate for a few hours .we both have found the mattress very comfortable on the firm side of medium. Only issue we have had was with the strong musty smell that has taken at least 1 month to fade and even now when you have left the bedroom door closed all day you get a faint whiff of it have 1 month left of the trial so will monitor it .The Handles for turning the mattress are located underneath the mattress i assume as being so heavy they would probably soon rip of the side of the mattress, this makes rotating the mattress very awkward as the mattress is extremely heavy ,due for a rotation this week so will get my son and daughter to do it for us. Think anyone should consider this as needs to be done regularly think there is a lighter hybrid version which on reflection would have been better for a pair of old codgers like us...for all my moans I must say it's very comfortable and appears to be of very good quality.......keep safe.

I so so so wanted to love this mattress and.was desperately excited it was coming. Everyone I knew seemed to be raving about their various hybrid mattresses and girlfriends were saying they couldnt wait to get to bed. After a lot of research I finally decided that the Eve premium hybrid was the mattress for me. I must state you absolutely cant fault Eve on their perfect service and delivery. Cant fault the quality its beautifully made. Its just the mattress itself is so hard and unyielding. After a month I contacted Eve but they said persevere it takes time to bed down. Another month later its 4.30 am and Im still persevering. I wasnt going to write a review yet but just wait to see how things went but Eve kept asking. Im going to purchase a mattress topper to see if that helps. Having just returned from a hotel stay in Jersey it was heaven to sleep on a different mattress. Hopefully everyone is right and it just takes a little more time. Ps adore the sloth.

We've had this mattress for nearly six weeks and from the start found it to be really comfy. It is on the firm side of medium but I can't fault it for comfort. We'd had our previous mattress for such a long time and put off purchasing a new one by adding a topper which prolonged the life a few more years but can't believe how uncomfortable it had become in retrospect. So far so good, would recommend to anyone who wants a nice comfortable mattress. I did a lot of research before purchase and liked the idea of a hybrid as our old one was a spring and I wasn't really keen to get a memory foam one. So this is the best of both. It wasn't the cheapest but it has turned out to be definitely a very comfortable mattress. So despite the price tag which comes with a hybrid, I justify that with the thought of so much more sleeping comfort. If it lasts for 10 years, then it is good value at about 5 a month, though of course, I'd like it to last longer!

My husband and I have been sleeping on our new Hybrid mattress for 3 months now and I have to say it has been comfortable since day 1. It's a lot firmer than the previous mattress we had which we are happy about, and when one person moves, the other one doesn't feel it. It is also deeper which means the bed is higher (nice when you want to sit and put your socks on and hate doing squats!). It does take a little adjustment and I kept being surprised at the firmness each time I got into bed, but that's normal. We are in our late 40s so getting more sensitive to the comfort of a mattress and this one was exactly what we needed. I highly recommend it. The only down side I would say is that the mattress is not as easy to rotate (once monthly for the first year) with the "handles" being underneath what is a very heavy mattress, and also the new mattress chemically smell did longer quite a long time. Overall, I definitely recommend it!

To be honest, the mattress has taken a tad longer than I thought to get used to. Its a lot firmer than I thought it would be! After the first couple of nights I thought I had made a huge mistake. It took me a couple of weeks to get fully comfortable with the level of support. That said, now that Im used to it, I love it! My back pain has practically disappeared and Im not aware of my partner turning over or moving around, Im a very light sleeper and this was always an issue. The only reason I havent given the mattress 5 stars is down to the very strong chemical smell of the materials used in its manufacture, even after airing it for the specified time. The smell persisted for a good couple of weeks, I could even smell it on my pyjamas. Overall, no regrets! Im sure it will give me years of comfortable nights sleep.

We have a 9 month old baby and our last mattress was just not up to the task of night time feeds and endless hours of sitting up and rocking the baby etc. Both my husband and I had back and shoulder pain from contorting ourselves around the baby if he ever made his way into our bed and the old mattress was so poor that we'd all end up in a dip in the middle. My mum bought us this eve mattress for my thirtieth birthday back in November and it's honestly changed our lives. Our back pain melted away almost overnight, I can lie on my side without having to anchor myself with my knee to stop from falling into 'the dip' and most importantly I feel safer co-sleeping with my baby. We look forward to going to bed now (as do most parents I'm sure) but there's alway an extra degree of excitement that we'll be comfy!

A comfortable double mattress that is reasonably firm, which suits us well. Minimises movement when one side of the mattress to the other. It is however rather heavy & a bit awkward to rotate on the bed base, particularly as the hand loops are under the mattress rather than on sides. Its a fairly warm mattress but not overly so. The main issue weve found is that the foam top layers have continued to give off an odour from new that is still there 2 months after starting to use it. At least the smell has reduced to almost nothing now, but it has needed the mattress to be left uncovered to air every day so far. Certainly unexpected. Great 12 month return offer from Eve if were still not happy with it during this time. Overall, a good mattress with a few issues that were living with ok so far.

First off most people buy a mattress and keep it at least 10 years. When you break the cost down per use it is cheap. So definitely value for money especially if there are two of you. It is well made. Read the instructions only use the handles to move it around. Comfort is second to none. I can fall asleep practically anywhere, but staying asleep is another thing and this definitely does the job. I am a hot sleeper and I do find it a little warm but if I got a lighter duvet I am pretty sure this would no longer be a problem. Delivery was good. The box is heavy but with some slow careful maneuvering getting it into the bedroom wasn't a problem. One oddity is the box seemed to be put together inside out? Obviously doesn't have any impact on anything just...odd.... Would I recommend it? 100%.

Hi, I am a 2nd time Premium Hybrid matress customer because I loved my first one so much. Bought my first one in 2022 for in my parents house (queen size) and this new super king one for my own place. Upon unpacking I noticed a dark mark on the matress which was disappointing as it took away the brand new feeling. (Can see it on right hand side in photo) I am also noticing the new matress is a lot firmer than the one I have at my parents house which is also an Eve premium hybrid. Are the new premium hybrids made more firm possibly? I am willing to upgrade my review if I find it softens up to as comfortable as the one at my parents or if I can get a matress topper. Lost a star also for the mark on the matress. I'm hopeful I'll be able to upgrade to 5 star's!

I bought this based on Which reviews and so far, have to say, we're bordering on sending it back. The main reason is that is is far firmer than we were expecting. I believe it was slated as a 6.5 out of 10 for firmness, but it feels like a 9 out of 10. We came from a medium soft natural mattress and have both woken up with stiff backs in the early days. It feels like it is getting slightly softer and we will keep for the 100 day trial as we really want to like it. The other issue is the smell. We've had it for 2 months and the smell still lingers on your clothes, so not exactly the 'few days' that it said, in spite of airing the room and hoovering it. Jury is out for us atm I'm afraid. that said, quality and delivery speed were great.

It is an improvement on the mattress it replaced which is just as well, but in all honesty after all the review hype I expected more. As stated it is medium to firm, but I don't think it is any better than any of the medium to firm mattresses I tried elsewhere. As promised you do not disturb your partner when rolling over and the edges stay firm. Longevity is an unknown factor though. We paid to have the old mattress taken away and the excellent two man team carried the mattress up to the bedroom and unpacked it which was welcomed and unexpected, but just as well as It weighs an absolute ton and turning it around is a two man job. Of course it costs a lot of money too.. I would not unreservedly recommend it.

I have always been very sceptical of these non-traditional mattresses, however, following a recent failed purchase of a traditional mattresses from Dreams which included an inadequate 30 day replacement option I felt there was nothing to lose with Eves full year money back trial option. Eve provided the perfect opportunity for me to really test out my theory that this new style of mattress would not measure up. I can honestly say to my surprise I have not experienced such a comfortable mattress before and would recommend Eve to anyone that asks. I am now 3 months into the trial and all signs are looking good that this mattress which cost half my previous failure has beaten the competition hands down.

Obviously this is subjective as hell. For me, too hard! I had this mattress from February to end of March to make sure it was tested properly. I kept waking with back ache. The delivery was easy and the quality is really good. The mattress is very heavy, which can make changing the bed clothes difficult. But you do feel like you're getting your money's worth. What I think is key to a review is after sales as much as product. Because of the aforementioned issues I swapped it out (VERY hassle free) with Eve and got the premium mattress (all foam) and it's the difference between night and day. When I say swapped, the old was a return and you have to buy a new one, there's no exchange system.

Ordered a mattress during the sale and found a discount code online which gave us a further discount. It was delivered promptly, although the delivery guys weren't very helpful and didn't even bring the mattress to the back door! They left it in the driveway - thankfully, my other half and friend moved the bed inside. We followed the very easy to follow directions and set the bed up. I probably struggled the first few nights as it was slightly hard for me but my other half slept soundly. We are just over a month in and I am sleeping better than ever before. The mattress is more towards the firm side of medium, but gone are our back issues completely!! Best money spent and totally recommend!

Wow! I was very hesitant to buy a mattress in a box at first, I did ALOT of research and found EVE to have the best reviews! Within just over a week of ordering online it was delivered. I couldn't believe how quickly it came, if you went for a traditional mattress it would take months. I chose the premium because of the springs, although it has memory foam you still have the same effect as springs (I.e roll over in the night). This mattress is without a doubt the best mattress I have ever bought, totally worth the money, extremely comfortable and high end quality. It's woth spending spending that bit extra if you want the feel of a spring mattress but the comfort of memory foam!

Firstly, they have great customer service and they were reliable. I recently moved home, bought a lot of furniture and virtually every company I dealt with let me down. The mattress itself looks great and is firm and warm. We have a bit of a battle in our house in that my partner likes a firm mattress and I like it super soft. It's too hard for me but my partner finds it very comfortable. Our only challenge with is that it has a chemical smell which we're really struggling to get rid of. However, we both only use chemical free products so we are sensitive to any artificial smells so it may just be us! I would highly recommend this company and I feel a bit bad not giving them 5/5!

Amazed and I don't ever recall using this word to describe an item I've purchased! I am a fussy sleeper and no mattress has ever has given me a comfortable nights sleep. This matters reduced the pressure that causes all my usual aches and paines. I wouldn't say 100% releif but enough that I can sleep an entire night without waking up in the middle of the night with painful frozen muscles. High ratings for giving me comfort to be able to sleep without any issues through the night. P.s. I found the mattress performed best when on a flat surface than on a slatted bed. It provides better support and it would let you sink in just enough which I felt was the best part.

For me, this mattress was just too firm - I found it very uncomfortable but I know these things are personal. Thankfully they have the trial period. Unfortunately customer service is poor: No phone lines, slow to respond to emails, or do anything about the request to return. It took nearly 4 weeks for Eve to collect the mattress after I initially requested the return which was frustrating. I also repeatedly asked to exchanged for a different Eve mattress I read was less firm but they didnt respond to that either. For an online order company, they need to sort communication and customer service or it leaves customers with a negative view of the company.

The mattress itself is comfortable and delivery guys were friendly and efficient BUT the management of the delivery by Bensons for Beds was hopeless. The original delivery date had to be cancelled due to lack of drivers and I was then told by phone that the bed would be delivered between 8:30 and 10:30 am on the new later date but it didn't turn up until 1:45 pm and the tracking device was totally unreliable and it had no times on it at all. It just informed us that the delivery guys were still only on their second delivery (of 25) at 1pm! Hence I had to rearrange my appointments for a second time. This was very annoying and inconvenient.

After much research, we decided to buy from Eve. The sales process and delivery were pretty efficient. Kudos to the packaging and instruction designer; it is clear that the brand image is playful yet the information on set-up was useful. Speaking of set-up, it was all pretty straightforward albeit the mattress is pretty weighty. Whilst it's a very comfortable and a significant step up from our previous mattress, I was hoping for something a little more luxurious. I am not entirely sure it is worth spending a few hundred pounds more on the premium range than it would be on the standard mattress.

A perfect example of the adage "you get what you pay for". As it's where we spend a good proportion of our lives, we decided after a lot of angsting about the cost that we'd go for what appeared to be the best. Although obviously we can't speak about longevity yet, so far we feel that we've definitely made the right decision. The build quality and materials are excellent and the mattress is extremely comfortable. There was a slight problem with the delivery but this was quickly sorted out by the really good customer service team. We're very pleased with it. Highly recommended company and product.

I haven't got anywhere near the 100 day trial, but I thought leaving a review might be helpful. Bought this style of mattress after doing my research. We discussed whether to get a slightly softer mattress, but decided on this one. I would say that the description was accurate on the website. You don't sink into it, which is what we wanted, but is comfortable and supportive. It is quite heavy, especially when turning. The handles are underneath for some reason. Maybe Eve could explain why on their website? As it doesn't flip, then on the side is more appropriate. All in all, am happy my purchase.

The mattress feels solid, really well put together. Firm but soft. It's still relatively new so the test of time is still yet to be had. Sometimes it feels like one side softens while the other side stays firm. It doesn't affect the sleep quality and I'm not sure if it's actually an issue but I bought the Eve premium after being very unhappy with the Emma premium so it's a massive improvement on the shoddy mattress I had to return. I will be buying another for my kids so they've done enough to keep my custom. Side note, it's very heavy but I suppose that's quality within. I highly recommend

Pros: Comfortable, very solid (so solid it almost deadens the sound around it), no waves of movement from your sleeping partner moving, warm and warms up quickly. Cons: Really heavy. So heavy that even changing fitted sheets is a chore reserved for the family member with most upper body strength. The chemical new mattress smell which we are told dissipates in a few days takes a month or so to go. Very warm, sometimes too warm for bedding. Time will tell on its longevity. Also concerned how difficult it will be to move the mattress either for relocation or disposal.

This is a really comfortable mattress and I now have a good night's sleep every night. I checked reviews before I bought and was concerned about the smell. Yes, it does take longer than 2 or 3 days for the smell to go (even if bedroom windows are wide open 24 hours a day). The mattress protector I had used for some years seemed to absorb the smell and, even after regular washing, was so bad after 3 weeks I had to stop using it. I bought the Eve mattress protector which solved the problem and has also made the mattress feel a little softer, which suits me fine.

You can believe the hype about this one. I've cycled through many expensive mattresses trying to deal with my lower back problems - this one hit the money perfectly. And it is very comfortable, doesn't shake your partner when you move, and does not wear. I like sleeping cold and worried about the foam. Though we've had a cold winter, I've had no sign of it being unpleasantly hot. It's the best we've ever had and I'm very happy to have given away our year old 1400 Harrison Spinks mattress, having found this one. Service was perfect too.

No more aches and pains waking up in the morning! I transitioned from a spring mattress to this hybrid mattress and noticed a HUGE difference. I used to wake up with hip pain, neck pain & back pain. The only thing I have changed is my mattress and I no longer feel this ache when I wake up. Its life changing. The only advice I would give is that when opening the mattress from the plastic, be careful not to nick the jersey type fabric on the surface with a knife or scissors. I managed to get a little hole in mine when opening it.

We love the mattress, we bought it for our caravan as we totally love the one we bought for our bed at home. The only problem we have is a double was delivered and i thought i'd bought a king. Wasn't until we'd un packed it until we realised. Something happened when i ordered it, i thought I'd clicked King and stupidly didn't check. Too complicated to try and swap it so we'll put up with the double. Mattress is wonderful but I should have been more careful when ordering and checked size on delivery. Lesson learnt.

I was expecting a much firmer mattress from the reviews that I had read. I don't find it particularly firm at all but I am comfortable on it and feel supported. I was surprised how squishy it is when I sit on the edge when getting in and out of bed as this doesn't fit with the firm mattress that I was expecting.It goes all soft when you lift a corner too which I find makes it hard to get sheets undeneath nicely. The main thing is the comfort though and I'm happy with that given that I don't tend to sleep very well.

Produce is good but let down by consistently poor customer service. Out of date listings on website of stores where physical product available meant a couple of wasted trips, and there was no response to email enquiry seeking confirmation of info. They use Hermes (!) for some deliveries - a mattress topper was delivered outside of the agreed timeframe and left on the doorstep while we were away. And really irritating copy. TBH I'd try their competitors instead - I think the products are all pretty similar.

I bought this particular mattress after it received the Which 'Best Buy' nomination. I have had it for a couple of months, and it is a well and truly comfortable mattress. The only thing I'd change is the delivery process. It comes rolled up in a box, and would take the 2 delivery men 5 minutes. Mine unrolled upside down, but flipping the mattress is not an easy job for one person as it weighs about 150lb. It took me an hour, but now it is in position, I hope to not have it moved for another 10 years :)

Selection of the mattress took a little thought (given the choices!). The ordering and delivery process was very straightforward, and the delivery staff were very helpful. We have now had the mattress long enough to state that we are very happy with how comfortable and supportive it is. It is a marked improvement on our previous mattress, and as a bonus, we were able to purchase it during a sale where it also turned out to be cheaper than our previous purchase; but markedly superior in every way.....

The mattress feels extremely firm, yet it is very comfortable. My only reservation is the strong smell coming from the mattress once the packaging is removed. The user instructions warn you to expect this, but I found that it took about 5 or 6 days to fade. I was lucky that I was able to sleep in another room and that the weather was fine and I could leave the window open whilst it was airing. It was quite off putting, making me wonder what chemicals it contained and the possible harm to health.

we tried this mattress for 7 weeks but unfortunately we found it was too hard for us. We contacted customer services to ask if we could return it and after a couple of emails they arranged for it to be collected that week. A text advised us of the date and time of collection and they turned up took the mattress away, no fuss. Our money was refunded a few days later. Their customer service was excellent and it was a painless experience to return it, it was just a shame the mattress didnt suit us.

The mattress came while we were out and was extremely heavy... really heavy. We just couldn't face lugging this enormous item up 2 flights of stairs and in fact we wouldn't have been able to without a lot of assistance. Having said that, when we contacted Eve to say that we had changed our mind they couldn't have been nicer and organised a collection immediately and refunded. So I think really good service and perhaps, if I lived in a bungalow, I would have proceeded with the purchase.

This mattress has been great for me since I like a really firm bed. I've never been a fan of memory foam because I hate that sinking feeling, but with this one, it's barely noticeable-just a slight contour that's actually kind of nice. When it first arrived, though, the smell was pretty strong. It stuck around for a few weeks, which was annoying, but now it's not really noticeable. Overall, if you're into firm mattresses and don't mind waiting out a bit of a smell, it's a solid choice!

Love my new mattress. It is firm yet supportive of my body in all positions. On the warm to cool scale I would put it as nearer the warm side. I only ever put my electric blanket on at 1 to prepare my bed for me before I get into it and sometimes I waken up feeling hot - maybe once every couple of weeks. It is likely to reflect what I have been eating or drinking. It is not an issue for me but I am pleased that I didnt choose a mattress which is rated as being warmer than this one.

Have had this mattress for a couple of months now and so feel better able to comment on it. Its initial firmness has now softened slightly (probably due to the memory foam). Also, the smell of the new mattress has dissipated. There's not too much disturbance when my wife gets in/out of bed. It's heavy, which makes it a bit of a struggle to turn it, but it has to be done regularly to ensure maximum life out of the mattress. I'd certainly buy another similar mattress from Eve.

If you like harder beds especially if you have back pain this is probably the best choice for you. I have been using the mattress for over a month now and I can't really complain. It definitely took getting used to as my previous mattress was softer but I won't be going back. The only problem with this item is that the mattress does have a strong smell which does seem to be subsiding but quite strong for the first few weeks. Overall I cant complain and would recommend.

This mattress provides very good support, but we find it hot to sleep on compared to traditional mattresses. (We bought the recommended mattress cover, which made no difference.) The factory smell has also lingered- despite regular airing- which was unexpected. The mattress is very heavy, so rotating/ moving it could pose a significant challenge for older people or single owners. All in all, it's okay, but not as wonderful a product as its online advertising proclaims.

We have bought many mattresses over the years and I can honestly say this is the most comfortable, it's soft and keeps you warm but not overly so like some mattresses we have had. It did take my wife a few weeks to get used to it but thats like any mattress, we both now love it. The good thing is that movement by one person doesn't affect the other one. It was reasonable expensive but i'm hoping this will now last for many years and you do get 100 day to test it out.

The mattress appeared very well constructed but unfortunately for me was to firm. After 3 weeks I had developed a very sore shoulder from side sleeping. Apart from this quite major issue the mattress was strangely very comfortable when sitting down on or lying on my back (not allowed due to snoring in this position though). This is a really firm, really heavy and really substantial mattress. It is firm all the way to the edge and the first time you sit on it, you'll think it has no give whatsoever. In that respect, it's kind of....Non-Newtonian. It doesn't move at all when you lay on it. However, over the course of a few more seconds you will realise that you have sunk into it a little more than you expected, and that this is an extremely comfortable thing to have happened.

I'll be honest - it took me a while to get used to this mattress. In the beginning it felt a bit strange, and for weeks I thought it smelled, although my wife had no objections and she has a more sensitive nose than mine. Not a bad mattress.Appalling and childish service pattern with customer avoidance appearing to be the priority.Mattress very smelly so far but fortunately the smell is now eithr fading we are getting used to or conditioned to the odour.Extremely heavy mattress,difficult to move with the grab handles unhelpfully being on the bottom of the mattress which has to be lifted to get at them. As other people have commented there is a smell initially with this mattress as I used the old mattress removal service I had to bear with it until it faded. It's not awful just strange. It has taken longer than I anticipated to get used to this mattress approx 6 weeks but in fairness I have been used to traditional sprung mattresses with a memory foam topper. It was much firmer than I expected however incredibly comfortable. Both of us have bad backs and it definitely showed we needed to get rid of our old mattress! The only downside was that it does come with a new smell (presume because its wrapped up) that lasted for quite a long time and I found not very pleasant (Im quite sensitive to smell). We only discovered that the mattress had 'handles' on two sides (not 4) which are very difficult to get hold of when we came to turn the mattress after one month's use. We also had fitted a new electric blanket which was strapped round the mattress and this added to the problem. After a tremendous struggle my wife and I managed it and cursed Eve and decided we would not try to repeat it even though we should do so each month for six months.

The mattress came on time. Personally I find it a bit too firm but it is supportive. If I read in bed and then want to sit up a bit I feel like I have to forcefully hold my new position so the memory foam relaxes where I was sitting and settles into my new position. Otherwise I just slip back down into the first position. Actually sleeping is predominately ok but I can still wake with hip pain which I had hoped the new bed would help.

Nearly two months in, we find the mattress supremely comfortable, with no sag and none of the slow to return body dents seen with our previous memory foam mattress. Time will tell as to whether this will last longer than the memory foam, but I have a feeling that it will. Im not sure about the 100 day trial though. How on earth one would squeeze this thing into anything smaller than a transit van for its return, I cannot imagine.

Best our expectations! We both suffered from an achy low back in the mornings but not since we got the new mattress! We have it 3 months now and even with the triathlon training we do, which always gives us niggles to discomfort, still no morning pains. This mattress has transformed my back health. It took a while to get used to the firmness but even months in, I'm still looking forward to going to bed each night. The only tiny downside is that it is very deep, and my fitted sheet needs refitting most nights as it's quite a stretch. Delivery excellent. We paid for the mattress to be brought up to thr bedroom and the old one removed. There was not enough room in the van for the old one so the delivery men put in in the garage and collected it next day. We have been sleeping on it for some 6 weeks. My husbsnd is happy but I am finding it too firm for my back. I will give it a little longer but am not sure it is the right choice for me.

Good quality and very comfortable mattress.Not a "budget buy"so hope longevity makes it worth the money.Supplied as a "bed-in-a-box" so was reasonably easy to fit up the stairs and into the bedroom.The mattress is heavy so removal could prove more difficult.The only other downside is that the handles for turning the mattress are on the underside instead of a more convenient position on the sides.

It's terrific. Quite firm and it takes a couple of months to get used to it. Once that's done, however, it's a really great sleep. It doesn't have sides like our previous mattress and we had to get used to that, but once we were aware of it there was no danger in falling out! It is expensive but it has to last a long time and Which? recommended it for durability, so that should be fine.

My only gripe is when the mattress was delivered the box was badly damaged at both ends making it exceptionally difficult to carry upstairs. The mattress was intact inside the vacuum packing..... The only reason I gave 4* and not 5 is because although we had paid for the service the old mattress was not taken away on the same day as the delivery of the new one. Best mattress I ever owned. Comfortable and supportive. I sleep so much better. Also glad I took up the "deliver and remove" option, saving me the trouble of getting my old mattress to the recycling centre. Comfortable enough from a firmness perspective. The problem is that it gets incredibly hot and is very slow to cool down. I really dont like sleeping on it. Whilst we will probably keep it, we will move it to our guest room and get a new mattress for our room. Its also very heavy and has no external frame which makes changing sheets difficult.

We found the mattress rather uncomfortable, especially my partner who woke up with a lot of back ache. It is on the firm side and so is probably not suitable for lighter people. Seems to be really good quality. Had the mattress about 6 weeks now and while I found it a little hard for the first week, it does seems to soften when it settles to medium/firm. Whilst rather heavy (took 2 of us to shift it) and a bit of a tangle with the first one getting lost in transit, the mattress itself is rather thick. However, despite all that it is reasonably comfortable provided you don't mind a firmer mattress. At the price, I'd expect it to last well and may well be my last mattress purchase.

This mattress is no thicker than our old one, but it sits higher on the frame. All my old fitted sheets still fit on it, which is great. Feels very solid when you get on it but it gives a great nights sleep. I really miss it when i sleep elsewhere. There is no movement when one of you turn over, there other one does not feel it.
