When I ordered the original mattress, there was a slight mishap. I had paid the 35 for nominated day and removal of my old mattress. However on delivery day I had received no email or delivery information. I called Eve to find out what was happening. I spoke with Liam who informed me that my order had not gone through the system correctly and that the particular mattress that I ordered was out of stock. Liam was absolutely brilliant in keeping me informed as he looked into things for me. Liam was going to arrange for the delivery of another mattress to be delivered a day later. I eventually got my mattress 2 days later and I must say I am not disappointed. The mattress was delivered and my old one removed by a very helpful delivery team. The mattress was easy to open and the unpacking process has to be seen to be believed. This is a great mattress, very comfortable and my partner is having the best nights sleep he has had in a long while...... We are very happy with our purchase and thanks to Liam for sorting things out.

The mattress itself is just right for me, medium firm is the perfect level of firmness, no pressure points triggered either, providing the right amount of support all over. When sitting on the edge of it, it stays put and bounces back very quickly. I have had it for 2 months on my fixed bed in the caravan that is my temporary new home for a few months on my way to my new place and possibly for another 2 to 3 years whilst refurbushing an old place eco style and starting in permaculture, self sufficiency, self sustainability as much as one can. So far it has not kept me too warm and fended off the night cold. Once the packaging opened the mattress plumped up in less hours than anticipated. It has kept its shape, it has not curled up at the edges nor has the cover rolled over the edges. It has stayed put perfectly. Price wise, I can't fault it. Better, much better than expected, I am very impressed.

Although I love the Eve mattresses and have never had better, the experience I received with this order was shocking. I paid 50 to have next day delivery and for my old mattress to be taken away. Not only did it take weeks for my mattress to arrive with a lot of frustrating chasing at my end, when the mattress finally did arrive, the delivery man lied about whether he would be able to access my property and how long for which meant yet another delay for the date to be rearranged. I asked customer service for a refund of the 50 I paid for speedy delivery as it had been anything but speedy, but they fobbed me off with a generic reply about waiting for the full experience to conclude. Still no refund. But, love the mattress.

Brilliant mattress, had our doubts about spending so much money on a foam mattress, but this is no ordinary foam mattress, sleep comes so naturally now and even forgot it was an eve mattress and...I have a degenerative spine condition and my back used to wake me up all the time...I now sleep straight through the night and even find the quality of sleep is better than ever before. My sciatica doesn't start hurting until after an hour of getting up. I always sleep on my side and on our old mattress I would wake up with very bad shoulder pain, now it's not a problem sleeping on my side. Thank you eve sleep...

I love this mattress. It's like lying on air. There are no pressure points and because if this it reduces my pain I've always had on other traditional mattresses. In my 46 years on a traditional sprung mattress I've never experienced comfort like the original eve mattress. It is easy to turn, not too heavy. There are no areas where it is starting to sag. I wish I'd bought this years ago. My sleep is much better quality, and pain free. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best mattress on the market, I would recommend it highly without hesitation.

We went on holiday a little while ago and had such a great nights sleep we had to ask the owner of the holiday cottage what type of mattress we had been sleeping was!! Queue the Eve Original!! Now at 7 months pregnant and seeing that is was on sale we finally took the plunge and so glad we did. We are sleeping much better, the 4am nip to the loo no longer wakes up my husband, and his 5am pit stop no longer wakes me!! I bought a mattress from Eve for my daughter as she was due to have a new one. Few months later we want to buy a new mattress for ourselves too. Stupidly instead of buying from Eve, we bought from a competitor whose name is very similar (:)) because they had a sale. The Eve Original has been a success! We bought it for our 15 year old who has slept great on it. No complaints. In fact on asking him for his view for this review he said that he hadn't thought about the mattress, is that because it is comfortable? Yes! He wanted to give it 4.3/5 hence the rating, no negatives to add. I researched and researched and was worried because a mattress is such a personal thing, he is very sensitive to touch and heat but no niggles about either. So far, so good.

Comfortable mattress but too warm! So dreading the Summer months. Sadly can't return it under the trial and since then now have upped the trial to a year. Was thinking of returning and buying the premium but due to having Covid went past the date Very disappointed as bought after reading Which report which said average warmth. Some nights can't sleep and I like and need my sleep.. Think twice before purchasing and don't make the same mistake as I have as has been an expensive one at that!

Ive always loved eve products, especially their bed covers and so it was a no brainier to buy one of their mattresses. The mattress is extremely comfortable and provides good support and a great nights sleep. I particularly like the fact that you can unzip the top layer so that it can be washed separately, as this will help prolong the life of the mattress as well. Great product, good design and fast delivery - they even took our old mattress away (for an extra charge).

This is the second eve matteress I've purchased. This is not has good quality has the one I recycled. The new new mattress has a loose cover on it. I feel has if I'm rolling off the side of the bed. Very disappointed in the new one. I do wish I'd kept my old one. That one was firmer and 8yrs old. My son still has his and that is 8yr old and firmer. Reason for low score. This is the first mattress I've bought personally but is the third like it in the house. Having slept very comfortably and soundly on the previous one for several years it was easy to decide to buy another when we opted to upside to a superking following the arrival of "he's not sleeping on the bed" cocker Spaniel. We bought this mattress on the strength of the Which review. We didnt need 3 months to be sure, by the second night we were convinced and very happy. The only snag and it is a nuisance is that Eve dont collect your old mattress and thats really difficult during lockdown and Covid restrictions. We still have our old one waiting for the council to collect in Jan many weeks later. The important bit though the mattress is excellent.

We decided to purchase this mattress following a stay in a holiday cottage which had an eve mattress on the bed. It was so comfortable we knew it was time to change our mattress at home. We bought it when it was on offer and we're really pleased with it. Although we like quite a firm mattress, this did feel very firm to start with. It has now softened slightly and is supportive but comfortable. The best mattress we've bought.

I bought my first eve 6 years ago and loved it. When upgrading from a double to a King recently I decided to buy another one as I was so pleased with the original. However, despite double checking with Eve that the mattress was made in the same way this one is so much more firm than I was expecting or am used to and I've had to invest in a mattress topper from a different company as a result. Just not what I was hoping for.

It took me a couple of nights to get used to mattress but love it now. I was surprised to start with how firm it was but so comfortable and no aching back or joints. I chose this mattress as it stated in comparison with other memory foam mattresss that it was firmer. So pleased I did Delivery was excellent & easy to unroll. This is the second Eve mattress I have. Having slept in our guest bed for a couple of nights. I realised how dreadfully uncomfortable the bed was so .... new mattress. Absolutely great. These mattresses are just so comfy. Love them. Delivery was excellent by two very friendly guys who took the mattress upstairs for me and took the box away. Great service! Without doubt the best mattress I've EVER slept on. It's utterly sublime. Perfection. My wife absolutely loves it too. We spend approximately a third of our lives in bed so give yourself what you deserve and invest in an amazing mattress. Even the unboxing was a pleasure, the "Woa it was dark in there" writing on the first piece of paper to greet us was a nice touch. Quality all around.

Our purchase was driven by the Which reviews we researched before purchase. Make sure you don't buy full price, discount offers come along pretty often. I was disappointed that they left the quite heavy mattress on the doorstep; even worse, that they collected the old one (from upstairs!) two days before the delivery of the new one. But that's a logistics problem, not a product quality one.

The mattress arrived earlier than expected and my old one was taken away. It look a few hours to get to size as expected. It is so comfortable and provides the right amount of support. I got it at a really good price as I also found a discount voucher so it was real value for money. There was some off gassing in the first few days but I didnt find it too bad. Mattress is very comfy indeed. For us as usual cold foam sleepers we were used to a very high standard cold foam. This mattress let you sink in a bit but is then quite firm as well. The only negative point we found is that you seem to sweat a bit more on it. I am not sure what the remedy is for that because foam protectors usually add even more plastic to the mattress. What to do?

Ordered this mattress having slept on one at an Airbnb. Had found it so comfy that I checked the label to see what it was and ordered one. However our new one obviously needs a bit more wearing in as it's very firm but is only a month old. Loss of stars is because of the horrible smell which still hasn't gone in spite of leaving it to air for three days and many times in between.

Had a top ikea memory foam mattress decided to ditch Ikea as only have cheaper ones available for eve. So far so good rotating regularly and keeping sheets fresh. Tendency to sleep on front however with this mattress find sleeping on side and back just as comfortable so more options! Also noticed price dropped before delivery so managed to get a bit more off which was a bonus.

We bought this product to replace an aging memory foam mattress that was starting to feel rather uncomfortable. The mattress is of good quality and overall fairly priced, certainly much more value for money than the competition. Concerning comfort, I was expecting more. This mattress does all it says in the bumph. I bought a mattress protector at the same time and together they make it a wonderful experience. I suffer pain in my joints and I can say that my nights are now almost pain free. I have already recommended Eve to my daughter. The fact that Eve is designed and made in Britain is another star in its favour.

This mattress has been great, its nice and firm but without being rock solid, it's supportive and it's not trapped loads of heat which is ideal. We'd had our old mattress for 9 years and were worried about updating as you're never sure how you will get on with it until you've slept on it for a few weeks but this has made us wish we'd switched sooner.

I have had eve mattress before so a bought another the new one is really hard nothing like the first one debating returning it or buying a mattress topper I have a king size but the quality is there if you would like a hard mattress just hurts my hips and my partner gets a dead arm we are quite chucky monkeys so might be different for lighter people

Well constructed and not as heavy to handle as some other memory foam mattresses, although I find the 'handles' on the underside awkward (too far apart and hard to find sometimes, handle spacing doesn't seem to be designed with female proportions in mind?). Overall pleased with my purchase.

After initial adjustment to the new mattress, which is to be expected, I have slept so well. The mattress is so comfortable but I have a few minor niggles with the design - personally I think the handles for turning it over should be on the side and not underneath or atleast slightly nearer the edge of the mattress and also it's a pity it can't be turned over as well as around. Can't complain about the comfort though. It's amazing

Too hard. For a memory foam mattress you definitely expect some adaptable and soft mattress, that's not the case. After investing a lot of money in a memory foam mattress you have to invest more money in a good memory foam topper. I couldn't sleep until I use the topper because the mattress was killing my back. Quite disappointed.

While their mattress is very comfortable, their post purchase customer care has been ABHORRENT. My mattress was slightly defective and instead of accepting proof of this, the customer complaints team preferred to take the route in blaming me instead of their product. A month later and still waiting for a resolution. Bad bad bad.

After two months we are finding the mattress to be just as we hoped as regards comfort and quality. Its not too heavy and easier to move than our previous pocket spring and memory foam mattress. The smell that all these foam mattresses give off only lasts a week - and its not unpleasant anyway! Eve describe it as funky!

Great mattress. Wish Id replaced my old one sooner now. The customer service team had to step in as there was a delay with my order which then became mistimed with my bed delivery, but they sorted everything so that my old mattress was collected when the new one was delivered so that everything still felt seamless.

this ones just as comfy as the first we had several years ago. I must admit I was dubious when I read the details the first time round....? How could a matress give you so much comfort..? But I was wrong..! I've never had an uncomfortable nights sleep, it just seems to mould around your shape, whatever it is.

Really pleased I chose the Eve single original mattress. It is super comfy and much thicker than the previous memory foam mattress it replaced. Bought on promotion at 329 which was half price so great value for money. Not sure I would pay full price though as too expensive for a single mattress in my opinion.

Not as comfortable as I was hoping. Ive been adjusting the sliders underneath with no joy to make it more comfortable. I cant lie in the one position too long or my body starts to feel sore which is disturbing my sleep slightly. Good quality material and excellent value for money but wish it was more comfy

Got a double memory foam mattress with 35% discount - this mattress is so comfortable, the best mattress Ive slept on! Its nice and firm I dont want to get up in the morning! Delivery in a box great, removal of old mattress great, disappointed with the mattress, too hard, after a few weeks just get an indent where we both sleep, and if you try to spread out you get an odd line where it hasnt sunk thats even more uncomfortable. Guess memory foam isnt for us!

It is. Very firm mattress. That is stated on the website. Its a bit too firm for me but probably the best I can get without forking out 2000 for a Tempur ( Ive had one before and it is good) So my assessment is. Its ok However my husband who likes a firm mattress is quite pleased

My understanding from the Which? magazine that this was a medium mattress, however it feels firm. I had hoped that there would be more give/sag but no. At least it does not disturb my partner with my turning providing less disturbed sleep. And Eve's customer service is Excellent!!

Excellent original mattress, worth every penny. Very comfortable, my hips no longer ache through the night , I sleep through every night ( husbands snoring aside) and wake up rested. Eve people can you make something to fix my husbands snoring as hes now too comfortable.

King size bed which I've had for four years. Comfortable enough if you like a firm bed. However.... I do tend to wake up sometimes during the night drenched in sweat as the mattrass is on the hot side. Reasonable value for money but I wouldn't buy a other one.

Due to a long period of running on roads my hips and knees give me a wee bit of trouble. This meant that my previous mattress become uncomfortable. Thank goodness that the mattress from Eve has dealt with that problem and my sleeping has been much better.

Got this on Black Friday sale with a pillow. My husband loves the pillow. We both love the mattress and doesn't cause movement when one of us is getting up to feed the baby. Comfortable sleep. Just keeps shifting a bit on the bed so maybe a bit light?

Mattress has been great. We read Which reviews and chose this because it was meant to be comfortable and not too warm. Although it hasn't been the hottest summer, the mattress has been very comfortable and I don't think it gets warmer than average.

Comfortable and cooler than previous memory foam mattress. We didn't find that there was a chemical smell but left it for 24 hours anyway. It is quite heavy (king size) and needs 2 to turn it . Over all we are happy with our purchase.
