I'd heard of Simba mattresses as good quality and a long lasting investment but always thought of memory foam. Was so pleased to see their Earth care range... Natural materials that will not clog up a land fill site one day and I was very happy to see English wool as one of the components as know our sheep farmers struggle to find a viable market for their fleece. I'm a health care worker, not on a huge income and was extremely greatful for the discount. Mattress arrived swiftly, seems extremely well made and long lasting. (I bought the 'Source' which is classed as their basic in the range and if money is no option I'm sure the 'Escape' or 'Apex' are even more awesome. Firmer than I was expecting initially, but this softened after the first week, or I just got used to it. Works brilliantly for me as a predominantly belly sleeper. Thank you. Delivery drivers arrived 90 mins before their start time but were efficient and promptly built the bed frame. I was very glad they were able to remove the old bed frame too. I was a little nervous about not having tried the mattress before purchasing, but I was impressed by how seriously they seem to take their eco credentials and the 10 yr warranty. The mattress is pleasantly firm, smelling faintly of wool which I had forgotten I quite liked. Overall my sleep has been very good and has improved since purchasing. It does seem to hold the heat better than my old mattress and so was able to switch to a lighter duvet for maximum comfort. The combo of new frame/mattress has made all the difference to stability compared with the creaky old frame. Very happy so far! Alastair

This is a beautifully made, high quality mattress. It feels luxurious, however it is extremely firm, and for me just fractionally too firm I think. I have been sleeping on it for a fortnight and while I have got more used to it, I think I need something slightly softer. It is however very supportive if you sleep on your back or front, a bit shoulder crunchy for me on my side. It is reasonably comfortable but I am looking for something amazing comfortable so I am going to try the Hybrid Pro. We will see how that works out. I sleep on my back, front and side, mainly side I suppose. I love the fact that it is all natural fibres and British wool, and I am disappointed I'm not more comfortable on it. I am being picky, because I am over 70, and it has to be just right.

I took a while to decide on my purchase because I have not invested in a high quality mattress for a number of years and the price is above what I would normally spend. After reading reviews, I went for it! What an excellent choice - the quality of the mattress is outstanding and the pillows are the most comfortable that I have ever had (apart from when sleeping in a 5* hotel). I have spent a fortune on pillows over the years and never been happy with them so highly recommend these ones. My partner suffers from a bad back which impacts his sleep quality and is already feeling the benefit of this new purchase and sleeping much better. About ten days in, I quite like the mattress so far. It's nice and sturdy, no sinking in, and the anti-slip coating on the bottom means it doesn't shift around on the slats. Haven't experienced any creaking or snapping springs either and don't feel them at all, unlike on my old mattress. I will say the mattress is quite thick though so if I got a mattress topper I'd need to get deeper bedsheets. The mattress is also a little firmer than described. I'll definitely need a topper since I'm a side sleeper, despite enjoying firmer mattresses, but the very top layer of the mattress is soft enough to be great for back-sleeping. I spend a lot of time in bed because I'm disabled and I can say it's quite comfortable to sit propped up on as well!

Needed to invest in a good mattress after experiencing back and neck pain for a while My old mattress needed replaced and I wasn't sure which one I should buy Simba came up as the best mattress' and I saw the earth source mattress, the materials it's made with are impressive so I took the plunge and invested in it It has been worth every penny, the mattress has been a complete game changer for my sleep, I am getting a full nights sleep which I havent had for years and wake up feeling rested rather than sore and still tired. Had been meaning to upgrade our mattress for a few years, it helps being reminded by all the research that comes out on the importance of sleep and the impact of continuous bad sleep. It was a stretch for us in terms of cost and then had to upgrade to add to the cost as we don't sleep well on foam so went for the Natural Hybrid sprung option which was more upfront again. But - Life's been better since, better back, better posture, more level through the day as we've had a decent night's sleep, I think it's done good things for our relationship. We originally ordered the hybrid pro as the earth source was new and had little reviews. After returning the hybrid pro as it was too hot and did not provide enough support for us we decided to try the earth source and we could not be happier. It is a very comfortable yet firm mattress and the quality of our sleep has really gone up. No horrible off gassing smells on arrival and when it reaches the end if it's life it doesn't need to get thrown into landfill. It really is a no brainer! Very happy customers

Order process was easy, a bit taken back by the long delivery process but it got here in the end. Also not so impressed with how my mattress got delivered but I already spoke to the company about it. Mattress is good quality, I am sleeping loads better already, took me about 2 days to get used to it but it's definitely worth the price . Love the firmness, that's exactly what I wanted , I am hoping that it will last me few years. All good so far, can't wait to see the results on the long run

Really pleased with this mattress. It was very important to me to have a product with strong eco credentials and to dispose of my old mattress responsibly, so this ticked all the boxes! I haven't made up my mind yet as feel too firm for me at the moment. This is the most expensive mattress we have ever had and only bought due to trial period. I am small and 54 kg but my husband is tall and 84 kg so trying to find the ideal mattress on one bed could be problematic. He is happy with it so far but my back is sore in the morning initially which is new to me. He previously had a sore back as he felt mattress before was too soft. Fingers crossed!

Really happy with our new Simba. Glad at the amount of natural fibres as I am into less synthetic stuff and also snore and have dust allergies. Wool is proven to reduce dust mites. Only negative was the deliverers put it upside down, luckily we spotted this before we made up the bed and were strong enough to flip it, if we were elderly etc. that would have been a problem and it would have been very uncomfortable. Happy with the product! Would recommend.

Was quite disappointed with the quality of sleep and comfort. Have slept on Simba mattresses before and was so impressed. So expected really big things of this mattress. Our quality of sleep and comfort is comparable, if not marginally worse now, than when sleeping on a high-street brand mattress, that is a fraction of the price. It's passible, it's not uncomfortable, but not at up to the quality of Simba mattresses we have experienced

We have been long overdue a new mattress and The Simba Earth source Mattress has been the perfect choice for us. Nice mattress, even better that it hasn't got memory foam, latex etc. in it. Just a good supportive comfy mattress. Only downside - for us, very very thick mattress at least compared to our old one, so doesn't quite look right on our bed frame if that makes sense - especially so as we have a sloping ceiling and I now bang my head!!! That's not the mattresses fault though, probably take 2" of the bed legs to compensate :)

I first ordered a refurbished Simba Hybrid Pro, which I didn't get on with as it was far too soft for me (which is strange considering it's meant to be medium-firm). So I swapped it out for a Natural Hybrid Source, which is better in terms of firmness. However, I'm still testing it out re: firmness and heat retention, something us guys in particular need to bear in mind I think.

Absolutely brilliant mattress. We'd struggled to find a mattress that suited both of us, but we found it with this mattress. Quality mattress, just the right amount of firmness. Had a great first night's sleep and loved the initial smell (it goes away), which wasn't the VOCs you normally get off new furniture but lovely hemp and flax instead. From the 2nd night of having it I had the best nights sleep for a long while. I wriggle alot as I have restless leg syndrome and also nerve damage in my feet so was waking and disturbing my husband every night. Worth every penny , supports where needed . No pains anymore upon wakening. Sleeping a lot better with less wakening during the night so energy levels are better. Is definitely on the firm side but I'm very light in weight my husband said he thinks it's a medium so I think it's personal preference but neither of us are disappointed

It was meant to be delivered on a specific day between a window of time, but they said no one was at home - I was here all day. Re-arraging was not until Tuesday the next week. Worth every penny , supports where needed . No pains anymore upon wakening. Sleeping a lot better with less wakening during the night so energy levels are better. Is definitely on the firm side but I'm very light in weight my husband said he thinks it's a medium so I think it's personal preference but neither of us are disappointed

After purchasing a hybrid pro and finding it a bit too warm, spoke with Simba customer services and they were happy to exchange for the natural hybrid source which seems to be a lot cooler and a bit firmer to which suits us much better. Simba were really helpful and more than happy to remedy our issue

It's definitely firm. I'm so light, so hardly make a dent. I was able to feel where the tufts are, but this has evened out, even after a few days. It's probably a little deeper than I'd like - our sheets do fit, but only just. Overall, the mattress feels generous and luxurious.

My old memory foam mattress was starting to sag. This pocket sprung and natural topper is far nicer that my last mattress when new. The natural topper is the big plus. The only down side for me is the tufting it necessitates but I'm getting used to that.
