The mattress is good quality and was delivered at the time expected. As it was the first delivery just after 7am and it had been in the van overnight during sub zero temperatures, it was rock solid. Even though it had all day to defrost in a warm bedroom, it was still uncomfortably hard that night. I had expected it to soften over the coming days but after two weeks it was still exceptionally firm. I was convinced we had received an extra firm mattress in error, but they only come in medium or firm, so we are now waiting for it to be swapped for a medium mattress. I have given up on the mattress and am now sleeping in another bed waiting for the new one to be delivered. My husband has now persevered with it for a month but it is still only moulding where the most weight is located. We have had memory foam mattresses for around 20 years, so we're not prepared for how firm this mattress is. I just hope that the medium mattress is more cushioning to lie on.

We absolutely love this mattress as it's so comfortable. It feels really firm when you first get into bed, like it's just to hard, but as it warms with your body heat it softens where you are lying, making it really comfortable. Great for a bad back or anyone who like a firmer bed. The only downside is our fitted sheets slide and bunch up through the night and even having bought some elasticated bed clips it's still an issue. Not sure if taking the removable cover off and just using a mattress protector would better? Either way it doesn't detract much from it being the best mattress we've ever had and at the price was considerably cheaper than our last one, making it excellent value for money too. All in all I would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a firm mattress or anyone with back issues. We sleep so well that I wish we'd bought it earlier, but are very happy to have it now.

Finally, a mattress that is perfect for me! It's rock hard, to the point that when you sit on it, it feels like sitting on a brick wall, BUT when you lie on it, you settle into a really comfy, but firm mattress. This is the 4th mattress in less than 8 years, and the first one where I wake up without back pain. I'm definitely supported, and it feels amazing! I also bought the side sleeper pillow, which also feels rock hard, until you settle in, and as if by magic, my chronic neck pain has gone. I rarely write reviews, but this is very much worth it. Possibly not suited for a bed frame with sprung slats (in an m shape). The mattress seems to slope, and not necessarily from 'roll-together', just one person can feel like you are on an incline. Maybe it is ok on a divan base, but after the cost of the mattress that's not financially possible to get. The elasticated bed sheet also constantly gets pulled off as you move in the night, I assume because the edges of the mattress are not defined enough to hold it. My partner hates the mattress, I can live with it. So not what I would expect for the cost.

The mattress and bed is amazing, but the company sucks! Customer service was dreadful, I had to send back a gel mattress because it wouldn't go up my stairs. I was told I would have to pay over 100 re stocking fee even though I measured the stairs according to their emails and it fit! And I even bought a more expensive mattress in the end! I couldn't cancel the order and go elsewhere to the numerous other mattress firms, because Benson said they would keep 20% of the 2800 I paid! I will never recommend them to anyone.

Realise how bad old mattress was very happy with this one not much more to say certainly not fifty words worth very pleased with service from bensons from walking into !shop to delivery well that's thirty odd words only negative is being forced to draw out this review which is actually making me regret embarking on what other wise would have been a positive all round review There now I believe I have fulfilled the criteria now!

I have had the mattress for 21 days and initial finding is that the mattress is extremely comfortable and warm. I was a bit dubious as to how I would adapt to sleeping on a memory foam mattress as have always had a very firm orthopaedic mattress due to a back injury. However, I am sleeping soundly and to date have not woken up with back pain, although I am finding that turning over takes more effort.

Previously had a Tempur mattress medium/firm. Eve is made in the U.K. which made my choice easier. Great quality and possibly better than the Tempur, the Tempur mattress used to leave indent after nights sleep this new Eve Firm has made my sleep and back better and I haven't even had it a month, highly recommended and better on the pocket plus going to a company in the U.K.

The mattress was poorly packaged, not in the box the super king size and because the bed frame has not arrived my kids are pouring liquid around it,,I had to go buy extra nylon to cover it so it can be a little bit protected,I was disappointed, because I have been a customer since 14years now. I had to put it on the sofa to avoid spilling on it.

I'm liking my eve mattress, as it is very comfortable. I bought the medium firm and very glad I did, as it is firm but still a bit of give with it. I have a bad back and sciatica, therefore I need a good mattress for a good nights sleep and so far that is what I am having and in the morning I have no pain. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

I'm 50 years old and have suffered bad sleep for years. I've got a bad back and shoulder from my job and gone through a stage of sleep apnea, This mattress is a game changer. Very Firm, but moulds to you after a few nights breaking in, and so comfy and supportive. Wasn't sure first few nights, but it really is good for a well rested sleep. Feels way softer than when I tried it in store. Definitely not good for painful back. You wake up in a dip and sink in when sat on the edge. If I didn't have to pay redelivery, 10% value of the mattress and having to pick another, the same value mattress or loose money it would be gone!

Just what I wanted. A mattress with no springs, that doesn't bounce when you turn, make squeaky sounds, tip you off the edge or move when your partner turns. We love the firmness and we're not overheating even in this stifling weather. Now just to sort out the duvet sharing....

Probably the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. Never having previously used a memory foam mattress, I would typically go for medium firmness but decided to try something different. I have no regrets, as someone who has quite significant back issues I highly recommend.

Very pleased with our new mattress. Firm but comfortable. The only slight negative is the mattress covering is very shiny which causes the sheet to loosen. We bought deep fitted sheets to try and eliminate this issue but to no avail.
