Ottoman bed frame was exactly as shown in shop. It supports extra firm mattress brilliantly and has ample space underneath. I have two gripes. Salesman said it would take about an hour to build; it took me five! Luckily, I'm middle-age so I started early otherwise we would not have had a bed to sleep on that night. The frame fitted together well, however, there were two annoying screws that connected the mattress support to the pneumatic arms that wouldn't screw in fully because the heads were too big to pass over bolts on the arms. It hasn't affected ottoman action of the frame. I plan to buy similar size screws with smaller heads to rectify this as it bothers me greatly!

Absolutely love my new Annabelle bed frame and my new Igel mattress. I fell in love with it in the gorgeous blue velvet as soon as I saw it in the showroom. Build quality is excellent and it has a hard base to the storage rather than the Velcro you get in most ottoman beds. Service has been excellent from start to finish. I paid to have it assembled and the two man team were fast, friendly and tidy. They treated my house with the upmost respect. I cannot fault Bensons and will be returning for new mattresses for my children very soon.

Love the bed frame - it's very sturdy and looks expensive. Really pleased that the base is raised off the floor of the bedroom, and the "floor" of the internal storage seems fairly strong although we are only using for clothes/bedding. I was surprised that the bed arrived flat packed and we had to assemble. Perhaps that's the norm, I just wasn't prepared and hadn't read it anywhere on the website or during the purchase process and we even popped into store to try it out and chat to someone before ordering online.

I am very pleased with my new Annabelle bed It arrived in the time slot, having had a phone call from the delivery team, about 30 minutes before hand. It was delivered carefully to where I wanted, and I was impressed they both wore overshoes. They were both very helpful and very careful. Everything was all present, correct, and very well packed. The instructions were easy to follow. Benson Beds have been very easy to deal with, and I would highly recommend.

Yes it's a nice bed looks great once assembled but the fixing screws are of a shocking quality. The metal they are made from is so soft that the allen key sockets round off very easily even when you don't tighten that much. I even used a brand new good quality allen key to assemble but still had problems with the heads rounding on some screws as the are so poor quality........its a shame as this let's the quality of the bed down.

Duncan and Anthony arrived on time and quickly assembled the beds we have taken delivery of today. They tidied up afterwards and took the cardboard etc after demonstrating how to safely open and close the ottoman beds. The beds - Annabelle and Sandra styles are both very lovely looking beds albeit very heavy to move. Whole delivery and installation with two hours.

Excellent bed which was easy to assemble if you take your time and follow the instructions.. As you build it, you might think the hinge isn't going to go down but have have faith. We bought Annabelle ottoman bed frame 3 months ago. We like the quality and look of it . It took 2 hrs for the bed frame to set up as it has a box for storage rather than keeping stuff on the floor . The only downside is it is very heavy for me lift the base to store underneath the bed.

Took nearly a day to build on my own, you will need another pair of hands to fit the mattress frame. Couple of the bolts are a little bit fiddly where they join the hydraulic pistons. Pretty solid and well made, bed looks better than it did in the showroom, very happy with it.

Very nice bed,would recommend this bed aslong as you look after it and be gentle. I think a couple of improvements could be made to bed to make it sturdier and also a handle or loop strap at bottom to make opening of bed easier. But should be ok aslong as not mistreated.

The instructions to put this bed together were very easy to follow. It did take us about 4 hours but well worth it. It feels very solid. The headboard is very soft and the colour is a beautiful deep blue, gives a hint of luxury to our bedroom.
