The bed is of good quality & VERY heavy! The material is luxurious and soft and looks good in the anthracite colour. The supplied Sharp TV seems to be pretty decent: good picture, good selection of apps which include all the mainstream ones that you're likely to use, plus more niche ones such as Plex. The soundbar connected up fine and all works OK from the speakers. Take great care when plugging everything in to ensure no pins are bent, especially on the main data cable. For non surround sources, turn off the Atmos setting as the centre speaker for dialogue is swamped otherwise and speech can be hard to hear. The lift function is fancy and works, although sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own. Already, we've taken to switching the AV plug off at the wall to stop the TV coming up on its own which it did once! It was probably the Firestick doing some sort of shenanigans and waking the lift up, but it was a rude awakening. Bed is super comfy with an iGel 4000 mattress and some Egyptian cotton 400 thread count percale bedding! Areas for improvement. The manuals were clearly written with someone for whom English wasn't a native language. For the price paid, a bound manual would be more acceptable than a printed, stapled one. The manual is easy to follow BUT CRUCIALLY...assemble the bed EXACTLY where it will be located as once put together, you're not moving it! Also do step 36 of the instructions first and get the LED lights and USB chargers connected up and working, otherwise you've got it all built and against the wall, then you have to unzip the back of the headboard to get the cables out. This is next to impossible when the entire thing weighs in excess of 150kgs. Also make sure the frame is square before going too far (measure corner to corner on each side and the measurements should match). I was able to assemble it on my own with no help but I'm used to assembling pack flat furniture. The bed boards are very heavy though. A YouTube assembly video would have helped. Communications from order to delivery were great and the delivery team couldn't do enough to help.

Wish we had just bought a standard bed Base and added our own LED lights. Started off with a dodgy charging point as both charging points were not working at the same time, then the TV started going up and down on its own accord. Called customer services, asked for videos of charging points. Sent them and they forgot about us for ages. Called again, this lady actioned it. Had a call from the bed manufacturer to state 'the bed cannot draw enough power for both to charge devices at the same time' right ok so what's the point? Also now mis sold the bed as was told that was a 'perk' easier running and extension lead to both side behind the bed rather than his drama. Sent a technician to be told it was a faulty 'amp' and to wait for the part to be delivered and then book them back in. The part took around 6 weeks. Ridiculous, then 2 weeks for them to come back. Just fitted today and now my laptop won't link up, or the Xbox, the sound isn't going up and down on TV remote. The TV won't go down with normal remote anymore. It'd all just a joke. The light light under the bed is cheap battery operated and has fallen off already. It's honestly a cheap mess. 3000 for a huge hassle, headache and bother. The engineer also said ' all of these beds are having the same issues'. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. 5 hours to assemble, and countless hours getting the right TV bed/sound bar settings. The surround sound bar is awful. You can literally hear no talking and just random loud noises on the surround in parts of the movie/programme. My advice, get a cheaper Base, invest in decent LED lights surrounding the bed, pop your own decent TV and soundbar on the wall opposite and then get an electrician to add 2 plugs either side if needed (even then you will probably save a 1000 minimum). From previous reviews seems we are all having the same issue.

We ordered our Superking Aura TV bed from the Stoke-on-Trent store. Kingsley and Amanda were very helpful in assisting us with trying and choosing our bed, two bedside Kuban bedside drswers/tables and 180cm artisan grand cr mattress. The delivery was very successfully completed by Paul and Ian. We had accurate, timely updates via email, text and finally a phone call 20- 30 mins prior. We worried about whether it would fit into our home (3 storey newish build cira 2011). Paul and Ian managed it really well and all boxes were on the right floor (middle) within 20 minutes. Expected 7-9am. Called at 6.35am. Arrived 7am. All boxes in the right place by 7.20. Bed built by 14.00. We read the very helpful reviews here previously (thank you previous reviewers) so we knew we had to read instructions in advance (we downloaded them online the 48hrs beforehand) and that Step 36 should be step 1 as it involved unzipping the back of the headboard. There was a step in step 29 that required undoing one of the gas struts so board O could be attached to the ottoman base, ehich wasn't clearly stated. My husband did the entire bed construction solo but said step 26, putting the ottoman boards P and O on, is where he could've done with a hand. After the bed was delivered at 7.20am, he spent approx 90mins unboxing everything and loading the car for the tip. We had a 45 min breakfast break and two comfort breaks (one for a grocery delivery). The mattress was on the bed ready for bedding by 14.00. The TV was easy to install. We've slept on the bed very comfortably for a little while now and are very pleased with our purchase. We use the USB-C chargers and the lights work well too. We have the matching drawers and the set looks lovely. We are really happy and sleeping very soundly.

The tv bed looks lovely but the system is abysmal. The first tv I received was faulty; it took me several attempts to get it replaced and another month for delivery. Now that I have this bed for 8 months, I can say that it is an absolute pain. The dolby surround system is unreliable, the sound effects are just wrong no matter what movie one watches. The tv (Sharp) itself is a joke, it needs to be unplugged and plugged back in several times a week because it refuses to switch on. Then, the system is very slow, not loading properly and the image is half stuck most of the time. My living room tv does not have such issues, neither did the previous bedroom tv. I would replace it but after spending so much money on this tv bed, I struggle to justify the price of a decent telly. The electric system is not fully compatible with the tv or just altogether badly designed. The tv should switch on when you switch the bed on, and switch off together. Well, it does not. If you leave the tv up and that's how you start up the system, you need to switch the tv on separately. wlWhen you switch the tv bed on, it takes a good 20sec to start up and it immediately lowers the tv down. When the tv is lowered into the housing, the system does not switch the tv off. The bed remote should work for both the bed and the tv but 90% of the time it does not. The assembly instructions are very vague and not intuitive. That's true both for the bed frame and the electric system. The assembly order is likewise bad, imagine assembling this heavy bed only to find out that the wiring for the side speakers and lights are only accessible at the back of the headboard, which is now against the wall. Overall, I don't understand how such a big company can release such a poorly designed product.

I wish I had never purchased a 3,000 Aura TV bed from Bensons for Beds. What should have been a premium product and experience has turned into an absolute nightmare. 1.Damaged on Arrival - The bed arrived with a cosmetic defect on one of the surround speakers, and I had to fight for any meaningful compensation. Their initial offer was a laughable 56, which they reluctantly increased to 125 with a replacement headboard or 225 if I kept the damaged one. 2.More Faults Discovered - As if that wasn't bad enough, I later found that the soundbar in the footboard (which box was water damaged on arrival) was faulty-one speaker doesn't work, and the LED lights are completely dead. How does a 3,000 bed pass quality control with so many defects? 3.Ridiculous Wait Times - I now have to wait nearly a month for a replacement, meaning I'm stuck with a faulty product for weeks. Given the price of this bed, I expected much better service. 4.No Assembly Support - While they have agreed to reimburse the cost of hiring a fitter, I have to source one myself and provide a VAT invoice. This is an unnecessary hassle, especially when the bed is heavy and requires wiring. They should be arranging this directly instead of pushing the responsibility onto the customer. 5.Terrible Customer Service - The entire experience has been stressful and frustrating, with Bensons doing the absolute bare minimum to fix the issue. There's no urgency, no proper apology, and no real concern for customer satisfaction. I would never buy from Bensons for Beds again and strongly advise others to avoid them. If you spend thousands on a bed, you should expect quality and good service, not defective products, poor compensation, and long waits for a fix. Avoid this company!

I remember when we purchased this bed, we saw some mixed reviews on here. I'm glad we made our own judgment and bought it, because its a fantastic bed! A couple of things to note. Allow a day to get this bed constructed. If DIY is not your thing get someone who knows what they are doing to build it. Most of it can be built with one person but there will be stages where you need two, no matter how good you are! It took me 7 hours and I make/build bespoke furniture and renovate houses for a living. Once built, the bed looks super plush and works really well. The base is fantastic for the Eve memory foam mattress we bought at the same time. The lights look fab and the surround speaker system is a nice bonus. The sound system can be a little temperamental, but for us it's not a problem, you just have to play with the settings from time to time. The tv up/down mechanism is smooth and reliable so far (3 months use). The 'free'' tv is slow to start up but once on, works ok (easy to replace for something better if you want I suppose). Id recommend buying the marching bedside tables with the same lighting, the whole set looks amazing together. Finally, this thing is really really heavy (we have the superking). You won't be moving it without taking it to bits, so make sure you build it in the right place (and get a new carpet down before building it, if that's something you plan to do in the near future!) We love this bed, for us its been a 5* purchase. Bensons were great too- although out of stock at time of purchase, everything arrived a month sooner than we were advised and the communication was excellent throughout.

I've had this bed for over a month and I honestly have to say it's a lot better than I expected. I read the reviews after purchasing (classic mistake) and was almost regretting my decision but have since been pleasantly surprised. It was well packaged with anything slightly vulnerable double/triple protected. The instructions are easy to follow but take note of the other reviews re steps. Once built, you're not moving it! The size of the headboard and TV foot unit are bulky and exceptionally heavy. If we'd gone for super king we wouldn't have got it up the stairs. The build quality is really solid. It took about 4 hours by myself to put together and I'd class myself as a competent diy'er and tech savvy. Sound quality is decent and it has a number of Bluetooth connections for portable devices to connect to. The TV has 1 hdmi connection but that isn't a problem as the inbuilt sub has 3. The tv has popped up on a few occasions uncommanded in the middle of the night as a few others have said but it hasn't happened recently. The usb c ports are fast charge compatible so that was another pleasant surprise. Overall really happy with the purchase and service received.

We purchased this bed in king size with mattress and TV. I admit that the bed and mattress are very good and well made. However, stay away from the included TV. Instead, take the bed without it and order your own from the shop. It is advertised as a smart TV but is definitely not smart. The Toshiba operating system does not allow you to install any apps beyond what is already on TV. So despite having Apple TV and Sky's NOW TV subscriptions, we can not use them in the bedroom. Also, TV does not allow casting from your mobile or laptop. Absolutely useless piece of crap. The picture quality is atrocious too with FPS rate so low that when watching anything fast moving in higher resolution, the image is full of artifacts or freeze frames. I just can't comprehend how Bensons can justify putting low-level budget tv into one of their most premium beds. At such a small size of TV the difference to get the TV just a little bit more capable would be negligible. Instead it spoils the whole satisfaction from the product.

Wevlove this bed , however be prepared for plenty of teething troubles , the first being putting it together ....... It took two of us , Myself and a guy whom I had to get in to do the job. It took us nearly 8 hours and the chap who we got in to do it was a kitchen fitter / electrician, At times he was baffled . The trick is to read the instructions extremely carefully , sometimes you may have to skip one bit and go back to it , but you will eventually get there. Do the headboard wiring first , and have plenty of weetabix , because this thing is really heavy , we have laminate floor in our bedroom , and luckily it did slide into place , but if you have carpets , get a crane in. Once you get going it is a challenge , and at times very frustrating however the end result is amazing , the bed is fantastic when assembled. DONT TRY AND DO IT ON YOUR OWN. You will need someone who actually has some sort of knowledge about flatpack furniture.

DO NOT PURCHASE this bed!! I have waited a while to post a review so it's as honest and accurate as possible. I can honestly say this has been the worst purchase in my life, I don't even know where to start. This bed was not CHEAP! The tv bed we had before that was nearly 10 years old was better than this and with NO problems. I'm so angry and so annoyed with bensons for beds I can't even describe. Side speaker was damaged when arrived, voices wasn't in sync and basically can't to this day watch Netflix or YouTube without problems and it's connected to a WiFi extender which is 2 metres away from the bed. Even just now I tried to load up Netflix and it won't load up, also youtube lags all the time and when people speak no sound comes out so I'm sat here having to guess what has been said! Understand this I'm sat here laying on a Tv bed and having to watch Netflix on my phone.. what a joke! I don't even want to give it 1 star.

Don't be mislead by the negative comments, this really is a beautiful bed ! We have had ours now for 6 months, it is in stunning velvet blue which is amazing to touch and has a very premium feel to it. The charging points on the side of headboard are a bonus (USB and USBC) and the back-lighting is actually a part of the headboard rather than a stuck-on afterthought like some others. There are a couple grumbles I have, the bed does not come with fitting (unlike Dreams which costs circa 100 or so) and believe me, it will take 5 hours or so for self installation however it is not difficult to put together. Also the TV does randomly come up in the middle of the night for some reason, however I hope this can be rectified once I speak to customer services. Despite these grumbles, I would 100% recommend this bed, we looked at many other beds however none had the quality or the "wow" factor this still gives us.

Very expensive for the amount of errors. It is a little bit of luxury especially the blue in colour one but the bit they don't tell you is the back board is where all the electrical set up and cables are. The bed is very heavy and if anything needs adjusted in the back board you need to open out the side. If this is against the wall it would be impossible. Luckily we made it a bit ahead of the wall but this creates an uncessary gap between wall and bed and due to heaviness of bed unable to move. Should really have a feature to move the bed if needed. The lights also did not work and needed replacing and refitting which again would require the bed to not be against the wall. When resting on the back board as it is not against the wall it makes it difficult. The tv inside is great but the surround sound doesn't work.

Ok the bed is ok and the tv is ok. But the surround sound is a bit pointless as you just hear the tv in one ear as a speaker is right next to your head either side. The surround sound keeps getting out of sync with the tv which is annoying. So we turned it off. Now for what they don't tell you the bed and bedside drawers have charging points big selling point for us but when dark you are in a light show of flashing blue lights it's crazy. The bed itself is sturdy and very very heavy so appears to be well built. Unfortunately for us it was a complete waste of money as we had no choice but to switch it off because of the flashing blue lights from every charger point. The staples mattress is absolutely fantastic best sleep we have had for years. No more aches and pains when we get up in the morning.

Had the superking for about 5 months now... Bed looks nice, that's about it, definitely isn't worth full price! One side LED didn't work, shoddy wiring and took ages to get a replacement and a technician to fit it, also noticed one sideboard came broken near the end, still useable though and no difference once I got it built... Assembly instruction steps are in the wrong order, I found out the hard way... TV is ok, media set up overly complicated for no reason, surround sound is rubbish, and the lift for the TV randomly comes up in the middle of the night a few times a week at least! Have to use both remotes to work it all as the HDMI ARC functions only sporadically. It's comfy as hell though, mainly down to our separate mattress choice! It's a very expensive gimmick, save your money.

Bed looks great however a few issues. Firstly ridiculously heavy and we cannot move it if we need to. The tv has been a pain has a mind of its own and works when it wants to. Sometimes the screen goes up and down for no reason. Should be a button on the bed to lift the tv up in case you misplace the remote. Surround sound is good when you get settings right but when it automatically does it you can hear anyone talk just all the background noise. Massive gap between headboard and mattress or if we push it up massive gap at the bottom. Just disappointed when we hadn't had a new bed in a very long time and decided on something we though gave a bit of luxury

Aura Ottoman in Grey ... Well made and very Luxurious bed, very thoughtfully designed and really impressed with the craftmanship. Sound is fabulous. Took 5 hours for me and my partner to put together (mostly him !) Really well packaged. One of the boxes is very big so you need to check you have the ceiling height to get it up the stairs, just made it on mine. Reading the reviews really helped us as you need to make sure you wire the headboard in before fitting the bed together as it is very heavy ! What a bonus we brought this over a Bank Holiday and got a huge discount, really happy and it comes with a five year guarantee :)

This bed truly is a show stopper, the fabric is gorgeous and the whole tv, lights, etc is just next level!!! Building the bed took 7 hours for 2 of us to do and if you buy this bed it's pretty straight forward HOWEVER be sure to to the head board wiring FIRST then move your headboard to the exact place you want your bed once put together if you have carpet especially the bed is a beast and ridiculously HEAVY, you'll struggle to move it or to get behind the headboard to do the wiring (which is on one of the last steps in the instructions) Honestly you have to do the headboard wiring first!!! You'll thank me for this advice

Absolutely one of the best things I've ever purchased, bed has good surround sound speakers , LOUD too!!! Light are nice in head board, storage under bed is massive. We had the kind size. Tv prefect size as it's closer at the bottom of the bed than on the wall , mattress is comfortable and had great nights sleep since had this bed ..I know people will say it's a lot to pay for a bed BUT you spend half ur life Sleeping so SLEEP WELL !!!!! Love it , can't complain not even on the price tag the quality is great , u pay a good price for good quality , overall very happy , thanks benson for beds

Firstly the delivery guys were on the ball and very helpful, they lugged the heavy box's upstairs to the designated room. The bed took about 5hrs to build on my own at first then daughter held my screwdriver. When completed and was able to push in place (very very heavy when built), it was the best night sleep in years. Still figuring out the surround sound, sounds like oneside is faulty but not wanting to endure the build again will live with it. Set aside plenty of time to build and my advice would be to set the headboard up first so it's in position ready to build fully where you want it.

Amazing bed. Very well made. Easy to put together but does take time. Definitely set up the lights on the headboard before putting into final position. Beware, headboard is big! Wouldn't go up our stairs. Don't believe delivery guys who will say it will do if "you remove the handrail". It was nowhere near the handrail! Feeling helpless went back to Bensons who said could return for cost of deposit 470! Luckily a joiner was able to remove and replace the stairs with screws. It's up there and looking grand but would not buy from Bensons again.

Bed looks the part, the audio system is great once you've got it set up right. TV is pretty standard but nothing exciting. The instructions though? Horrendous. It tells you to build it in situ because of the weight of the bed itself but then on the last page it tells you to take cables out of the back of the headboard to connect the lights, which if you built it against a wall is pretty impossible so you need to move the very heavy bed which is now fully assembled and if you move it wrong it will break.

Wow, wow, wow.. absolutely perfect! Finally no more stiff neck looking up at the TV on the wall and the surround sound is absolutely fantastic! Took a bit of time to build, 2 people 3.5 hours and wow is it heavy duty! I'm so glad the delivery was to the room of choice, as I don't think I could have lifted it upstairs.. well built, comes with everything you need to get it set up and very well instructed by the manual.

Overall rating should be a 5 star comfort level is 10/10 amazing sleep every night. The reason why it's such a low rating is because it took myself 4hrs to assemble. I read the reviews before I did assemble the bed and it was a good job. Before you do anything go to the last page of the instructions and plug the head board into the main supply. It's impossible to move once it's installed unless you have 6 people.

Bed is great looks great but the reason you have a TV bed is so you can see the tv, I've raised it twice and now it doesn't work. Less than 6hour it's been together and already had to take it apart expose the wiring to see if I could troubleshoot. No real troubleshooting documents available and no support over the weekend. I will be going to store tomorrow as I'm not impressed after waiting months to get it.

This is a well-constructed bed with loads of great features, but there are several complaints about the time it takes to build it. If you live in the Midlands I can build it for you. Cost is 100-120 depending on distance and will take me around 90 minutes, which includes installing the TV to your wifi and checking all the sound works. 20 years experience and a recommended fitter for 12 B4B stores.

Purchased this bed and mattress from Bensons. The delivery chaps were friendly and efficient. High quality components and luxurious fabric. The putting together instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took two of us approximately 5 hours to put together. The TV picture and surround sound are wonderful. I am very happy with my bed to the point of where I don't want to get out of it. I spend most of my time in bed watching television programmes or movies. The sound quality is amazing for movies and music. I recommend this bed to anyone who is thinking of upgrading their bed or just getting a new one. You would not be disappointed. I am not :-)

The bed I never thought I needed but can't imagine life without. A luxuriously designed bed equipped with everything a modern tech lover needs. Smooth electric TV system, excellent picture and surround sound amongst much more. Would be 5* but the assembly was very time consuming (however absolutely worth your time!).

This is a great bed BUT no warning from sales team on the weight and construction!! Customer services was terrible when needing advise and sales team from store just as bad. Would never buy from bensons again. But delivery lads were brilliant with lugging the bed in 7/8 boxes up the stairs!

Paid for installation before Christmas, it was installed incorrectly and had ripped fabric. The surround sound intermittent at best, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. The bed itself is decent and the matress we got with it is excellent but the tech for this bed is abysmal, had nothing but problems with it. The TV and amp are poor quality, ruining the experience. Waited 3 months for a replacement, no problem. The fitters did a great job replacing the bed frame today but now they've just left and the TV isn't working at all with my Chromecast, the HDMI lead is hanging loose in the TV and the picture is flickering on and off. I've just had enough with this bed now, if you're looking at one be prepared to replace the amp and TV with something that works. Customer service and the bed fitters have all been great in my experience, just cheap tech letting everything else down.

I purchased a bed from Bensons for Beds in February 2026 and have had ongoing issues throughout. The original bed had visible damage, which required parts to be replaced. A further fault then developed with the TV mechanism and was due to be repaired, but the repair team were unresponsive despite repeated attempts to contact them. As a result, I lost confidence and a full replacement bed was arranged instead. Unfortunately, the replacement bed was also faulty on arrival, with the TV stand fitted unevenly and scraping against the frame. After multiple issues, repair attempts, and a full replacement, I have now decided to return the bed for a full refund. Very disappointing quality and far too many problems for a new purchase.
