Pocket springs + Mini pocket springs when combined with memory foam all comes together to create the perfect package.

Soft tension will particularly reward side sleepers, although back sleepers may require a bit more support.

Fairly breathable materials which should provide a cooler nights sleep than competing brands, although for a true all-season product there should be considerations toward a latex or wool comfort layer.

Today we're looking a little deeper at a mattress that's got me all kinds of excited - the Eve Hybrid Duo Plus. This fluffy, award-winning gem is like sleeping on a cloud and it's also perfect for anyone who's all about comfort, quality, and convenience. When I ran my hand over the top, the cover felt properly soft and a bit bouncy under my palm. The best part? It's kind to our planet too thanks to the fabric fillings made from recycled plastic bottles. So, grab your fave PJs, and let's dive into this dreamy review.

First off let me just say that the Good Housekeeping Institute has given this mattress a big ol' thumbs up for its quality and comfort and honestly, who are we to argue with them? The Eve Hybrid Duo Plus is a rolled hybrid mattress, which means it's delivered all snug and compressed, ready for you to unleash its heavenly powers in your bedroom. Just be aware, like most rolled mattresses, you can get a bit of that 'new mattress' smell for the first day or two while it airs out.

Now, let's talk springs - this baby's got 2900 dual layer pocket springs! It's like a trampoline and a marshmallow had a love child. These mini and full-height springs work together to adapt to your every twist and turn, making sure you get the support you need, no matter your sleeping style.

My daughter wanted a soft but not sinkable double mattress with her new bed. Bensons were so helpful and very patient. Eventually she settled for the Hybrid duo plus and absolutely loves it. No negatives at all, ok there is a smell to begin with but not overpowering. So we bought the same for one of our spare bedrooms. Having autoimmune arthritis I have spent years in agony lying in bed, unable to sleep on any side even considering sleeping in a lounge chair. Assuming it was my arthritis getting worse I didn't consider the mattress until I had to move into the spare due to having the master renovated, I was really apprehensive also because I need a king size as I'm constantly moving around. Well it was a revelation, I had no back pain! I'm still in the spare room and will definitely be buying one very soon but a king size unfortunately to fit my bed. 5 star comfort for me.

Overall, the Evie Duo Hybrid feels really well-made and worth the money. It's comfortable, adaptable, and I wake up without aches or stiffness. Definitely one of the best mattresses I've tried! It feels super supportive around the edges, and I don't sink in too much when I sit or lie near the side. My partner moves around a lot at night, but I barely feel it. I've been sleeping on the mattress for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed. It has the perfect mix of softness and support. It's honestly the first mattress I've had that makes me look forward to going to bed every night.

I have had this mattress for 10 months. I left it to expand for 48 hours. It is very comfortable on my king-size sleepwave adjustable bed. I use a woolroom mattress protector for additional softness due to painful joints. There is no problem with temperature control that I have experienced with other foam mattresses. It is important to rotate the mattress as advised and you may need someone to help you do this if you have strength issues. It is a well worth investment and I highly recommend it.

Bought this, as it felt comfortable for my spine, in Store. My back is badly damaged and so any comfort for me is critical. Within months the mattress felt lumpy. It has gone in some areas. By that I mean it has large dips and no support whatsoever. I am slight in stature and so no heavy weight has been on the mattress. I am in agony all night tossing and turning, which then affects me all day, every day. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS.

Very comfortable mattress, a replacement for the firm one i've had for many years. I was a bit dubious of this type of mattress at first but it seemed quite supportive in the shop when i tried it and being as it has real springs inside this swayed my choice. I've now had it for a few weeks and find it very comfortable indeed giving me a much deeper nights sleep, i highly recommend it to anyone looking for replacement mattress.

Excellent service from Bensons and had the best nights sleep ever on my Hybrid Duo plus, soft, mattress. Gets more comfy with use! You can't use an electric blanket though at least not recommended. But the mattress feels warm to get on even on cold nights. There's always a hot water bottle though if you need it. Helpful sales person, no hard sell.. not a cheap mattress but well worth the money.

I'm a side sleeper, weighing 10st 7oz so I opted for a softer mattress. However this mattress is awful, way too soft, no support at all (despite being a hybrid and having dual layer pocket springs). I wake up with back up every morning :(. On top of that it feels like one half of the mattress is softer than the other. Very unhappy. Not recommended

The mattress is very substantial, it unrolled quickly and was usable within the 24hours. It feels good soft to the touch, very nice fabric But it is not as soft as I was expecting. I am having to use a memory foam mattress topper with it to get the required level of support, which I was hoping not to do. I hope it becomes softer with use

This mattress is so comfortable it makes it really hard to get out of bed in the morning! We tried lots of different mattresses in store and the member of staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The service was excellent and we really felt listened to. This mattress is very good. I have arthritis and cannot tolerate a firm mattress. This offers good support. I have added a wool filled mattress protector and this has not affected the properties of the mattress. I am using it on an adjustable bed, and have been assured by Benson's that it is compatible.

I was expecting to need a while to adjust to this, but it was surprisingly quick - I slept comfortably from night 1! My only reason to drop a star is because it's taking a while for the chemical smell to go away despite fresh sheets. I still notice it a month later when I walk into the bedroom.

A lot softer and less supportive than our previous mattress which would have worked fine with the adjustable bed we bought this mattress to go with as recommended by Bensons. I find that my wife and I tend to gravitate towards the middle of the mattress as that's where it is softest.

I still haven't received it as the wrong mattress was sent and I had to wait another 3 weeks for the right one to be delivered. It's been a very uncomfortable few weeks sleeping in a rock hard mattress, not the soft mattress I paid for originally! Disappointing service so far

Very comfortable and only took maybe a day or so to settle. Been sleeping on our new mattress for around 1 month now with no issues it still has the chemical smell but its super comfortable, supportive and has been the first matterss ive been able to sleep on my back in ever.

Fantastic. My wife woke regularly in a lot of joint pain but this mattress has been a complete game changer. It is the first time in years she is not waking up in agony. It is incredibly comfortable and we both feel properly rested when we wake. Totally recommend.

Don't buy this mattress! It has given us backache. Customer care are refusing to acknowledge the problem despite the reviews! It was nothing like the mattress in store and after a couple of months we now have really bad back pain every morning! Awful mattress!!

It took a week to adjust to the new mattress but now I find it very comfy. My only gripe is that I bought it to go on a double bed base and the metric size means that it does come quite come to the edge and I keep knocking my legs on the hard side.

Reasonably soft as described and took a while to settle but is still a little lumpy at times. You need to stay well way from the edge of the mattress to find a reasonable comfortable area. Stuck with it for now but wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I don't know how I am supposed to review the mattress delivered to us and the bed we also ordered won't be delivered for 3 months. I wouldn't buy a DVD player before a TV. I don't understand why Benson for beds have done that very thing

The mattress is soft and comfortable, unfortunately it smells very strongly of new car tyres apparently you need to let it 'air out' for three weeks. Eight weeks later it still smells but not as strongly.

We bought the mattress online after trying it in store. Not the best experience as the shop assistant was very pushy towards the pricier products even after we'd discussed our budget. Delivery was on the day/time expected, no issues there. The mattress comes in a cylindrical wrap and needs enough time to expand before using it. It is extremely comfortable especially for side sleepers who move a lot at night. The reason for 4* is that after 2 weeks or so the memory foam didn't spring back at all and we were left with large dips in the mattress. In the time we've had it we've already had to turn it 3-4 times to give the mattress time to bounce back. This is working for now, but it doesn't fill me with hope that it will last. Because of this issue I wouldn't recommend to anyone on the heavier side or in need of reliabile support.

well what can we say after accepting the delivery of our new bed and base we did notice that it was smelling so we went back to the store and told the manager and was asked to call customer services which we did. the sent out one of their engineers to inspect the mattress and said what had we done to try to sort the smell we told him we had the room aired all day put a fan in the room even brought a dehumidifier to try to get rid of the smell.after a couple more months the smell was still their so rang up customer services again they have been brilliant the agreed to exchanged the mattress there were no arguments about it whats so ever SO MY HAT COMES OFF TO BENSON'S FOR BEDS AND ALL THEIR STAFF ...... THANK YOU SO MUCH such Excellent service !!!!!!!!!!

I have to give this mattress one star as I have had for only a few weeks and I have been sleeping on my sofa for 4 days. I do have a lot of pain in my body so really needed at comfortable mattress to ease the pain, but this does not do that for me. It hurts my back, thighs, hips and neck. This comes with a 40 day guarantee, but it would cost me a lot of money to change it and have the new one delivered. So, now I am stuck with a very expensive mattress that I cannot sleep on. 1/2 hour in the store lying on the mattress is not enough time to know whether the mattress is suitable for you, if you are disabled, so be careful of this one!

Very flat until aired for a few hours, but by bedtime looked as it did in shop display. In use it was very comfortable to lie on and when sitting up for morning cuppa. Felt warmer than I was accustomed to on my previous very expensive mattress (£1000+!) and for the first time in years haven't missed my electric blanket; just use a hot water bottle for my feet until I lie down. Unlike my last mattress which I couldn't move more than 2 inches, I can completely turn this one unaided. Very satisfied.

I bought the eve mattress believing it to be soft as I suffer from pain in my hips and thighs. It's just bearable sleeping on my back but in the morning my legs feel numb. As for sleeping on my side as I like to do it's impossible. My hip and thigh hurt immediately. I've given it a good try but it just doesn't suit me at all.So no I wouldn't recommend it if you are a side sleeper. Very disappointing. No

I'm not at al satisfied. This mattress is NOWHERE near as soft as the same mattress displayed in the shop. I bought it because it was soft and this mattress once unrolled and left for 48hrs as per the instructions is definitely medium to firm. It's not like it just needs time it is completely different to the mattress displayed in the shop. Disappointed.

This was the best mattress me and my partner have ever purchased and for such an amazing price with the discounts! It took a week or so to wear in properly but even from the first night we both commented on how comfortable and cosy it was and how we had the best nights sleep! I had a bad back prior to changing my mattress to this one, my back has improved hugely and now I am no longer in pain. It really has improved my back problems so much already and couldn't imagine going back to my old one now. The hybrid style is perfect for a bit of firmness and a bit of 'give' if you are a side sleeper like me.

This mattress has firm areas and a soft area to one side. I think it has been used previously and sent back to the warehouse, checked over then sent to me as "new". I am in the process of sleeping on different parts then swivelling it to try and even up the wear. I am not happy with it at all for the price.

I was worried that it wouldn't plump up but it did. Very comfortable. Because of the head board it slightly overhangs the bottom of the base but when the bedding is on that is not a problem.
