Construction & materials
The Mlily Hybrid Gel 3000 is a rolled hybrid mattress that is vacuum-packed and boxed for delivery. Once you get it home, you open and unroll it, at which point it expands to its full 27 cm depth. You will be advised to air it for about four hours before using it to let the mattress settle and disperse any factory odour, which is standard for a rolled mattress.
In the middle is a pocket spring unit with 3000 individually wrapped springs in the king size. This spring count is on the generous side for this price range and it should mean more precise contouring and better motion isolation than a basic open-coil or low-count pocket sprung mattress. Practical features
Delivery and set-up are straightforward for a rolled mattress. It comes vacuum packed and rolled, so it is much easier to manoeuvre up tight stairs and through narrow doorways than a flat full-size mattress. When you get it home, you simply open the box, cut the wrapping and let it expand. You will be advised to let it air for several hours before dressing the bed.
This is a no-turn design, so you will never have to flip it. You should still rotate it head to toe on a regular basis to spread out the wear, but that is much easier than the full workout of flipping a 27 cm deep mattress. For anyone with mobility issues, this is a real plus.

Compatibility-wise, it is suitable for most solid or slatted bed frames but if you are using slats, they should be no more than 7.5 cm apart to avoid dipping and also to keep the guarantee valid. Sizes on offer are double, king and super king, so there is a good range for most households but singles and small doubles are not available in this particular model.
