Hi I have an adjustable bed. brought my last Tempur mattress designed for adjustable beds about 8 years ago. I was sleeping less than an hour a night for 18 months and even scared to go to bed due to chronic pain. Being disabled you get VAT relief on items to help with your condition. When I purchased my first Tempur mattress I got VAT taken off when I purchased it. Due to not being able to sleep flat from 4 major spine and spinal cord surgeries all leaving me in more pain and worse off from surgery. We could not afford a new Tempur mattress really the only silver lining was we would get the VAT taken off went to same store, we live in same home. Staff said they don’t do it when you purchase in store anymore and it would be down by customer services. I gave them evidence and they sent that off when we brought the new mattress that is specifically designed for adjustable beds. I phoned after delivery to check about how much the payments would be with the VAT removed. But was very unhelpful and said it was a luxury purchase and not due VAT off. I explained that we confirmed before we brought it with the guys in the shop and they said it would be deducted through customer services. The mattress has work wonders and I’m now getting 3 hours sleep a night. Which is nearly four fold. The woman I spoke to probably 2 wks ago said a manager whom could deal with this was going to phone me at some point but still haven’t heard anything. We did everything right to ask and check.

Bought this mattress from Dreams almost one year ago. As with every new thing, you’re excited and see only the good parts, in this case, how confy the mattress is, how you don't feel when your partner moves, etc. But there's something really wrong with this mattress and this is not only my opinion, my wife strongly agrees with me. As long as you are alone in bed, Yes, it's amazing, you are floating, no pressure points, great sleep. But, and this is a big BUT: The mattress slowly sinks under your weight, taking the shape of your body ????. But what happens when two bodies are next to each other? The mattress obviously sinks, obviously in the middle of the bed, creating a massive "valley" and your bodies will be dragged at the bottom of that valley. You'll wake up in the night, like sitting in a hammock, glued to your partner. The sides of mattress are staying high and firm and the centre of the mattress will be at it's lowest. You will climb towards the side, trying to get out from the valley, and you'll find yourself back in again and again. You might think we are heavy people! Yeah right, I'm 72Kg and 1.87m that something like 11 stones and just over 6ft, and my Mrs is 62Kg, so I don't think we are overwhelming the mattress in any way. If you sleep alone in your bed, Yes, best thing the money can buy. If you are a couple, big NO! We've bought the tallest one, paid a lot of money, and not even one year later we are 100% it has to go, reason why I've decided to leave this review. Best of luck.

It does support most of your body rather well overall but if you are a man with wider shoulders you will wake up with shoulder and pain in your ribs without getting a good night's sleep. After spending a lot of money to upgrade to this bed I am left very disappointed as I have done nothing but toss and turn all night in discomfort. I will probably have to try and find a zoned mattress topper to cushion my shoulders which are like hen's teeth in the UK. For the sheer price of this mattress I would have thought the comfort layers would have been slightly thicker and I am a bit annoyed I will have to shop for more items to get a good night's sleep on it. We were sold this mattress believing that it would reduce pressure points but it's barely done that and compared to the old one and has put a lot of pressure on my spine and rib cage. This was after using the sleep match feature in-store so I am really hoping this mattress softens up a bit here in the problem areas. The whole gimmick about it being having cooling features is complete nonsense too, If anything it's a lot warmer than any bed I have had previously, but I sleep with a fan on so that's not the end of the world. Overall not all that impressed considering the price of it, considering I had to take finance out to pay for it too. If these mattresses had zoned support they would be top notch but I don't think they are built for men with wider shoulders.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it’s been amazing so far, the pocket springs combined with the memory foam pillow top makes this bed very comfy and a dream to sleep on! Far better than my old simba hybrid mattress as that one was all memory foam, Good pocket springs from a reputable company like silent night are the way to go! And the fact this bed has a pillow top to make it that lil bit comfier is great, the pillow top is lowkey essential.. The bed come a bit firmer than I’d have liked took 3 nights to break it in, then it was perfect and it’s been very comfy ever since! I didn’t see this bed in store as it’s online only but I’m so glad I went with this one absolute dream! Only negative I do have is the fact it took 2-3 weeks to arrive which meant I had to sleep on my neighbours 10 year old mattress while I waited for it to come, defo worth it though. Positives • Very comfortable • Pocket springs provide adequate support without reducing any comfort • It looks like a well built mattress that will last a long time • 8 year guarantee for a extra fee but wasn’t too expensive for the peace of mind provided • Look for excuses to get to bed earlier now • Perfect size (little bit smaller than my simba double but works well with my bed frame) • Good height mattress! • Mirapocket zoned springs are a great help to provide support & comfort Negatives • Took what felt like a month for the item to arrive • Can’t see the item in any store in the Uk for some reason it’s online only which is annoying • No handles on the sides so turning the bed round is a ball ache!! Overall I’d give it 5 stars so far I may do another review 6 months in and let you all know how I get on with it as I’m aware mattresses can change from 2 weeks - 6 months hopefully this one stays comfortable and supportive it looks well built so I’ve got a feeling this will be the case.. Good Points: This is a REALLY firm mattress, like sleeping on a floor. That is just what I wanted. I have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which means my skeleton is not held in place properly due to my connective tissue being 'floppy'. This is the best mattress I have ever owned (far better than 'luxury' brands costing upwards of £1,000) and supports my skeleton perfectly. At last, I can have a comfortable night's sleep and not wake up with dislocated joints (yes, that does happen) and severe pain all over my body. So, for me, this mattress is heaven itself. However, you have to realise that this is like sleeping on a breeze block for most of your body. If your current mattress is saggy, it is probably because it's old or worn or hasn't been turned properly. Do not buy a 'very firm' mattress to replace it unless you want a really HARD bed! Pretty much any new mattress will be firmer than an old one. This mattress is designed for people who are obese or disabled or have an extremely bad back that is permanent. I would imagine that for other people it would be way too firm. So beware of that before you buy. But if you know you want a very firm mattress, then believe me, you can't do better than this for the price. So long as you rotate it every week initially as recommended (after two months you can rotate it once a month), it does not sag. I have had mine about six weeks now and there is no sag whatsoever. Improvement Points: Why oh why are there no turning handles? Especially when this mattress is for people with bad backs etc? Come on manufacturers, this is so silly - just put handles on the mattress! If you are slim, please read the 'good points' - this mattress will probably leave you covered in bruises as it is so firm, so beware!

Good Points: Extremely light, one adult can pick it up for king size. Delivery is on time. Nothing else. Improvement Points: Extremely regrets to purchase it by below reason 1. It is not 'extra firm' as it states from our experience, and my family member got back pain experience next day morning when sleep on it. 2. Extremely light, one adult can easily pick it up alone for king size, not sure the material is strong enough or not inside the mattress. Since my previous mattress of other brand is extremely heavy and even two adult need hard to pick it up 3. If partners sleep and move the body on the mattress, I will feel the mattress is moving so if sleep on it better not move often otherwise partner hard get to sleep. 4. Edge is not strong than center, so even sit on it the edge, it will collapse and not balanced on whole. If sleep on it, it's better don't sleep near the edge, and you will feel it is a little bit collapsed and feel uncomfortable. 5. This mattress not supporting people steps on it from CS reply and it is claims as misuse and no warranty will be provided. Indeed, the mattress is not damage just very soft when step or push it by hands. It will collapsed easily. So, if anyone have the same case with us that have cabinet on top of our bed, than you should consider seriously since you need to step on the mattress for put in or remove things from the cabinet. Its the first time I heard mattress not support people step on it and it will void the warranty. From our previous experience, it is normal usage since mattress should be a strong product. Indeed, the mattress not got any worsen condition when we step on it to test the mattress firm level, it just not feel extra firm and comfortable in our mind. 6. When i ordered the mattress, I did not take any picture, and CS replied that when we placed the order on Oct 2022, it don't provide 60 days trial period. I was very surprised since CS reply trial sleep is new promotion after we placed the order. I did not take any evidence so I can only believe and accept it. 7. CS are not able to provide any help on my purchase. Only said that we misused since it don't support people step on it and it is misused even it is not damaged. After few email conversation, CS replied that we don't have 60 days trial sleeping on the mattress when we placed the order. We are very disappointing on it since we have mentioned our purchase date and provide order no from the beginning of email conversation. 8. Even it is a cheap model , but not actually cheap in the market that can found in other shops with other brands. Next time I will considered more carefully when placing order. 9. For anyone reference, I am around 65 KG and my husband is around 85KG. So we are not heavy weight person in general. 10. Most people give high marks of the mattress quality, only little give low marks. We should believe in low marks person rather than high mark person review and we are regretting on it.

Ordered a different mattress which was clearly not a new mattress, it had felt missing and marks on it, so I made a complaint and was told they would exchange it but when they came to exchange it, they wouldn't because of the marks on the mattress which they were already aware of as I'd sent pictures, then when I contacted the consumers rights website, they said they had to exchange it and they were liable for the delivery charges but they wouldn't pay the delivery and we had to pay another £49 to exchange this damaged item, if you purchase from an online store, the consumer's website states that by law the company are liable for the delivery fees!!! t They wouldn't budge on that but exchanged the mattress, only this time they brought the wrong one being an extra firm mattress when we had ordered and paid for a firm mattress. We contacted Dream's again to explain and was basically told we were stuck with it. I'm a disabled lady and this mattress is absolutely crippling for both me and my partner whom isn't disabled. I would never use Dreams again. The delivery lad's confirmed that half of the mattresses that people are getting have already been previously returned from other customers which would explain why they are all so bad in the first place. A disgrace of a company. I don't expect to purchase a new item that has already been used and sent back god only knows how many times previously? So we're £400 out of pocket and have had to throw this mattress away because I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy because it's so bad! Go and look at the real review websites and not the one's like trust pilot who remove bad reviews or don't let you post them!
