What a lovely mattress and like nothing we've had before. Last time we changed our mattress we went for one with a memory foam topper built in which proved to be a big mistake. The topper would move and we'd wake up in the night to find our pillows had disappeared down the back, so we knew we didn't want one of those again. Anyway. So having had this mattress around 4 weeks now and having slept on the cloud mattress for 4 weeks I can say this mattress has made a difference to my sleep. So previously I had a memory foam mattress from Ikea which cost me around £300, it was quite hard but we made do with it as I guess other things in life take precedent. OK, so having broken my back 40 years ago, I’ve spent a fair chunk of my disposable income on different mattresses and beds, latex, pocket sprung, Vi-Spring - you get my drift. Sadly, none of these gave me exactly the correct amount of support in the places where this was crucial to getting a peaceful, restful and refreshing night’s sleep. Fast-forward to our visit to “Dreams” at Plympton. Joy of joys! No pressure, no salesperson hovering over us as we tried to adopt unrealistic “sleeping” poses. I purchased this mattress a couple of months ago; having had our previous mattress for well over 8 years. Both myself and my partner prefer a firmer density in mattress, but not overly firm so it feels hard, and one that helps keep us cool. We started looking at various types; ruling out the cheap ones as they were horribly uncomfortable especially with their spring base. Eventually; we came to this one. The mattress is firm but not overly hard. The foam is at the perfect density for us - it moves and adapts to your body to help support you where you need it. We’re both happy with our choice and find it difficult to sleep on anything else. A word of caution - this was advertised as coming with a ‘cooling’ layer, which was great in the showroom. However, in real life circumstances - with a bottom sheet and protector on - there is no real benefit from the cooling layer. Don’t base your choice to buy the mattress solely on that. Another word of caution - the first few nights with this were dreadful. We expected to go to sleep on it and immediately drop off and feel like we were on a cloud. The first couple of nights were uncomfortable and it took a while to get used to, especially having not hadn’t a memory foam mattress before. Stick with it though - it’s an excellent mattress overall

I have looked at Tempur mattresses many times over the years, but the price was always a stumbling block. Recently, I decided that my existing mattress needed to be replaced, and, once again, I contemplated splashing out on a Tempur. I went into the Durham Dreams store to select a quality matress for my new built property. Once I told the store lady that my budget was around 700-1000 pounds for a matress, she took me to a section where they had the next generation memory foam mattresses. My girlfriend and I brought ourselves a new mattress as our Christmas present to each other. Previously, we had quite an old sprung mattress and I was sleeping intermittently for about half an hour at a time. I initially loved this pillow. However, it does go very flat, very quickly. The cool side is amazing for those of us who are of a certain age and suffer the hot flushes in the night. The opposite side is lovely and soft but too warm for me. I love the way the pillow scrunches up under my neck. The only issue for me is that it does need to be constantly 'plumped' and does not keep its shape. I have reverted back to my Tempur Original pillow which is very comfortable but does not stay cool like this one. Note to the designers of this pillow "if this pillow can be made to keep its shape better it will be perfect". I have bought many many pillows trying to find ones that suit me best and this rates as 9/10 and would be 10/10 if it did not go flat. For those of you looking for a cool pillow - it is perfect.

We have had the bed for a three weeks and so far it is very comfortable and no problems so far the only issue we had which the company have been superb was when un wrapping the bed the mattress had a spit in it I think it was accidentally done by the guys and within half hour I had a call and the brand new bed is being delivered tomorrow so no complaints there we used the bed simulator in store and this type of bed was recommended and I have to say we are sleeping very well on it getting off the sides don't seem as stable so we never try to sit on the edge but in fairness you shouldn't do this anyway but the whole process was excellent the salesman was superb and gave us really good advice and we are very happy so far like a say it's only been a few weeks but really am very happy with the mattress.
