The Hyde & Sleep Citrine Air Memory Foam Mattress is the latest in a fairly extensive line up of products in the new hybrid range from Hyde and Sleep.

For those that don't know, Hyde and Sleep deliver some of the more upper-tier mattresses in the Dreams line-up, focussing on premium quality and superior comfort to drive sales and the new hybrid citrine air is no different.

To start, this mattress actually combines the best of both worlds as it is available in both a medium and a firm tension, making it ideal for a multitude of different sleepers.

You see, what the Hyde & Sleep Hybrid Citrine Air Mattress does a little differently is feature a foam hybrid model where you get a multitude of different foams starting with a reflex foam base that moulds into a premium memory foam comfort layer that would traditionally sit at the top of the comfort layer. Not so with the Citrine Air however, this particular model gives you a few more layers above moving onto a Next-gen foam layer that provides even deeper sinking comfort. Finally you have the new Aroura foam layer that is the new feature on much of the Hyde & Sleep lineup, giving a breathable air gap between you and the rest of the mattress. This is particularly important and one of the standout features of the mattress, helping to keep you cool while you sleep and beating many competitors in this area.

Having had our previous bed for more than 20 years, getting a new Hyde and Sleep memory foam mattress was something of a departure for us. However, only after a few days, weve truly fallen in love with it. Its everything we wanted, from comfort of sleeping to not shaking your partner every time you move in bed or attend to the inevitable toilet stop in the middle of the night. I suffer with severe back problems and havent slept a well for years. This is the 3rd mattress I have tried this year and Im pleased to say at last I can sleep. I was a bit dubious about memory foam but this mattress is great. We have the half and half, my side is firm. It supports well and I've had very restful sleep every night since getting it. I was starting to get an uncomfortable back with my previous mattress and that has all gone with this one. Would definitely recommend it, out of all the ones we tried in the shop this one felt right from the start.

The mattress was for my mum who is elderly and suffering with arthritis. The bed has nade a difference to her comfort even though she was unable to visit the showroom to use the digital tester for which mattress would suit. We had the option to return if it wasnt suitable but thankfully thst was not required. We always buy our beds and mattresses from Dreams, good service.

Initial thoughts are that the mattress seems very comfortable. I use it in conjunction with an adjustable base which seems to work well. I have only used it for a couple of weeks so cannot yet give any longterm opinion. suffice it say the early impression is good. I am sleeping better than previously and pain generated by a bad back is eased allowing for better nights.

The best nights sleep I've had in years. Highly recommend this mattress, it's well made, very comfortable and as it has different firmness each side, it's perfect for a couple who like a medium/firm mattress. So far the mattress is great, but then again it was in the shop when I tested it. As I have now been sent two emails with a chance to win a TV in return for a review I thought I would fill this in. Based on some internet reviews though, these mattresses don't do well for fat people like me, so I will leave a proper review in 6 months time

Upon sleeping this it is slightly firmer than other medium mattresses, but nether the less it is extremely comfortable. Another great feature is the ability to unzip the fabric, this is machine washable and allows the mattress to be easily cleaned.

Comfortable but gets you so hot. Such a shame! The smell is very over powering too. Quality is good but the memory foam makes you extremely hot! I dont recommend it for that reason. I do however recommend Dreams! They have been fantastic

Nice mattress but it is very firm. Lying on it in the shop for 5 minutes is very different to sleeping on it all night. There are also no handles on the mattress to help with turning. Its not bad but could be better for the price.

What side is medium and what side is firm? I can't tell when touching both sides. We received yesterday.

Answer: As you stand at the foot end, which is where the Hyde & Sleep brand tag is - the medium is on the left side and the firm on the right hand side. If you lift up the brand tag, there should be a label which sates which side is medium and firm. If you require the medium/firm to be on the other side, you need to turn the mattress 180 degrees.Many thanks
