I visited Dreams in store to get a feel for the beds and do the sleep test. As a bit of a background Ive only had an Eve hybrid mattress for about a year but found I wasnt sleeping right and my sciatica was playing up frequently. The in store experience was very good, James the store manager of the Cardiff branch was very helpful and knowledgeable and didnt push for sales. The beds recommended from the test were just what I needed and I ended up going for one of the more expensive Tempur mattresses - at no point was the sale forced and it was only because of how comfortable the bed was that swayed my decision. Ive had the bed about 2 months so I think that qualifies as enough experience to judge it. Im sleeping better and my back pain has improved massively. If youre on the fence about investing in a new mattress they are worth it. This had been my third or fourth mattress in a decade and I wont need to change it now for a long long time. I just wanted to say thanks again to James for his help and whole experience from in store to delivery to setting up was easy. Im glad I took the time to visit and not just order one online which I was tempted to do. Thanks again !

I was very skeptical about this as it is extremely expensive and i didn't want to pay that amount for a matress but i also suffer from joint pain so desperately wanted a new matress - i tested a variety of mattresses in store for about 10 minutes each but this was the only one were i couldn't feel my hips tingle laying on my side which kept me tossing and turning all night. I have had it now for 3 weeks and have to say from day 1 I have had full night's sleep for the first time in a year. I got the lux 30 which is the deepest and makes huge difference. I also got finance on it so didn't cost the earth as very expensive, but in my opinion worth it. Staff in store were great.

The quality of this product does not come into question, but the chemical smell has been overpowering, they advise to ventilate the mattress pulling all the sheets back daily, but we are 2wks in and its still very strong. I also find this mattress much, much firmer than the one you try in the store. Personally, it feels to me like Im laying on the floor and incredibly uncomfortable. Its difficult as at this stage, they say you have to wear it in, but to me that means many sleepless nights without reassurance or guarantee that it will indeed get better. You almost need a topper to soften it, whilst you wear it in!? I must say for the cost, I am very disappointed so far.

Probably great but too firm for me. Think I should have ordered a medium in the first place then we could have exchanged up or down if needed, so other than lying in the shop overnight I really don't know if a medium or soft would be better. My wife finds the medium firm is OK for her. so when we return it, we will change to two extra long singles to replace the superking we have. I have a bad back and arthritic spine so I need gentle comfort across all parts. We have tried various conventional mattresses with little success, so hoping the Tempur will end up being good. The pillow is great by the way. The build quality of the mattress is good.

This mattress has exceeded my expectations. I prefer a firmer support, and the Medium/Firm Tension is ideal for me. The support does reduce my movement when dropping off to sleep and has helped contribute to a deeper sleep than I was getting previously. When unboxing, there was a faint manufacturing odour that faded quickly and was much less noticeable compared to our last product. Considering how amazing the overall sleep experience has been so far, this Tempur product offers better cooling elements and justifies the difference.

After only one night, only one night, we found it absolutley fantastic. We thought it would take a while to adjust to the new firmness, but not. The last two weeks have given a fantastic sleep experience and we could never go back to the lumpy mattrass we had. Oh woe is me! I bought a TEMPUR mattress and it is perfect. Had the best nights sleep ever using this product, Comfy as anything. Before I could never sleep on my back for more than 5 minutes before my back started hurting badly. First memory foam mattress. We really like it. We look forward to going to bed now. I feel fully supported by it which prevents aches and strains and its so much more comfortable than a sprung mattress. We have the matching pillow and duvet set which is also great. Completely removed my back aches. Had it a good few weeks and its the same now is it was on day 1. Being memory foam, it encapsulates heat well, which is decent for the winter, but we'll have to see how the summer goes. I doubt it'll be an issue.
