Good Points: This is a REALLY firm mattress, like sleeping on a floor. That is just what I wanted. I have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which means my skeleton is not held in place properly due to my connective tissue being 'floppy'. This is the best mattress I have ever owned (far better than 'luxury' brands costing upwards of £1,000) and supports my skeleton perfectly. At last, I can have a comfortable night's sleep and not wake up with dislocated joints (yes, that does happen) and severe pain all over my body. So, for me, this mattress is heaven itself. However, you have to realise that this is like sleeping on a breeze block for most of your body. If your current mattress is saggy, it is probably because it's old or worn or hasn't been turned properly. Do not buy a 'very firm' mattress to replace it unless you want a really HARD bed! Pretty much any new mattress will be firmer than an old one. This mattress is designed for people who are obese or disabled or have an extremely bad back that is permanent. I would imagine that for other people it would be way too firm. So beware of that before you buy. But if you know you want a very firm mattress, then believe me, you can't do better than this for the price. So long as you rotate it every week initially as recommended (after two months you can rotate it once a month), it does not sag. I have had mine about six weeks now and there is no sag whatsoever. Improvement Points: Why oh why are there no turning handles? Especially when this mattress is for people with bad backs etc? Come on manufacturers, this is so silly - just put handles on the mattress! If you are slim, please read the 'good points' - this mattress will probably leave you covered in bruises as it is so firm, so beware!

I have been sleeping on the Silentnight 1400 Ultra spring mattress in Super King size for a few weeks now and I think I have got a pretty good sense of it. It's a firm mattress definitely not soft or squishy but that's exactly what I was after. It feels properly supportive especially for my back. Since switching to it I have noticed I sleep better with less tossing and turning and no more waking up with back aches. Hubby is especially happy.One thing to note is the height. This mattress is thick and if you've got it on an ottoman bed like I do it sits pretty high. It's not a dealbreaker but depending on your room setup or how tall you are it might feel a bit too raised. In smaller rooms or with lower ceilings it can feel a bit oversized.Moving it into place was a bit of a mission. It is really heavyaround 50kg and the size makes it awkward to handle up the stairs into the bedroom. Took two men to get it upstairs and onto the bed frame. If you've got tight stairs or narrow hallways make sure to plan ahead. It's not something you want to do solo.The mattress is single-sided so you can't flip it but only rotate it. That's fine for me but if you're used to flipping your mattress every so often just keep in mind that this one isn't designed for that.The mattress came with a couple of pillows too which was a nice touch. Summing up it is a firm comfortable mattress with gel for orthopedicsupport and it feels like it is built to last. My back feels better and I'm sleeping more soundly. If you want something supportive and don't mind the height or the heavy lifting during setup i would say the Silentnight 1400 Ultra is a solid pick. Just make sure your room and bed frame can handle the size and maybe have someone around to help you get it into place.

Good Points: Extremely light, one adult can pick it up for king size. Delivery is on time. Nothing else. Improvement Points: Extremely regrets to purchase it by below reason 1. It is not 'extra firm' as it states from our experience, and my family member got back pain experience next day morning when sleep on it. 2. Extremely light, one adult can easily pick it up alone for king size, not sure the material is strong enough or not inside the mattress. Since my previous mattress of other brand is extremely heavy and even two adult need hard to pick it up 3. If partners sleep and move the body on the mattress, I will feel the mattress is moving so if sleep on it better not move often otherwise partner hard get to sleep. 4. Edge is not strong than center, so even sit on it the edge, it will collapse and not balanced on whole. If sleep on it, it's better don't sleep near the edge, and you will feel it is a little bit collapsed and feel uncomfortable. 5. This mattress not supporting people steps on it from CS reply and it is claims as misuse and no warranty will be provided. Indeed, the mattress is not damage just very soft when step or push it by hands. It will collapsed easily. So, if anyone have the same case with us that have cabinet on top of our bed, than you should consider seriously since you need to step on the mattress for put in or remove things from the cabinet. Its the first time I heard mattress not support people step on it and it will void the warranty. From our previous experience, it is normal usage since mattress should be a strong product. Indeed, the mattress not got any worsen condition when we step on it to test the mattress firm level, it just not feel extra firm and comfortable in our mind. 6. When i ordered the mattress, I did not take any picture, and CS replied that when we placed the order on Oct 2022, it don't provide 60 days trial period. I was very surprised since CS reply trial sleep is new promotion after we placed the order. I did not take any evidence so I can only believe and accept it. 7. CS are not able to provide any help on my purchase. Only said that we misused since it don't support people step on it and it is misused even it is not damaged. After few email conversation, CS replied that we don't have 60 days trial sleeping on the mattress when we placed the order. We are very disappointing on it since we have mentioned our purchase date and provide order no from the beginning of email conversation. 8. Even it is a cheap model , but not actually cheap in the market that can found in other shops with other brands. Next time I will considered more carefully when placing order. 9. For anyone reference, I am around 65 KG and my husband is around 85KG. So we are not heavy weight person in general. 10. Most people give high marks of the mattress quality, only little give low marks. We should believe in low marks person rather than high mark person review and we are regretting on it.

Ordered a different mattress which was clearly not a new mattress, it had felt missing and marks on it, so I made a complaint and was told they would exchange it but when they came to exchange it, they wouldn't because of the marks on the mattress which they were already aware of as I'd sent pictures, then when I contacted the consumers rights website, they said they had to exchange it and they were liable for the delivery charges but they wouldn't pay the delivery and we had to pay another £49 to exchange this damaged item, if you purchase from an online store, the consumer's website states that by law the company are liable for the delivery fees!!! t They wouldn't budge on that but exchanged the mattress, only this time they brought the wrong one being an extra firm mattress when we had ordered and paid for a firm mattress. We contacted Dream's again to explain and was basically told we were stuck with it. I'm a disabled lady and this mattress is absolutely crippling for both me and my partner whom isn't disabled. I would never use Dreams again. The delivery lad's confirmed that half of the mattresses that people are getting have already been previously returned from other customers which would explain why they are all so bad in the first place. A disgrace of a company. I don't expect to purchase a new item that has already been used and sent back god only knows how many times previously? So we're £400 out of pocket and have had to throw this mattress away because I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy because it's so bad! Go and look at the real review websites and not the one's like trust pilot who remove bad reviews or don't let you post them!

It's been 2 years now, so here is a review after 2 years of sleeping on it. I am a larger lady who has many disabilities that cause a lot of bodily pain, I have Neuropathy, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, ME, spondylitis of the neck and spine and a crumbling spine, sciatica etc. I tell you this because it's very important to find that perfect mattress when you have physical disabilities. I can not tell you the difference this mattress has made to my life. As soon as I lay down on it, it was like heaven, it was like I was weightless and 2 years on it is still the same, every time I get on it, it feels as good as the first time. My pain levels at night decreased by a lot, i used to wake constantly with hip pain, since sleeping on this Emma Mattress I have not woke with hip pain once! my sleep is deeper and longer, which has made a massive difference in my everyday life. The mattress has zero lumps, bumps, springs, coils, it's just like a smooth cloud. The mattress is that fantastic and feels so good under your body that when I put my electric blanket on top of it, and I have a very expensive thick electric blanket, I hated the feel of it and had to take my electric blanket off. You will be just fine with your electric blanket on top of the mattress, but having fibromyalgia, they used to call fibromyalgia 'The princess and the pea disease' because you can feel every stitch, lump, bump ect and every stitch, lump and bump causes so much pain, but the Emma mattress feels like a smooth cloud, you actually feel weightless. It was the best decision I ever made to get this mattress, it was more expensive than any other mattress I have purchased previously, but it is worth so much more than that just to have a pain free, long, cosy nights sleep. It's also not to hot for menopause, I don't know why that myth was put out there but it's just fine temperature wise. I also bought my son one, he has cerebral palsy and he agrees with me about how amazing they are, especially if you suffer from any aches and pains. Just buy one, do it, you will be amazed how great they are.

I think the mattress is great but my wife thinks it is a little hard. I have not had any back ache since we bought the matress. Our previous mattress was killing my back and had become extremly unsupportive. The delivery staff were great as they brought the new mattress in and removed the old one. I would have never been able to move the old mattress so having the gentlemen take our wornout one away was really helpful. We left the Emma mattress to vent and take shape over the stipulated time. Not sure how we could ever have returned it though as the delicery staff removed the box it came in and I would never have been able to compress it into such a small roll again. The extensive strong plastic wrap retained the compression forces which I imagine were processed at the factory so I can not think how it could be completed at home. I love the mattress and have slept well since it was delivered and the back ache has not returned.

Having slept on an Emma memory foam mattress a few times and loved it when staying with family I was expecting great things from what I assumed would be an upgraded and better product. As well as the experience on the memory foam mattress I’d spent weeks reading reviews and was confident this mattress would deliver on the three things we most wanted - comfort, minimal motion transfer, and a cool sleep. Sad to say my wife and I are disappointed on two of those things. Comfort wise I’ve no grumbles, but I’m a fidget and mover in bed and my wife reckons it’s like sleeping on a boat, and to be honest, I don’t find it any better than the 30 yr old mattress we both got rid of. In addition we both find it quite a bit warmer than the old mattress as well. With the pocket springs covered by layers of various foams it is nothing like the memory foam mattress we’d tried at our daughters. I’m disappointed that I can easily feel the springs through the sides and bottom (just a couple of layers of fabric) - in fact it actually feels quite cheaply made to me. I guess I should have expected this from a roll up mattress, but no one mentioned this in any of the dozens of reviews I read! Maybe I’m just fussy, but I wouldn’t get another one.

I’m a bit disappointed with this product. We previously owned an Emma Original mattress purchased in 2020, which was the best mattress we’ve ever had. Based on that experience, I expected this one to be the same or at least similar. However, despite being called “Original,” it is nothing like the one we had before. The old mattress was entirely memory foam, whereas this one has pocket springs with only a thin layer of foam on top, which makes it feel quite firm. Had I realised this, I would never have purchased it. In addition, because the underside consists of hard springs, the mattress slides on the base and needs to be pushed back into place regularly. MattressOnline have offered to exchange the mattress for a different one but as we would be unable to test the mattress, we would simply be swapping it for another unknown model that may not be any better, so we have decided to keep it. However, this will definitely be the last time we purchase an Emma mattress
