I've struggled with my sleep for years. I've had memory foam mattresses, I've tried multiple different toppers but always awoke in the night either with back pain or to feel myself sliding off the edge. Out last mattress was an improvement but after having out first child and being condemned to sleeping on the lip of the bed I decided enough was enough. We were getting a Super King bed and getting an actual good mattress! We went to Bensons and tried out a myriad of options. Naturally I was drawn to the most expensive option but I couldn't justify spending close to 5000 on a new bed. We tried the Sealy Newton Posturepedic Mattress and after laying on it for about 10 minutes I knew I'd found the one. It was extra firm and supported me in every position. It was love! We bought it from an Outlet store in Doncaster and got an unbelievable deal on it and even managed to get it delivered the next day. Getting it upstairs was a struggle and as it was being bent I was a bit apprehensive that it wouldn't bounce back. My nerves were settled as soon as it was on the bed frame. No issues what so ever. I was expecting a few nights to get adjusted to it but that evening something magical happened. I slept like a baby! No issues; no waking up with an aching back, no feeling like falling due to the reinforced edges, no waking up feeling fatigued still. We've had the bed for a fortnight now and I don't think I've slept so well in a long time. My Samsung watch is also saying my sleep is on the "excellent" rating. I'm massively impressed in this mattress, I'm enjoying having some actual space in bed due to upgrading to Super King size. If you're in the market for an extra firm mattress that holds you and supports you I highly recommend this one. We also adopted the having separate duvet covers that the Scandinavians do and this has also helped.

The mattress is exactly what I asked for in terms of back support, comfort, easy to manoevre and to change mattres protectors and fitted sheets on. I have a long standing back injury which flares if I do not have the support. This mattress has resolved my back pain. My sleeping is great. In the summer you do not over heat and in the winter you remain warm( as described when shown to me originally). The weight of the mattress is surprisingly light to allow rotation of the mattress on a monthly basis( unlike my prevoius posturepedic mattress which was very very heavy, which was difficult to move). I would strongly recomend this mattress. I opted for firm to give my back maximum supprt and its brilliant ! I would highly recomend Bensons Beds as u can have expertise advice on tailor made beds/ mattress to meet your needs. The cost of my king size mattress was cheaper than other competitors .

Really pleased with this mattress. My wife & I both have had problems with our lower backs. This mattress has given the support we need & we have slept much better since it arrived. All down to a sales team that listened to our needs. Unlike Furniture Village who sold us a very expensive bed & mattress two years ago which we have now had to replace. My daughter has just bought a new bed for my grandson & will also be buying another bed with you soon. She was also impressed with the sales teams care & concern to get it right ; yet un- pushy attitude.

The main thing that drew me to this mattress was how it felt to sit on in the store - I tried lying on it too, but didn't really spend long enough to judge properly. I also liked that it had a very flat pattern on the top. It is a firm mattress - I knew I wanted at least medium-firm, but still had a few concerns in case it was too solid. However, having had it for a couple of weeks now, I think it is great and I'm finding it really comfortable. I sleep on my back and sides and no issues. Would definitely recommend if you want something firm.

The Posturepedic mattress turned out to be just what we needed after many years' use of what had been a very comfortable - but now somewhat saggy - pocket-sprung mattress. The new mattress is firm and supportive right up to its edge (no danger of accidentally rolling off), yet in the first two weeks of use has been very comfortable, whether sleeping on my back or side. I wanted a firm mattress and when I sit on the edge of the bed I didn't want to sink down like many mattresses. I have found this mattress exactly what I wanted. Its comfortable and I sleep so much better now. And when I get out of bed or sit on it, it is well supported. It's got to be the best mattress I have ever bought. I would highly recommend this mattress, if you need a firm and supported one.

We are very happy that we chose this mattress. It is what we were looking for and it is very supportive and meets up to it's description of being posturepedic. We feel we have what we have paid for with it being a pricier mattress. It does require turning every 2 weeks, an advisory measure for the first year then once a month thereafter, to help with settlement from body pressures.

It's a lovely bed . The edges of the mattress are quite rigid which is a good thing if you are sitting on the edge to dress etc. my partner finds the mattress lovely but it's a teeny bit too firm for my hips but hoping it will give a little in time. Bensons for Beds kept in contact the whole time and the service was 10 out of 10 - I would certainly recommend them.

This mattress delivers on all levels. A comfortable, restful night's sleep. I was impressed by how Bensons managed my purchase and delivery. Special mention for Christine in the showroom who was extremely professional. It may be worthwhile for Sealy to consider having handles top and bottom to aid manoeuvrability. Overall very happy with my purchase.

It's a lovely firm mattress and I'm sleeping deeper, longer and more comfortably. My husband is also sleeping well. It was easy for the 2 of us to turn around twice monthly as advised. The only thing to point out is that it's deeper than our old mattress, so our fitted sheets are only just fitting over the corners and new ones will be bought shortly.

So far so good. We've had our new mattress for four weeks now and so far we're finding it very comfortable. We know it will probably be a while before it is fully settled in and used to us and therefore us used to it but we're not disappointed with our purchase at all so far. Very comfortable and supportive. My husband's back pain has eased after sleeping on this mattress. It is lighterweight than our previous mattresses and has a tendency to slide on the base. Also, we've noticed when each other turns over in the night, the movement is notably felt on the other side as if experiencing a tremor!

My main reason for purchasing it was for the firm edges. My wife needs them to help her stand from sitting on the bedside. It is great for her needs. The mattress is comfortable to sleep on even for side sleeping. Only time will tell how long it will remain so excellent. At the moment I would thoroughly recommend it.

Our order was for a King not Super King. It's OK, very hard, a lot harder than the demo bed, even after 3 weeks. Plus when you turn over the whole mattress moves so disturbs your partner. (Our previous one didn't do this) Wouldn't buy it again and think it is very overpriced.

This is a very firm mattress which is fine for me but it is nowhere near as good as my last posturepedic mattress from Sealy. It came with a very odd smell too but this did disappear after a couple of weeks Would still recommend if you like a very firm mattress though

Fabulous mattress - so comfortable , firm and supportive ( especially as I have a disc problem ) should have changed years ago . As part of a divan pairing it is quite high - so may not be entirely suitable for someone of a shorter stature .

A very comfortable mattress. Seems to keep me not too hot and not too cold. Edges seem to hold up well and I'm just as comfortable near the edge as the middle. Best of all though is the fact that it seems to have stopped me snoring!!!

Love the height & firmness, but watching the indents of body positions, don't want that, that's why I bought this one. My back feels much better after 3 months of pain. Ice every 4 hours and a top quality mattress, perfect!

Always buy a Sealy Mattress a bit more expensive but they last for ages. Posturpedic as have spinal issues. Had over a month now and as yet hasn't dissapointed.
