Why our sleep experts loved it

I got my hands on the Staples Revitalise Eco Latex Pocket 3800 Mattress in-store and it was one I was looking forward to, mainly because a 3800 pocket spring count in a medium tension build usually feels properly 'grown up' compared to the more basic options. The Staples Revitalise Eco Latex Pocket 3800 Mattress is a medium firmness mattress featuring high quality, high capacity 3800 pocket springs which will aid in providing the user with the ultimate in individual comfort,

For comfort, Staples have added an ecoAir foam layer for increased breathability as well as deep and luxurious comfort. Pressing my palm into the top, you can feel that ecoAir layer give first, then the pocket springs start pushing back underneath rather than the whole surface dipping at once. That said, if you are expecting a big, slow memory foam hug, you will not get it here, it is more of a buoyant, springy comfort.

The mattress also makes use of the Posture Perimeter Plus System for a full sleep surface, which will allow you to fully stretch out your arms and legs. Sitting on the edge, it held up better than a lot of pillowtop mattresses I have tried, you do not get that instant slide-off feeling, although it still compresses a bit once you perch there for a minute. The pillowtop is a further comfort layer which will give aid in providing you with even more comfort. Lying on my back, my hips felt nicely supported and I could feel the pocket springs responding in smaller sections, which is what you want from a higher spring count. On my side though, I can see lighter side sleepers finding it a touch firm around the shoulder, the latex support comes through quite quickly. This easy-care non-turn mattress is simply rotated when needed, preventing the need to awkwardly try and flip such a large and deep mattress, but it does mean you are relying on the top comfort layers long term, you cannot flip it to even out wear.

The eco-friendly mattress is perfect for people with allergies, and it is made with Tencel™ fabric, which is 30 times more breathable than memory foam. Running my hand across the cover it felt smooth and cool to the touch, and it did not have that plasticky feel some 'cool touch' fabrics can have. Still, if you sleep very hot, do not assume this will be ice-cold, the pillowtop and foam layers can still hold a bit of warmth compared to a simpler sprung mattress.

The Eco-foam and latex provide firm support and ultimate comfort and features an impressive 10 year guarantee. For me personally, it sits in the good bracket if you want a medium that leans supportive, but if you are a strict side sleeper or you like a really plush top, I would be looking at something softer or with a thicker comfort layer for the money.

Oh what a dream, this mattress supported by our Ottoman frame is superb. Comfortable, cool and extremely supportive, this mattress certainly ticks all the boxes. The frame and mattress sit quite high which in our opinion is a bonus as it adds to the look of luxury, though we do have giggles when my wife has to do a little jump to get on it. By far not the cheapest option with everything coming to 3000, but well worth it. Our sleep patterns have changed, improved and the days of waking up constantly are a thing of the past. With the added help from the Bensons staff, this was a fantastic purchase and will hopefully last a long time.

I purchased the mattress a couple of months ago. It took a couple of weeks to adjust to, as I sleep alone and thought it was a bit firm to begin with, and after seeing some negative reviews was worried I'd bought the right mattress, however I have to say it's the best mattress I've ever had !! I've had Sealy & Millbrook previously but this is far superior! I placed it on a sprung base on my French bed, and it's so comfortable,! I have hip pain as a side sleeper but absolutely no problem sinse sleeing on this mattress . I can highly recommend it. It was expensive but worth every penny in my opinion.

Our last mattress from Bensons lasted 10 years so decided it was time for a new one but a bit apprehensive as it was the most comfortable mattress we have ever had. However we needn't have worried as this is even better, if that's possible. From the first night we have slept amazingly well and woken refreshed with no aches and pains. Would also like to praise all the staff, they are polite, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The delivery men were also wonderful. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend Bensons

Our experience with Benson beds our first approached to your shop in Mansfield was very pleasant Gail shop assistant who was a delight in helping us to try your various mattresses. After many testing we decided on one.. Went home to think it thru then went next day and put it on order. Delivery was good came and introduced themselves put there shoe protectors on and brought mattress into bedroom and set up on base.. A very cheerful good bye from delivery drivers.. So so so so happy with our new super king bed from Bensons. It's incredibly comfortable and my husband and I have slept really well in it from day 1, which I wasn't expecting as it can take a while to adjust to a new bed. The quality of the base, mattress and headboard are excellent and I would recommend this bed to anyone. Bensons staff were really helpful in the store and the delivery guys were great too. We have had the mattress for 3weeks and it's been great from the get go. It really is like being in a luxury hotel bed. We have even started going to bed earlier and getting up is much harder. So why haven't I given 5stars? Bensons added bed guard to our bill (200 ish) without telling us and I had a 2hr ball ache getting our money back. The apology was weak and I've not forgiven the company for dishonest upselling practices.

The mattress is really comfortable. It's a soft mattress which was what we were looking for. A great feature is that one person getting off the bed doesn't disturb the other! The main downside is the height. We had to take the legs off our bed to make the overall height manageable, and we aren't short people. It's also the heaviest mattress we've ever had, making it hard to even do the regular rotating without help.

Haven't had mattress long but it is comfortable and feel we made the right choice. Difficult to influence others on choice as we all have our individual preferences. However, I have been struggling with back problems and feel it is giving me more support in this area. I think you should review arrangements every 5 years with a new Mattress. Easy credit terms make this a must.

We've been searching for a decent bed for a long time. Thank god for Bensons for beds! We bought the best king size there and have not been disappointed with anything. We got the deep mattress. My wife is vertically challenged, (5') and the first night she polevaulted into bed. We now have a small folding stool at the side. Highly recommend this company and this bed!

Love it - I love the fact it's not too soft and not too hard I had a highly unsuitable mattress before and the difference is unbelievable! I love that it makes you nice and high up as the mattress has such depth so if futons are your worst nightmare go for this!!! Think my cats happy ( see picture) 10/10 for comfort and it's very easy to turn around too!!

What can I say about this mattress? I personally think this was the best money I have ever spent. Not only is this mattress the thickest one I have ever seen but it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. My sleep has drastically improved and feeling more refreshed every morning. Great bed, the Matress is supporting yet comfortable my partner suffers with a bad Hip and waiting an op but this came at the right time as he was off from work in pain and this bed was just what he needed. The ottoman is amazing, so much storage eating your greens because with the Matress on top it's heavy to lift.

So far, so good. Been on it for 2 weeks and both myself and my wife are finding it very comfortable. Just the right amount of support but also soft (we struggle with beds that are too hard). We've tried them all (Sprung, Gel tops, toppers, memory foam) but a latex based top is the winner in our opinion.

We decided to go from a double bed to a king size. We tried loads of mattresses in the store, found the one we thought was right for us and were more than pleased with the results. Love this mattress. I ordered the staples storage divan with a Revitalise Eco Latex Pocket 3800 Mattress and faux leather headboard. We have had it just over a year now and it's been the best night's sleep for us both. The staff at the Birstall were all amazing they were so helpful thank you all.

I was so looking forward to getting my new bed as It felt sooo comfy in the shop but it just hasn't lived up to expectations. It feels like a completely different mattress and I wake up every morning with a bad back wouldn't recommend this one which is a shame as it wasn't a cheap option!

The new bed is amazing! It's comfortable & supportive- and I have a problem getting out of it in the mornings. The mattress is a lot deeper than the previous one, so I've had to buy new extra deep fitted sheets - but that's no problem because they were due for replacement anyway.

The mattress is very comfortable but so very difficult to turn around as specified by Benson's. There should be a handle on every side of the mattress, in fact 2 handle's on each of the long sides would be even better to assist moving.

Too hot, don't quite believe the temperature controlling part. In the middle of winter I still wake up sweating. Our last mattress was from John Lewis and I had no issues sleeping on that one and it was a fraction of the cost.
