Side sleepers rejoice: there's finally a pillow designed just for you. I got my hands on the iGel Side Sleeper Deep Pillow and the first thing I noticed was the shape, it really does guide your head into the middle rather than letting it roll about. It's a firm yet supportive pillow that moulds to the shape of your head and neck, helping you keep a healthy spine alignment. On my side, it did a good job of filling that gap between shoulder and neck, and I didn't get that 'chin tucked' feeling I sometimes get with softer pillows. That said, it is properly deep, so if you're petite, have narrow shoulders, or you like a low pillow, this is likely going to feel too tall and a bit unforgiving. You'll wake up feeling refreshed instead of stiff and sore, and the guarantee ensures that you'll be able to enjoy this pillow and sleep with confidence.

With its unique shape, it moulds to the head and neck and has the ability to keep its shape without going flat, so you can find your perfect position. When I pressed down with my hand it sprang back quickly and didn't feel like it was going to pancake after a few weeks, which is a big win if you're used to cheaper pillows going lumpy. The flip side is that the firmness can feel a touch 'pushy' if you like to really sink in, and if you swap between side and back through the night you might find it a bit high on your back. Purchased my iGel side sleeper pillow in August 2025, to replace my foam contour pillow which I'd purchased from my chiropractor a couple of years prior. When I tried the iGel pillow in store, I thought it was so comfortable. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to due to the firmness, & the pillow was quite good to start with, but I didn't find it as comfortable as my previous foam pillow. Within 1 month, the pillow had already dipped a lot & gone out of shape. I find myself fidgeting so much during the night & turning the pillow over multiple times, because it dips so much where my head lies & doesn't feel supportive of my neck. I've had neck/shoulder issues since 2016 after whiplash, causing a bulge between my C6 & C7 vertebrae which when inflamed, sometimes presses on my nerve. Having the right pillow is essential for me, & I've been in agony the last few months. Unfortunately, despite the high price, this pillow hasn't helped my neck pain. I liked the firmness of it initially (although it took a couple of weeks to get used to) but it started to flatten very quickly, the shape just doesn't hold, which negatively impacts my posture & neck support. It's definitely better than any 'normal' pillows though, & I do like that this pillow stays a nice temperature (doesn't get too hot while I'm using it). I'll be going back to an orthopaedic contour pillow that is designed to support the natural curve in my neck, as this one sadly doesn't do that.

I bought two iGel pillows ( one side sleeper and another back sleeper pillow ) in 2019 and wanted to change my pillows ( which has been overdue for very long , I change every 3-4 years ). So, I was trying to buy these again because I am so satisfied with them . When I went online , only benson for beds have these . But then I saw some bad reviews . Here is the thing , choice of pillows is very specific, I am sure those who have bad reviews definitely didn't know what they want . These igel pillows for those who prefer firm to extra firm and thick pillows . Those who do not like firm or hard pillows will hate these . Choosing pillows is very important , there is no best pillow in the world which will satisfy everyone . But these iGel pillows are for those who prefer , firm/ hard and thick pillows , not for those who want soft and thin & flat pillows .

Ok so for the first 2-3 nights of using the side sleeper I'll be honest I struggled. I felt my neck was up right and I thought I was going to wake up with neck pain (I didn't). I felt like throwing them on the floor and using my old pillow. However, I persevered with it as my husband said it takes a few nights (I was on holiday when they were delivered so he had 4 nights with them before I came home) I can now say that I sleep well with them, it's like it moulds to my neckline I can sleep on my back comfortably too. Glad I gave them a bit of time had I not listened to my husband I would have probably got rid and give a bad review. Given 4 stars as yes it's now comfortable and I love it but really struggled for the first few nights in the beginning. They are firm, mould lovely to your shape but still keep firm which is great for me.

I am not usually one to leave reviews, especially negative ones. But I feel that I have to share my opinion on these. We got 1 side sleeper (for me) and 1 front sleeper (for my husband) free with our mattress, and honestly, if I'd have paid a single penny for them, I'd have been furious. They felt great, for about 2 weeks. We've now had them for a couple of months and they are awful. The worst pillows we've ever had the misfortune of trying to sleep on - and we've finally given up today and took them off. They are misshapen and ridiculously uncomfortable. I wouldn't waste your hard earned money on these- total rip off!

I loved my side sleeper pillow which was bought a few years ago, after recently replacing them for new ones recently I am extremely disappointed, the first week was great but since then these pillows have gone extremely flat and I have keep flipping them during the night to get comfy, no where near as good as they used to be considering the last ones lasted about 4 years before they were in the condition that new ones are in a week, they must be using cheaper material, my advice is if you're replacing old igel pillows don't do it, however if you haven't had an igel pillow before you may possibly like these

I bought an iGel pillow, but after just a few days it became flat and did not recover its shape. An 80 pillow only gave me three nights of good sleep; by the fourth day, I started to have neck pain. I took the pillow back to the store just to ask if this was normal. The staff insisted there was no problem before even checking the pillow. Although my pillow was clearly softer than the same model on display, they still claimed it was normal without properly examining it and told me to contact customer service myself. Very disappointing product quality and poor after-sales service.

Have to agree with all the other reviews this pillow isn't the same as the one tried in store, I have struggled finding the right pillow and after going into store and finding this one thought I'd found the holy grail. At no time when speaking with the assistant in store were we told that the pillow would take time to break in or that the pillow we bought would be much firmer than the store one had I tried the actual pillow I would have never spent 80 !! Shame Bensons don't accept returns as this would be going straight back

The one that I bought doesn't feel like the one I tried in store at all. It is very high and hard, and definitely not temperature regulating. I felt so hot when using it that I couldn't sleep at all. When I called the store the next day after I bought it, I was then advised it will take a couple of months to get it into the condition of those in store. That means I will at least have a few months sleepless nights. And for hygiene reasons, they are not returnable. That makes me even more disappointed.

Only bought this last Wednesday , was fine for the first few days then started to give me awful neck pain . Seemed to have gone soft and no support. Tried to take it back , under not fit for purpose, but was told unless in was faulty that they wouldn't give me a refund . You would have thought that with us buying a expensive mattress at the same time , that as a gesture of goodwill, they would have given me a refund. Should have read the reviews first , both for the pillow and the store !!

Like a lot of others, we felt that this pillow was too thick initially. But as someone who had such bad neck pain that I had stopped using pillows I was desperately looking for a pillow because I was getting heartburn at night. This pillow has been such a surprise. It's big and high and looks like it will cause neck pain; but it moulds to your head on a few days. My neck pain has disappeared. Husband and I both have one, and both our pillows look different after a week.

"I'm really disappointed with this purchase. The pillow I was given in store to try felt supportive and comfortable, but the one that arrived after buying was completely different. It doesn't feel anything like the sample and is far less comfortable. I specifically chose it based on how it felt in the showroom, so it feels misleading to be sold something that isn't the same product. Definitely not worth the money and I wouldn't recommend it."

Bought this along with a Dunlopillo side sleeper pillow for me and my partner. This one is slightly better than the Dunlopillo but both are causing restless nights and back pain. This one is marginally better than the Dunlopillo thanks to the temperature regulation properties but even they are minimal once you put a pillow case on. Really with I'd saved my money and just bought standard pillows. They just aren't worth the money.

This is one of the worst pillows I have had! The first few nights were great, really comfortablebut then it soon lost its shape. It sinks down flat where your head is, and I'm waking several times in the night having to flip it over! For 79.99 it's a complete waste of money. It claims to stay cool as well, but that's not the case either.im thinking someone must have swapped it over in the shop!

I had high hopes for this pillow but it certainly is not worth the money. I have had it for a few months now and have not had a good night sleep with it. I've now gone back to my previous pillow. I'm a side sleeper and I've had neck pain. I've had to constantly flip the pillow over during the night to try to get into a comfortable position. Waste of money. Very disappointing!

Wouldn't recommend this pillow not worth the price at all after only two months it lost shape became flat in the middle and feels like the foam is breaking up into pieces. Need another pillow underneath to hold head in the correct position so totally goes against the theory of only one pillow needed for good support. I've had better support from cheaper pillows

I am really disappointed if this pillow. After sleeping for few nights my head and neck is in so much pain that it's unbelievable. Please don't purchase and waste your money even though if they give it as free with mattress. I wish I have red the reviews before buying. For the price and the description it doesn't justify. I bought this pillow back in March and at first it was amazing but slowly it has flatten and the enternal foam/gel has started to break down to point it easily bends in half. Very disappointing considering the price! Definitely not fit for purpose. Sadly we didnt read the reviews before buying as I can see others have had similar issues.

I can honestly say this is the best pillow I have ever used. I was sceptical at first as it felt quite hard, but it is so comfortable. I have always struggled to find a comfortable pillow, and my husband says we could open a pillow shop with all pillows we have in our loft. We are just waiting for our Igel mattress now - can't wait

These pillows arrived yesterday with our new bed, as soon as I took them out of the packaging I said to my husband these are not the pillows we tried out in the shop, they are like boulders! Not to sure about this pillow, I have woke several times with my neck sweating, I was hoping it would keep me cooler. I like that it keeps it shape but it has got abit of a musky smell about it. I will keep with it at the moment but not convinced it's worth the money.

Best pillow I've ever brought..I've had it well over 6yrs and with proper care it has lasted me well..but with age it's now getting a little saggy in the middle and needs replacing..yes it was expensive but you can't put a price on a good nights sleep.

If I could rate this with zero stars I would. A really bad product. I bought this for my wife and I had to exchange it within a year of purchase and now less than two years after getting the new one it is flat as a pancake and no use to anyone. 80 for a product that is not up to scratch at all. I myself have pillows I paid 12 each for from Home Bargains that have lasted longer and are in better condition than this "premium" product. Avoid at all costs.

We bought these pillows in conjunction with the mattress in February 2019, they and the mattress are still going strong and I was going to purchase some for my daughter. But the recent reviews make me wonder if they have down graded the product probably due to rising costs and just like everybody else, i don't want to spend this amount of money for an inferior product. Such a shame as our pillows do exactly what we were told they would.

The pillow Instore is completely different to the slop you get. I will admit for the first few months this pillow was good but it started to disintegrate quickly. The pillow you get is 2 what feel like offcut sections of foam and 3 years down the line the foam has completely disintegrated

This was the worst pillow! It was nothing like the one instore. It killed my neck as it was so high. Luckily I was able to swap it for a different one in store. I wish I had read the reviews on here before buying as the negative ones are all true!

This was great to begin with but 30 months later the foam has broken up into lumos and now offers very little support. They say it has a 5 year guarantee so very disppointing. See other reviews saying the same thing.
