Why our sleep experts loved it
I got my hands on the Bergen 2 Door Sliding Wardrobe recently and, straight away, it made sense why people go for sliding doors in smaller rooms. With the doors sliding rather than swinging out, I could stand right up close and still get into it without doing that awkward shuffle around the bed. The drawers are soft-close and, when I gave them a proper push, they eased shut nicely without that bang you get on cheaper units. That said, if you're expecting a huge amount of hanging space, a 2 door slider like this can feel a bit tight once you've got bulkier coats and longer dresses in there.
I can see it working in a bedroom, spare room, or even a hallway if you've got the width for it, but I'd measure carefully because sliding wardrobes can look compact yet still take up a fair bit of wall space. Running my hand along the finish, it felt smooth enough, but darker colours will show fingerprints and dust quicker, so you'll be wiping it down more often. The drawers are handy for smaller bits, socks, tees, gym stuff, but they don't replace proper shelving if you're the sort that likes everything stacked and visible. It's available in multiple colours, which is great for matching your décor, but for the money I'd want really clear instructions and solid fittings in the box, because wardrobes like this live or die by how well they're put together.
