Comfort is what owners write about most. "So comfortable had the best nights sleep in years since getting it" is typical. The feel they describe is firm underneath with a softer top: one owner called it "Firm but still allows you to sink into mattress for a cosy sleep", while another liked the "lovely soft layer on the top which has a bit of give in it".
Several owners with bad backs or arthritis say they wake with less pain, and one wrote that it "has eliminated most of my pain". Some couples mention not disturbing each other, with one reporting "no roll together or feeling the other person move around". One owner said theirs "has kept its shape so far", but a minority report dips appearing within weeks.
The mattress provides exceptional support which will reward back sleepers.
Side sleepers might find the firm tension a step too far and may need to consider something with a medium tension.
The height catches some owners out. One was shocked by it once the mattress was on their divan: "We had to buy a new lower base." Others say standard sheets no longer fit, or as one put it, "Need those deep fitted sheets for sure." One owner found it so heavy that they "absolutely dread changing the sheets".
A minority of owners report dips or sagging, sometimes within weeks. And finally, they have added an easy-care non-turn mattress feature. It's perfect for those looking to avoid extra hassle caused when you need to rotate it because it doesn't need turning!
This eco-friendly pocket sprung mattress has 3000 pocket springs, including 1500 traditional pocket springs and 1500 nano springs for personalised comfort. It has a firmness rating of 'firm', with a balance latex layer offering excellent body support. Sitting on the edge, it held up pretty well, but it's not the most rigid edge support I've tried if you tend to perch there a lot. The cover features a Tencel™ anti-allergy fabric for enhanced breathability, and it felt smooth and cool under my hand. The mattress height is 38cm and the 10-year guarantee ensures a high degree of confidence in the product, although that height can make it a bit of a faff to get a deep fitted sheet on.
