I bought this 2 weeks ago and it’s been amazing so far, the pocket springs combined with the memory foam pillow top makes this bed very comfy and a dream to sleep on! Far better than my old simba hybrid mattress as that one was all memory foam, Good pocket springs from a reputable company like silent night are the way to go! And the fact this bed has a pillow top to make it that lil bit comfier is great, the pillow top is lowkey essential.. The bed come a bit firmer than I’d have liked took 3 nights to break it in, then it was perfect and it’s been very comfy ever since! I didn’t see this bed in store as it’s online only but I’m so glad I went with this one absolute dream! Only negative I do have is the fact it took 2-3 weeks to arrive which meant I had to sleep on my neighbours 10 year old mattress while I waited for it to come, defo worth it though. Positives • Very comfortable • Pocket springs provide adequate support without reducing any comfort • It looks like a well built mattress that will last a long time • 8 year guarantee for a extra fee but wasn’t too expensive for the peace of mind provided • Look for excuses to get to bed earlier now • Perfect size (little bit smaller than my simba double but works well with my bed frame) • Good height mattress! • Mirapocket zoned springs are a great help to provide support & comfort Negatives • Took what felt like a month for the item to arrive • Can’t see the item in any store in the Uk for some reason it’s online only which is annoying • No handles on the sides so turning the bed round is a ball ache!! Overall I’d give it 5 stars so far I may do another review 6 months in and let you all know how I get on with it as I’m aware mattresses can change from 2 weeks - 6 months hopefully this one stays comfortable and supportive it looks well built so I’ve got a feeling this will be the case.. Good Points: This is a REALLY firm mattress, like sleeping on a floor. That is just what I wanted. I have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which means my skeleton is not held in place properly due to my connective tissue being 'floppy'. This is the best mattress I have ever owned (far better than 'luxury' brands costing upwards of £1,000) and supports my skeleton perfectly. At last, I can have a comfortable night's sleep and not wake up with dislocated joints (yes, that does happen) and severe pain all over my body. So, for me, this mattress is heaven itself. However, you have to realise that this is like sleeping on a breeze block for most of your body. If your current mattress is saggy, it is probably because it's old or worn or hasn't been turned properly. Do not buy a 'very firm' mattress to replace it unless you want a really HARD bed! Pretty much any new mattress will be firmer than an old one. This mattress is designed for people who are obese or disabled or have an extremely bad back that is permanent. I would imagine that for other people it would be way too firm. So beware of that before you buy. But if you know you want a very firm mattress, then believe me, you can't do better than this for the price. So long as you rotate it every week initially as recommended (after two months you can rotate it once a month), it does not sag. I have had mine about six weeks now and there is no sag whatsoever. Improvement Points: Why oh why are there no turning handles? Especially when this mattress is for people with bad backs etc? Come on manufacturers, this is so silly - just put handles on the mattress! If you are slim, please read the 'good points' - this mattress will probably leave you covered in bruises as it is so firm, so beware!

I have been sleeping on the Silentnight 1400 Ultra spring mattress in Super King size for a few weeks now and I think I have got a pretty good sense of it. It's a firm mattress definitely not soft or squishy but that's exactly what I was after. It feels properly supportive especially for my back. Since switching to it I have noticed I sleep better with less tossing and turning and no more waking up with back aches. Hubby is especially happy.One thing to note is the height. This mattress is thick and if you've got it on an ottoman bed like I do it sits pretty high. It's not a dealbreaker but depending on your room setup or how tall you are it might feel a bit too raised. In smaller rooms or with lower ceilings it can feel a bit oversized.Moving it into place was a bit of a mission. It is really heavyaround 50kg and the size makes it awkward to handle up the stairs into the bedroom. Took two men to get it upstairs and onto the bed frame. If you've got tight stairs or narrow hallways make sure to plan ahead. It's not something you want to do solo.The mattress is single-sided so you can't flip it but only rotate it. That's fine for me but if you're used to flipping your mattress every so often just keep in mind that this one isn't designed for that.The mattress came with a couple of pillows too which was a nice touch. Summing up it is a firm comfortable mattress with gel for orthopedicsupport and it feels like it is built to last. My back feels better and I'm sleeping more soundly. If you want something supportive and don't mind the height or the heavy lifting during setup i would say the Silentnight 1400 Ultra is a solid pick. Just make sure your room and bed frame can handle the size and maybe have someone around to help you get it into place.

Good Points: Extremely light, one adult can pick it up for king size. Delivery is on time. Nothing else. Improvement Points: Extremely regrets to purchase it by below reason 1. It is not 'extra firm' as it states from our experience, and my family member got back pain experience next day morning when sleep on it. 2. Extremely light, one adult can easily pick it up alone for king size, not sure the material is strong enough or not inside the mattress. Since my previous mattress of other brand is extremely heavy and even two adult need hard to pick it up 3. If partners sleep and move the body on the mattress, I will feel the mattress is moving so if sleep on it better not move often otherwise partner hard get to sleep. 4. Edge is not strong than center, so even sit on it the edge, it will collapse and not balanced on whole. If sleep on it, it's better don't sleep near the edge, and you will feel it is a little bit collapsed and feel uncomfortable. 5. This mattress not supporting people steps on it from CS reply and it is claims as misuse and no warranty will be provided. Indeed, the mattress is not damage just very soft when step or push it by hands. It will collapsed easily. So, if anyone have the same case with us that have cabinet on top of our bed, than you should consider seriously since you need to step on the mattress for put in or remove things from the cabinet. Its the first time I heard mattress not support people step on it and it will void the warranty. From our previous experience, it is normal usage since mattress should be a strong product. Indeed, the mattress not got any worsen condition when we step on it to test the mattress firm level, it just not feel extra firm and comfortable in our mind. 6. When i ordered the mattress, I did not take any picture, and CS replied that when we placed the order on Oct 2022, it don't provide 60 days trial period. I was very surprised since CS reply trial sleep is new promotion after we placed the order. I did not take any evidence so I can only believe and accept it. 7. CS are not able to provide any help on my purchase. Only said that we misused since it don't support people step on it and it is misused even it is not damaged. After few email conversation, CS replied that we don't have 60 days trial sleeping on the mattress when we placed the order. We are very disappointing on it since we have mentioned our purchase date and provide order no from the beginning of email conversation. 8. Even it is a cheap model , but not actually cheap in the market that can found in other shops with other brands. Next time I will considered more carefully when placing order. 9. For anyone reference, I am around 65 KG and my husband is around 85KG. So we are not heavy weight person in general. 10. Most people give high marks of the mattress quality, only little give low marks. We should believe in low marks person rather than high mark person review and we are regretting on it.

Ordered a different mattress which was clearly not a new mattress, it had felt missing and marks on it, so I made a complaint and was told they would exchange it but when they came to exchange it, they wouldn't because of the marks on the mattress which they were already aware of as I'd sent pictures, then when I contacted the consumers rights website, they said they had to exchange it and they were liable for the delivery charges but they wouldn't pay the delivery and we had to pay another £49 to exchange this damaged item, if you purchase from an online store, the consumer's website states that by law the company are liable for the delivery fees!!! t They wouldn't budge on that but exchanged the mattress, only this time they brought the wrong one being an extra firm mattress when we had ordered and paid for a firm mattress. We contacted Dream's again to explain and was basically told we were stuck with it. I'm a disabled lady and this mattress is absolutely crippling for both me and my partner whom isn't disabled. I would never use Dreams again. The delivery lad's confirmed that half of the mattresses that people are getting have already been previously returned from other customers which would explain why they are all so bad in the first place. A disgrace of a company. I don't expect to purchase a new item that has already been used and sent back god only knows how many times previously? So we're £400 out of pocket and have had to throw this mattress away because I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy because it's so bad! Go and look at the real review websites and not the one's like trust pilot who remove bad reviews or don't let you post them!

I have had this mattress for 5 weeks now. When I first unpacked it, there was a slight smell for a day, but since then it hasn't smelt at all. (It smelt of canvas which I found quite pleasant actually!) It feels nice and soft each night when you first get on it, but then can feel it supporting you. I guess this is what is meant by a medium-firm mattress. (My old mattress was over 20 yrs old; if anything it would have been rated as very firm!) I have had no problem sleeping with this mattress, no aches or pains when waking up. It is recommended to rotate the mattress once per week for 12 weeks, so I am still doing that. It is easy to do using the handles on the side of the mattress. No depressions in the mattress have appeared, and it still feels just like new. Although we have already had both hot nights and cold ones, I have never felt too hot or cold due to the mattress (obviously the duvet used is also going to make a difference). Overall I am extremely satisfied with the mattress, and with mattressonline.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not convinced but I think the problem is me, not the product. The mattress is clearly very good quality, but it's a lot firmer than I was hoping for and expecting from the soft/medium description. On the spare bed, which is a fully sprung base, it works reasonably well, which is why I haven't yet engaged the 60 day return option, but on the bed I ordered it for originally, which is a solid Ottoman base, it is way too hard. I'm sure that with use it will soften up, but it's still way too hard for me personally to sleep on comfortably and I doubt it will ever be that soft. Indeed, in desperation I ended up going to a shop and buying a much cheaper (and far inferior quality), softer mattress because I simply couldn't do 30 days sleeping on that mattress. I am going to contact Mattress Online today and enquire about swapping it for something softer.

Good Points: Quality is obvious. If we hadn't had a tempur for over ten years, I would say this is a really comfy bed and would be happy for its life time use. Albeit, only five years gauranteed! Having had a tempur though, I would probably revert back. Mainly due to spouse requiring that extra softness and a complete awareness removal from any turn/roll movement by partner. While this is a fantastic make and constructed with the Best Materials, we have been served well with the tempur and too be honest, can say, there aren't any regrets with the purchase. Improvement Points: Comparing this to our tempur, it would be difficult to separate, based on the very different structures. That said, a longer guarantee period would be an advantage. Price for price - this would be a distinct advantage.

We tried the mattress in the shop and picked it over the medium/firm version. However when the mattress was delivered it was so firm it caused my partner hip pain. We contacted mattress inline via the 60 day sleep guarantee and they swapped it next day. The service was 5* and reason we buy all our mattresses via them. The new mattress is the medium firm and is super comfy even after the first night. Makes me think the first was faulty it was that hard and nothing like the shop one we tried.

The mattress smells like a farmyard, not natural, and has made our bedding smell as well as the bedroom. This is not the natural smell the company claims, there is something wrong with the mattress. We cannot have the mattress removed from our home or changed for another month as the company wants to send somebody to check the mattress, but they cannot visit us for the next four weeks. Do not ever buy a mattress from Harrison Spinks unless you enjoy your bedroom and bed linen smelling like you are sleeping in a barn on a farm.
