The TheraPur Polar ActiGel® 1000 is a luxuriously soft and supportive mattress that helps you get the best out of every single night thanks to its use of modern technologies and a great use of deep and luxurious ActiGel foam. When I pressed into the surface with my hand, it had that slow, cushioned give you expect from gel-infused memory foam.

Its clever pressure-relieving design helps to relieve pressure from your joints and muscles, promoting deep, restful sleep. This mattress is made from a proprietary blend of premium-grade materials and features high-quality, pocketed springs to help you stay comfortable. That said, if you like a really bouncy, 'on top' feel, the foam layers can make it feel a bit more hugged than some will want.

The bed is coated with an ActiCool® knitted cover and helps promote additional airflow, creating a great all-season mattress that will keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. The result actually works particularly well and the gel pairing works with the pocket springs to increase breathability further. I ran my palm over the cover and it felt smooth and cool to the touch, but it can still sleep a touch warmer than a basic pocket sprung mattress if you really run hot.

The ActiGel® Polar 1000 is a medium tension which is suitable for most people of average build and will prove suitable for both side and back sleepers alike making it a great mattress for almost everyone. I sat on the edge for a minute and it held up decently, but the edge does compress more than a firmer, more spring-forward mattress, so if you perch on the side a lot it's worth bearing in mind.

I searched for weeks in different shops looking for a bed that would, suit my needs and give me a good nights sleep. O have a back problem and a lung disease which causes me to have difficult nights, I'm restless and can never get comfortable at night to sleep. I finally found the one, the one bed that had not only given me the ability to feel relaxed and comfortable but i SLEEP. This is a big deal to me ,as i can sometimes go several night without any. The bed mattress exterior in a lovely soft light padding, and although the mattress is class as soft its still firm enough, that it allows my spine the correct position. I feel the mattress almost cuddles me up as i sink in to it . I also got it at a slightly reduced price in the sale. Thank you Dreams so much.

The most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on,... If your significant other is actually a human hot water bottle and you enjoy the cool side of the pillow then this is the mattress for you, Disclaimer: If you actually have to get up in the morning and go about your business then i wouldn't recommend it as it is far too comfortable and before you know it you have slept through all of your alarms and might as well go back to bed and wait for tomorrow to try again.

Absolutely fantastic experience with dreams. We went into the shop and the assistant was so attentive and really helped us to find our dream bed. The guys who came to put up the bed were so efficient and so friendly. What is the expected lifespan of this mattress if slept on every night by two, lighter than average, people. I note that the guarantee is only for one year in comparison with a ten year guarantee for a more traditional mattress.

I am confused about the guarantee on the TheraPur ActiGel Polar 800 Mattress. In the Overview it says "Rest easy with a 10-year guarantee" but we were told in store that it was only 1 year and so we bought the Extended Bed Cover.
