The Sutton Upholstered Ottoman Bed Frame is a frame i've had my eye on for a while now and for good reason what with the textured woven finish, dark shades and ottoman storage option, it's clear that this will be a fan favourite for years to come.

Starting with the visuals, the Sutton is available in two colour options of both grey and silver; whichever colour option you choose will look great in a modern room set but for me personally, I love the grey and find the darker colour looks slightly more modern.

Manufactured from a solid base, the ottoman storage is utilised really well in the Sutton, giving expansive storage space (29cm deep) that is far more useful than the 2 and 4 drawer divans typically seen at this price point. Ultimately you get more storage space for a reasonable price point in a good quality design and material that will reward you with somewhere to house all necessary bedding and sheets.

Reviews for the Sutton is good with over 370 reviews and a 96% consumer satisfaction it's clear there's a lot to be thankful for with this frame. Customers liked how sturdy the frame was with a few users commenting that the mattress feels a little firmer also as a result of the solid base. Others enjoyed how easy it was to build the bed, finding it coming in at under an hour with only the most minor of inconvenience, showing the clever design carries through the entire process from start to finish. We've still managed to find a few negative reviews however, all a bit of a mixed bag with a couple unhappy with the colour difference between photos and reality with reports that the grey is slightly browner. I've actually seen this ottoman in person and wouldn't personally agree, it looked grey enough to me at the time of review. Other negatives come in the form of build quality with people unhappy with the build quality surrounding the slat storage gaps. The negatives are few and far between and with no real concise grouping, it's fair to say that you will in all likelihood find joy with this type of base thanks to its great value and good looks.

Excellent experience. Helpful drivers who we paid for the service of building the bed also when purchasing the bed. A service I would recommend. They were so quick, respectful of my property, followed covid guidance, courteous and made sure we understood how the bed works after it was built. The bed itself is extremely good. The storage space is amazing. I have no other storage and this has been a fantastic space saver for our room. The lift up end is very convenient for moving bed around room if we wish to have a change about. It works on pistons so lifts slowly and closes slowly. I am a fit and able bodied person so I have no difficulty with lifting the ottoman up, however, perhaps for someone that isn't very strong or who can't lift their arms all the way up it may be too difficult to open and also to close as you do have to push down quite hard ( i believe a review should be helpful to others!) I personally would highly recommend this bed for someone who struggles with storage space. I like the fact the head board is included. The design is nice looking. It's sturdy unlike my previous bed (not bought from here) and is my best purchase this year.

Bed arrived in perfect condition. The delivery guys were amazing, the delivery driver Robert and his colleague Robson went out of their way to rejuggle their slots so that they could work around my timing constraints to deliver the bed to me. Upon arrival they were very courteous, took off their shoes upon entering my home and placed the four boxes where I had asked them to. The bed was well packaged, the instructions were easy to follow and all the tools I needed to make the bed were included in the tool kit which was really helpful. I made the bed myself in between school run and other errands so it took some time to put it together. The instructions even had a page for kids to colour to keep them occupied which was a nice touch! My young child was busy colouring in the page whilst I attended to the final steps in putting my bed together. The bed looks lovely and has a good storage space underneath. I am very pleased with the purchase. My husband really liked the style and the colour too. Modern and practical.

I've been in the market for a bed for a good long while and only recently had the funds available to make the purchase. I've been contemplating an ottoman bed or some other storage-type bed and finally decided to take the plunge on this beauty. Having had regular wooden-frame beds prior to this, it's an understatement to suggest that this bed is convenient. The storage space is substantial and helped solve a lot of my clutter issues in my bedroom. The hydraulics work amazingly well with little to no effort required to lift the base, even with a mattress on top. Also it doesn't have one of those grossly oversized headboards that I've seen a lot on other retailer websites. The padding on the headboard is comfortable too. All in all, a great bed which will fit into any room and allow you to make the most of your space. Also big props to the guys who put it together, super quick and cleared everything away.

I ordered this bed during the third lockdown period of the pandemic and as expected I had to assemble the frame myself. The delivery guys were as courteous and friendly as ever and apologised that they were able to assemble the frame for us but this was to be expected due to the restrictions etc. I have to say that the assembly was a piece of cake even for myself and Im no DIY expert but I managed it within an hour. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and all parts easy to identify so dont be put off by buying and then having to do the assembly yourself. Once it was completed and mattress in place I tried the ottoman lift, I expected it to be quite heavy to lift and was really pleased to find how easy it was to raise and lower it. This is a great bed and cant recommend it enough, great service from Dreams and their delivery guys and wont hesitate to buy again from them.

Extremely well made components (heavy) arrived in 4 packages. Very clear instructions and took two of us about an hour and a half to construct. The headboard is well padded and comfortable to rest on when reading in bed. The bed base is rock solid with no movement or creaks - it's going nowhere. The ottoman hinged mechanism is quite stiff to open and close initially but following the instructions, opening and closing it a couple of dozen times made it easier to operate. We have a reasonably heavy memory mattress and the ottoman remains securely open, needing quite a bit of weight to close it down - which is fine by us. The space beneath is huge and has allowed us to clear a whole cupboard full of spare bedding and travel cases that are only used infrequently. Overall, we have no negatives are extremely pleased with this bed.

Very easy to assemble with 2 people. Instructions and all equipment bar a tape measure (for measuring the screw lengths) are included, although I was missing two washers thankfully I had some on hand and they weren't anything majorly important. Base is quite low but my mattress adds height, however, there is plenty of space underneath for what I wanted to put under. The base floor isn't attached they are just wooden squares fitted together inside, on the floor. I didn't know what I was expecting but it seems to work well. I suppose if you didn't want the base you could just remove them but I think they also keep the frame from shifting around when you move. All in all good bed and seems very solid! I hope it withstands the test of time

Having an Ottoman bed frame previously from Dream, when it was time to get a newer, bigger bed frame I knew exactly what I wanted. I looked through the selection on the website, and this one was the one that won overall. I like the fact it's a solid base the mattress lies on instead of a wooden slat frame, it's actually more comfortable. The space underneath easily fits 8 x 42 litre storage boxes with gaps for moving things around. When putting it together, I do suggest at least 2 people, don't do this solo! However, the instructions were clear enough, it came with all the parts and labelled correctly. I do recommend this bed for anyone who wants a King Size Ottoman, it's sturdy, spacious and rather stylish too!

The bed arrived in several numbered flat pack boxes. The delivery persons re-confirmed that I had the correct boxes before they departed. The assembly of the bed is relatively easy. All parts were ticked off from the instruction listings. I was able to assemble parts of the bed outside (ample space is favourable for assembly) before moving into the bed room. The assembly instructions were clear. No issues during the assembly although I would recommend the assistance of a second person during the make up of the bed components. The bed appears to be robust and the ottoman feature has freed up a lot of storage space in the bed room. The bed also looks good in a minimalist/modern fashion.

This is a great bed. Given that my stairs have a tight corner (Id previously ordered a Divan that wouldnt fit up them), but I dont personally like slatted beds, this solves those issues, as its flat-packed but has a platform for the mattress to lie on. The storage space is great too and the mechanism works really well. My only slightly critique is that Dreams could offer more solutions to people with the two issues mentioned above. I believe it is only this and the Ealing that tick both of those boxes, and if I remember correctly the wait time on an Ealing was very king, as was the wait time on the lighter coloured Sutton.

Bought this bed as an atrractive underbed storage option. The bed itself is very sturdy and the storage is deceptively large. It has meant i dint even need an ectra chest of drawers. The piston opening system qlso feels very robust. The headboard is quite large so beware if you are taking this upstairs and have a steep stairwell and narrow door as I did. Quite a challenge getting it up the stairs. Upolstry padding isnt very deep but then at this price and with storage it probably isnt supposed to be. The material is great and feels durable. All in all very happy with it and was very easy to assemble.

This bed is fantastic. I wanted an ottoman bed and the storage capability is great. It has much more storage space than a divan with drawers. I decide to put the bed together myself as delivery was a couple of days before I needed it. Assembly instructions are easy to follow and requires 2 people. It is extremely heavy and has no castors so it is flat on the floor. Once assembled, it is pretty much impossible to move, therefore, my advice is to make sure it is where it is wanted before assembling the ottoman mechanism, i.e. up against the wall. Overall I'm very pleased and happy with this bed.

I had to wait two months for it but other than that, its all been smooth. I was given a two-hour time slot. The team arrived 15 minutes into that time slot. They were super friendly and also gave me a couple of top tips for when I came to assembling it. DIY is not my forte. I was tempted to try to assemble it on my own but Im very glad I decided not to do that. You definitely need two people to assemble. So far, so good! Bought with a SilentNight Newbury Mirapocket mattress and have literally just got into bed for my first night!

Answer: Yes, you can follow the assembly instructions in reverse to disassemble your bed frame. This should take the same amount of time as assembling the bed frame (approx. 1.5 hours).

Answer: Our ottoman bed frames do not have casters and either come on feet or sit flush on the ground. These frames are just over 100kg in weight, so can be moved by 2+ people if required.
