I got my hands on the Haze 2 Seater Sofa Bed in person and the main thing that jumped out straight away is how much it tries to do in a small footprint. It is not only a comfortable sofa but also a large and comfy bed when you need it to be, but there are a couple of trade-offs that come with that.

A new sofa bed for small spaces

The Haze 2-Seater Sofa Bed is perfect for small spaces, its traditional sofa design combined with its folding mechanism means it can be easily converted into a full size bed. When I pushed down on the seat and arms, it felt reassuringly solid, and those four feet that protrude from each arm do add to the 'planted' feel when you're sat on it. The flip side is that the protruding feet can be a bit of a toe-catcher in tight rooms, and it is worth measuring your walkways if this is going in a narrow space. It features a recliner to ensure long periods of comfort, although I did find the recline positions a bit 'all or nothing' rather than loads of fine adjustment.

A perfect sleep.

This sofa bed has a supportive pocket sprung sleeping area for an even more relaxing night's sleep. Lying on it on my back, I could feel the pocket springs responding under my hips rather than that hammocky dip you get with some cheaper sofa beds, which is a good sign. On my side though, it felt a touch firmer through the shoulder than I'd want for an all-night sleep, so lighter side sleepers might not love it as a main bed. The mattress is able to offer a great degree of support that mimics that of a traditional mattress, but it still doesn't feel quite as deep as a proper standalone mattress, so I'd treat it as a guest bed first and foremost.

I bought this for my spare bedroom, which is a space for me where I can sit and read, but the sofa bed is there in case I have friends staying overnight. The sofa bed is constructed really well and is reasonably heavy, but is very easy to put together when its delivered, you only have to put the side arms on, and the lower part of it which becomes the 3rd part of the bed just slides in so easily. When you pull out the bottom 3rd to make it into a bed, just grab the handle and pull and it easily pulls up, and lowering the back is just as easy and there you have a comfy double bed. I have bought a mattress topper for extra comfort but thats just a personal thing, it is comfy without one. My nephew recently slept on it and hes 64, and he was very comfortable and slept well. I purchased this online but I had been to a Dreams store and tested it beforehand, then bought it some weeks later because I had ordered my wonderful TV adjustable bed that day. As a footnote, when the Dreams delivery guys arrive with your bed and you have paid for them to assemble it, they are brilliant. Surprisingly sized sofa and double bed! Comfy to sit and sleep on as well as being easy to convert from a sofa into a bed. My only complaint is that it's very firm to sleep on - which I personally like, however our guests have commented on how firm it is. We managed to combat this by adding a removable mattress topper which made all the difference. Product seems very well put together and was very simple to build (Circa 15 mins in total) One thing to note, the complete box weighs over 70KG's and it was a struggle getting it up the stairs (had the delivery men and myself all trying but had no luck) due to the box having no handles to carry with. In the end it required us to dismantle it in the driveway and carry the sections up individually. The colour online looks more yellow than the product is in person - I'd say it's more beige / biscuit colour in person, which worked for us as it's more neutral. Overall, would recommend this product.

This bed is perfect for what we needed. It's firm but comfy with a really nice fabric finish. The recliner works really well and the bed is really comfy. Mechanism seems solid too. The bed was delivered and we did not pay for the assembly, sadly this meant that the delivery guys, who were not able to get the bed up the stairs, could not take it out the packaging to get it upstairs. This was not a big problem as the bed easily went up stairs once out the box. The bed has 8 feet, four on the sofa and two on each arm. Sadly two of the feet were broken on delivery, but Dreams soon replaced the items and the bed has never looked better. The colour of the bed is a really subtle light grey that would work in any room. We have paired it with some light yellow and red cushions and it looks amasing.

Delivery on the day was good - put the (very large) box into our room upstairs which wasn't easy! Quite straightforward bit of self assembly to put the ends on but although one side was easy to do, the other was a bit more of a struggle as the holes were just a few millimetres out from each other so trying to screw them together at an awkward angle took a few attempts (hence one star lost). With perseverance we got there in the end and happy with the final result. As a sofa we use it in our spare room as a 'den' of sorts and it's firm but comfy. You can even pull the end of the 'bed' out for a footrest! Changing to a bed is easy to do - we haven't had anyone stay overnight on it yet but don't foresee any issues as it seems sturdy.

Settee is great with firm seats and a robust structure. The fabric is exactly as shown on the website, and a breeze to transform to a double bed. The foam may be a bit firm for some people, but I'm ok with it. If you prefer a softer mattress, you may need to get a topper. We also bought 'sliders' (used under the sofa legs) for ease of pulling the unit out when transforming into a bed. This really helps specially when it's located in a carpeted floor. Assembly was relatively easy although you will spot (underneath) a few 'quality-related' issues on workmanship. It didn't really bother me considering the price we paid for. The overall look is still good, and as long as it lasts, it's definitely a good buy.

I bought this sofa bed & matching chair about a month ago and its perfect. Not a clunky mechanism and easy to make into a bed. Sturdy and comfortable to sit on and sleep on. Two adults slept comfortably for 3 nights - no complaints. Looked at many other sofa beds in different price ranges but this does not compare. Also purchased the matching chair. Only down side is that the arms are slightly hard so I put side cushions on to pad this out. Paid for assembly - only down side is that they wouldnt put the chair together /take the chair packaging but it was easy enough for two of us to put together. Hard wearing, modern & stylish pattern. If a student get a 10% discount through student beans!

Bought the Haze sofa bed for its dual purpose, occasionally needing a bed for guests but mostly wanting to have floor space provided by it being a sofa. Sofa looks very attractive in style and fabric is pleasing too. Converts to a great size double bed which is perfectly adequate as a temporary sleeping solution for my two adult guests. It does border on being very firm ( hence the 4 stars) however this is much preferred to being too soft. Have added a topper to compromise on the softness. Previous reviews were very helpful in assisting us to make the choice and cant rate Dreams highly enough in ease of ordering and arranging the delivery. Their delivery staff were great too.

Love Sofa bed , my Mum has one also, we love the Click Clack pulling the tab to create the bed , I was very happy to receive the sofa bed but then I realised it needed assembly and I hadn't paid for that service. Maybe this happened because I bought it over the phone without seeing and going through all the arrangements during the "check out" process, I would have booked it and paid the extra if I knew! s I was unaware that it needed assembly so I didn't pay and book in that extra service which is a spanner in the works as I live alone and am no good at this type of thing. So, I may have to find a handy man to put it together until then it's in bits in the living room!

We bought this as an occasional bed use. It's very comfortable and my wife and I have used it in our spare room / study whilst decorating our main bedroom. We were both using it for 7 days in a row and it was very nice. We both suffer from a bit of lower back pain at times but this did not cause our backs to be sore. Very happy with this and I like to chill out on it with just the lower pull out section and the back in the upright position which makes it very comfortable and nice to chill in. It's more than wide enough for two people to sleep in (we have a king size bed in our main room and have more than enough room to sleep) Would recommend this.

Sofa bed was bought to be put in a small spare bedroom and would only be used on the odd occasion when relatives/friends were visiting and staying the night. Was surprised when it was delivered as it is very heavy and solid looking - it weighs 75 kilos. Had to assemble it myself - thought the delivery men would do that - and must confess it looks good. It's a comfortable sofa to sit on and it was used as a bed within a few days as daughter and husband came for the weekend. It is easy to convert from sofa to bed and vice versa and I was told it was a very comfortable bed. No complaints whatsoever about the sofa bed. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

The assembled sofa bed looks good and works well. Would have given it 5 stars except for the hassle of assembly because of poorly fitted parts. Two of the threaded inserts were not aligned properly. Consequently one screwed stud went in at an angle and had to be straightened with force (it was not cross threaded, it was just not aligned properly) and the second one had real difficulty getting the screwed stud in also due to misalignment of the threaded insert. I'm an engineer so I know poor fittings when I see them and had to be so careful to avoid cross threading the screwed studs. It's a shame because once it was assembled it is a really nice sofa bed.

I love it! Its so great seeing my boyfriend in his arm chair (yup, hes claimed it hah!) and feet up on the matching Haze Ottoman. Perfect for doing a bit of work on the laptop while were watching TV. He even stores his work/laptop in the ottoman when hes finished. Its a great size, not too big or small, and the quality is just fab. Sturdy little thing! I must say also, the delivery guys were amazing too, so professional and friendly. So happy with the product and service that well definitely be shopping with Dreams for our new bed frame and mattress when we move end of the year! Delivered on time with a great communication before. Easy to assemble. Robust, looks like will serve long time. Easy to covert to bed and back. Great quality top material. Fits 3 people if sitting. For sitting more comfortable if a few pillows are added behind the back. Overall we consider it a great purchase: we needed a small in size size sofa bed to fit in our small living room, to convert into a comfortable sleeping place for 2 average height people and for the mattress to stay firm for sleeping even if the sofa is used daily for sitting, and this sofa delivers on these requirements perfectly. Great quality for money.

I bought this sofa bed for occasional use in the play room. The delivery was early which was nice as I needed to get to work, but there was no offer of the sofa bed being built! The boxes were just left in the room and off they went. Upon opening the box everything was straight forward to assemble. However there were no instructions should you be someone who is not practically minded. One of the four pilot holes was not aligned correctly and one of the slider stops for the base section was bent. Thankfully the hubby was able to sufficiently straighten. For the price a comfortable, easy to use occasional sofa/ bed.

I bought this couch a month ago and we're using it daily - folding and unfolding to sleep. It's very sturdy and thick, and has lot of space for 2 people (and a cat). Very good quality material, even though we're trying our best to prevent the cat from scratching it, it's unavoidable, but the couch shows little to no tear where she sunk her claws into (unlike our previous couch which looked like trash within 2 weeks of her joining our family). Love the fact that it has a "lounging" option with the back lifted, but bottom extended. Allows you to sit back while extending your feet. Lovely overall, highly recommended!

We brought this to have in the spare room and wanted something that was nice to look and use when people came to stay. This is a lovely sofa bed easy to put down although told it was not the comfiest to sleep on. However does the job on these few occasions. When the sofa was first delivered after the men had put it together and left I noticed a mark on it and not sure if it was the pattern. I contacted dreams and sent photos and this is being swapped. I can not fault the service at dreams and no quibble regards swapping. I gave 4 stars due to the stain/ pattern. I would recommend this sofa bed.

I bought this Item around 3 weeks ago, and chose the later delivery slot to fit in with my decorating schedule. It arrived yesterday (13/9/2019) on time by their delivery driver, Darren. I received updates via email and text regarding my delivery time slot. Very good product, and super easy to assemble. Only downside I found is that in the Instructions, parts only go from A-F. Yet, in the step by step process, it mentions using parts G, H and J. Luckily, it's only 8 bolts to build, so anyone can manage this in half hour. The sofa is now taking pride of place in my spare bedroom for guests. 9/10

Bought this sofa bed last week. Communication from Dreams about delivery was excellent and delivery guys were polite and efficient. Would recommend buying the 'build' option if on your own or lacking in strength as the process meant putting the sofa on its side and screwing the bolts involved some dexterity.. Instructions were misleading as the letters did not match up to the items listed. Why can't someone produce easy to follow instructions for such a simple, straightforward process? On the positive side the bed is firm but more roomy, substantial and comfortable than many others I have tried.

Nicely engaged shop assistants, spending time to carefully explain why the sprung sofa-bed is worthwhile, and how the clunk-click works. Also, we were kept up to date about delivery, which all ran to plan, with a cheerful and helpful team putting the sofa together. Then when I thought the wrong colour had been delivery, the shop team again were unruffled and helpful - and, dopey me, it was my eyesight that caused the problem! I bought this recently from Dreams as needed a sofa bed quickly due to an operation. It looks fab.. its compact feels lightweight 1 lad put together quickly I wish it came in a leather look material as I have pets. I bought as a main sofa but have found it is very uncomfortable as it is very hard same when used as a bed it has hard ridges. I'm 5"5 and it is just the right bed size for me any taller it will not be long enough for you. Plus points easy to use, like the combination of just being able to pull the feet end out. Very light easy to move on a wooden floor.

We haven't had an opportunity to sleep on the sofa bed yet but it seems comfortable. It also looks modern and stylish. We have turned one of our bedrooms into an office and this sofa bed is the perfect choice of furniture - a comfortable sofa to sit on when making 'phone calls but easily made into a bed for guests. It is very easy to fold flat and to put back into a sofa once the bed is no longer needed. If the sofa is pushed back against a wall then there is a shelf behind the sofa on which you can store spare pillows and a duvet. We are delighted with our purchase.

I purchased this amazing piece of furniture to replace the previous sofa-bed for my spare room. The new sofa-bed is a breath of fresh air, offering comfort in all the states it can be set to. It can be a standard sofa, an exteded sofa so you can strectch your feet out, a reclining extended sofa and a bed by pish the backrest down. It's so easy to flip the sofa between the different positions and its take mere seconds. All in all this sofa bed is unbelievably comfortable and great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it as an addition to your guest room.

Bought this in January and have been very happy with the purchase. It sits in my home office and doesn't look out of place. The couch is comfy and good to sit on and when I have a guest over this converts very easily into a bed. It's a little shorter than a normal bed but haven't had an issue so far. The mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. The resulting bed is firm and we do use a mattress topper for it, but we just put that with the duvet when it isn't in use. That said, as a guest bed it's perfectly fine for temporary use which is the reason I bought it for.

After visiting 4 outlets we found the very sofabed for our needs. Sales staff really helpful, no pressure and nothing too much trouble. Received regular updates re the progress of our purchase expected delivery confirming 2 weeks & 1 week before. Then 3 days before, we got an expected delivery time confirmed the day before the slot. We then recieved a phone call from the driver giving us the time within 20 mins. Far more efficient than expected. 1st class service. As for the sofabed, no issues whatsoever. Suite is well made and looks good in the room. As its a bed settee its nice and firm to sit on (you dont sink into it as some settees and then cannot get off it!!) and the 2 chairs are the same. Great for people with aches and pains as its supportive but comfy. The bed opens out into a FULL double bed so plenty of room and support for 2 adults. You dont roll into the middle as with some of the other pullout beds). Very happy with our purchase and the delivery men were friendly and assembled it in no time at all. The suite looks great in our living room.

I bought this sofa bed a couple of months ago for a spare room. We use the room as an office/ games room and occasionally a guest bedroom when family are over. The Haze Sofa Bed has been ideal. It is very comfortable and firm as a sofa and has a great feature that you can pull out the bottom extension without having to collapse the back support so can stretch out to watch a movie. As a bed it is easy to fold out and big enough to accommodate two people. It is firm which we like and looks great. Overall we are delighted with our purchase.

Extremely easy to pull out (just pull on the little lash, bed immediately slides out) and very comfortable. My elderly parents slept on it for a few nights and said is was very comfy. The mattress is thick and quite firm, we tested it at store and were convinced. Easy to mount, space-saving, sleeps 2 persons. Cons: Short mattress (185cm) so if you're tall, your feet will hang out. And the fabric and colours are really boring. The grey is mottled in a rather cold grey, so we went with the natural which is warmer in tone / sand-coloured.

Bought this for our spare room to make it into a sitting room too. Absolutely love it. Its very comfortable as a sofa and the sleeping area is massive. The fold down mechanism is stunningly easy to work. The foot rest and recliner position is such a treat, an unexpected bonus. Used as a bed it is ever so slightly firm, but Id rather have it that way since I know itll last. It fits a neat corner of the room so well, nothing in its design wastes space. Worth every penny and highly recommended.

we bought this for a small bedroom two weeks ago. it looks very smart. it is very comfortable to sleep on and very easy to put up and take down. To gain a few inches of space we have actually not put the arms on as they add about 6 inches to the overall width and the room is very small. This is definitely the comfiest sofa bed we tested and is better than many beds. We particularly like the fact that when assembled there is not a big dip down the centre and that both sides are equally comfortable.

I purchased this item for my spare room , turning an unused room into a functional area . As a sofa through the day the haze looks amazing and is extremely comfortable to sit on . The ease of the mechanism that turns it into a double bed is exactly what I wanted ( and got) As a bed it is excellent for visitors, it was soon put to use and even my rather 'particular ' visitor could not find anything negative to comment on ! We bought this as an extra sleeping option. As a settee it's nice and comfortable and as we have 6 children it seems to be holding up well. As a bed though, it's a little short so if your over 6ft tall, you're not gonna get on well with this. Also it could do with a minor redesign when changed into a bed as the headboard seems to go to low and makes you feel like your head is too far down to make sleeping comfortable. Very good quality otherwise and delivery service was fantastic.

I bought this sofa bed as I needed something in our spare bedroom that was the best of both. There were no reviews mentioned on the product and I only reviewed it online, I didn't see it in a shop so I was chancing my luck a little, but..... I have to say I am very very happy with it, more so than I thought, the quality is superb, very easy to slide out into a bed, the bed/sofa sections are very comfy and the bed is a spacious double. We needed a sofa bed that was comfy as a sofa and for sleeping. We werent keen on the pull out beds with a spring base having had to suffer sleeping on these in the past. We didnt want that for our guests. This sofa bed is a clik clac design so its sturdy and solid. We bought a mattress topper to go over the base when its down and its really comfy. Its such a simple system and so quick and easy to convert. It looks fab too! Absolute delighted with it.

Bought this Sofa Bed after seeing in the store. Although more expensive than some other Sofa beds on the market I wanted something that was stylish, sturdy and comfortable for guests to use. The bed is easy to open when needed and i am very happy with it. I also had the bed assembled and would highly recommend this as it seems a bit complicated and it took 1 hour for the professionals so glad i opted for this option. Would definately recommend this product.

Well made and easy to assemble. Looks the part. Takes seconds to convert to a good size double bed. Just one issue After just a week the fabric has started to stretch on the seating area - so much so that, with regular use, it will soon start to look baggy and loose. As I bought it mainly for use as a bed when my grandchildren visit this isnt a huge problem but does mean, if I want to keep it looking good, I will have to restrict its use as an extra sofa.

We took some time researching for this sofa bed and hadnt even considered Dreams. When we came across it we found it was the right everything, colour style and quality. The sofa bed itself is so much better than others wed seen and much more sturdy. We are so happy with the end result and the delivery guys were amazing. Such a good purchase. If I had to find a negative it would be that it was a little fiddly to put together but that didnt put me off.

All fine. Decent quality though pretty firm. I paid the extra for the Dreams delivery team to assemble it and Im glad I did. 2 strong guys huffing and puffing for 20+ minutes fixing the arms on.There is no way I could have managed that on my own. The lay the sofa on its back then suspended each end one holding it mid air while the other fiddled with various sized bolts. Tricky/ awkward word their words. Hopefully we will get many useful years out of it.

We are delighted with our Haze sofa bed. The quality and build is superb, and looks really stylish in our snug. We love how simple it is to convert it into a bed, and convert it back to a sofa, and is comfortable to lay on as a bed, and sit on as a sofa. We paid extra to have the sofa bed put together, and the two guys were efficient, knowledgeable and polite. All in all we are delighted with our purchase and would highly recommend this product.

It is hard or find a compact sofa bed these dimensions so we were thrilled to find this one. It is easy to assemble and fits three people seated and provides a decent size sofa bed for two. The arms are a little fragile though as we have noticed if you lean on them or if someone puts pressure there is a cracking sound which is a bit concerning so build quality could be better for this price but otherwise very satisfied with the purchase.

I love this sofa bed. I bought it last month and we use it everyday as both a sofa and a bed. Its quite firm (which we prefer) and the transition from sofa to double bed or to recliner was a bit tricky at first but then it became easy. A guest sleeps on the bed every night and it still feels great to sit on. I recommend booking their assembly service as you will need 2 people and its quite heavy although it did come in flat-packed

Bought this sofa bed in the same for what seemed a good price. Installation through Dreams was well worth the money. Sofa bed seems very well made and the mechanism to switch between sofa and bed is slick and easy to use. Shame it isnt offered in more colours/fabric choices. Not the most stylish of sofa beds on the market but certainly one of the slimmest for tight spaces. Overall very happy with the purchase and cannot fault.

Youll fit more than you think inside this. Its compact enough to fit in a my downstairs cupboard, if I need to free up space in my lounge. Although it is fairly heavy, it doubles up as additional seating. As I ordered this with a bed and a sofa bed, it was great that I could alter and push back the delivery date until my new home was ready. This saved having to pay for a storage facility. Very pleased with my purchase!

The Haze is very comfortable as both a sofa and bed. If you are a princess, I'd recommend using a memory foam mattress topper though as when the bed is folded out, you can notice the gaps between each bit of the bed - way more noticeable than a pea. It was very easy to assemble, did it on my own but I'd recommend two people to make it easier but it's definitely doable on your own provided you don't skip leg day.

Bought this to replace another similar product. I like the nice sliding mechanism to convert it to a bed from a sofa. The cushions are a medium- firm ( pro ably a 6 or 7 out if 10) on a firmness scale. I like this because it gives good support to the whole body. The fabric has a cross hatch appearance which gives a nice, posh look. All in all, good purchase so far, and hopefully for many years to come.

A nicely designed sofa bed perfectly fitting my needings. The only flaw has been encountered during the installation due to a couple of screw holes being completely covered (thus invisible) by the inner lining. I had to pierce the lining in oder to insert two of the four bolts and the instruction pdf in its website section is about another model. All in all, it's a great sofa bed well worth the money.

I got this for a spare room, for occassional use. It is very easy to adapt from sofa to bed, although it does need pulling away from the wall a bit. As a sofa and bed it is fairly comfortable, finding an ok balance between the two. I put on a soft mattress protector to make it a bit more comfortable. Without it I'd say it may be a touch on the firm side. Overall I'm happy with it. A decent purchase.

I bought this for my home photography studio for clients to sit on during shoots but then as an extra bed should I have guests come to stay. It is very easy to swap from sofa to bed, and feels really sturdy and is a lovely hard mattress, no nasty springs or uneven lumpy mattress. A good size double although not super long for taller guests. I got it on sale and think I got a great deal.

Great sofa bed, very comfortable and sturdy. The only thing is, one of the zips that hides the top leg doesn't zip shut, it's a faulty zip. It doesn't detract at all from the bed at all, and it is hidden out of sight. The main reason I didn't complain is because the delivery guys worked like Trojans to get it in in the first place. Apart from that minor technicality, I love my sofa bed

It is a wonderfully sized sofa, perfect for the corner of a study, or as a sofa in the spare room - which is our preference. I am told it is essy to assemply in the middle of th enight if I am snoring in the other room. My only criticism is that as a bed it is not th emost comfortable, but you need a duvet and pillows to be kept somewhere anyway, so just buy a mattress topper.

Great small sofa that can fold out to a decent size double bed, but another great feature is that the bottom slides out to give 2 small beds ideal for small children. The sofa is hardish but comfortably, this is agreat alternative for a guest room, we have 3 different functions. The box arrived a bit battered but no damage to the sofa. The sofa went together really easily and is reasonable for the price. The arms are rock hard, very little padding but you can make the sofa comfortable with some cushions. The best thing is pulling out the base, makes a great feature for sprawling out to watch a movie without having to make it a full bed.

Instructions could be a bit clearer- in that it would be helpful to note that before fixing the side panels, you first must remove the pull out part under the bed. However, the instructions could be a little clearer regarding which holes were for the bolts and which for the screws. Nevertheless, we managed to sort it out reasonably quickly.

The instructions arent very clear as the letters dont coincide with the actual parts. If anyones struggling, the long screws go at the top under the seat & the shorter bolts go at the bottom.
