My wife suffers with joint and back issues and took pains (sorry for this pun) in choosing our next bed. This one stood out for her from all the many tried, although she was still concerned despite its comfort she would find it hard getting used to any new mattress, as many people do. So far, 2-3 weeks in, her fears are unfounded and she has spoken of the new mattress only in glowing terms. Im very pleased for her and relieved for me! The members of staff who served us in store were spot on, very helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. We didnt feel pressured or anything, just a great service all round. The delivery day too was a smooth service as promised. Our new Eve guest bed mattress too is a hit, really comfy, purchased in the same store at the same time, along with three amazing new pillows. As you can tell I'm impressed with these products and my overall experience

Glad we chose this one! It is always a worry when only testing in shop for a few minutes so the 40 nights sleep guarantee was reassuring. Now slept on it for 24 nights and am happy to say that we will be keeping it, really good comfortable nights sleep and feels supportive without being hard/too firm. Quality mattress delivered along with lower height bed base due to the increased depth of the mattress, by polite, efficient Bensons delivery team at the time advised. Only drawback is that our old standard double sheets would have been too skimpy for such a deep mattress, we had thought of this and purchased suitable ones prior to delivery. As with all mattresses with a topper pad no flipping over required, thank goodness as it is very heavy. Just turning around so we are able to rotate it around on base as per instructions.

I purchased a double not a single mattress and, at the time of writing, have been sleeping on it for two weeks. So far it is comfortable but there is no dramatic difference to my sleep or to the pain in my back that I experience each morning on rising. Neither of those may be anything to do with the mattress and are certainly no worse than they were and may be a little better. I was told it took 40 days to get used to a new mattress and I am not near that time yet so the jury is out. I purchased a whole new bed to downsize from a super-king and the additional space in my bedroom is much appreciated together with the fact that I can now turn the mattress unaided. It is clearly a good quality product and the service I have had has been excellent.

Myself and my partner purchased this mattress in medium firm from the Barrow in Furness Bensons store approximately 6 weeks ago. The mattress is really comfortable and has eased the back pain I was suffering with. The mattress is quite tall and I found its now much easier getting in and out of bed now but the height took a week or two to get used to as previously we had a mattress around half the height of this one previously. The only disadvantage I can think of is that our old fitted sheets wouldn't fit so we had to buy special deep fitted sheets to go on the new mattress. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a good pocket sprung mattress with great depth to it that won't break the bank.

Really liked the shop. I was able (indeed I was encouraged) to wander round, try out all the beds, ask any questions and generally offer all the assistance I needed without felling pressured in any way. Even the delivery of the bed was easy. The guys turned up, took my old bed away, installed the new one, made sure I was happy with what they had done and left - all with about 40 minutes. I have now had the bed for a month and have rotated the mattress as recommended and it is wonderful! Most of the 'new bed' smell has gone and I am getting an excellent night's sleep every night. Thank you and I will recommend Bensons to anyone who is looking for a new bed.

What can I say. It cost 1,000+ so I would hope it gave a good nights sleep and it does. Just as good as my 40yrs old one. Not sure about the Clima Airstream gimmick. I still wake up sweating. Also, a little perturbed to read the care instructions state not to sit on the edge of the bed. I'm 65 yrs with chronic lung disease, I walked into Bensons with a walker carrying 2 oxygen tanks. I'm going to spend time on the edge of the bed catching my breath!! The assistant didn't mention anything about where to sit on the mattress at time of purchase. I hope I haven't made an expensive mistake.

Best night's sleep for a very long time, mattress doesn't sag at the sides when you sit on the edge of the bed. The wife needs a step at the side of the bed to get on it, cos she's only got little legs . It relaxes you as soon as you are in bed and aids a quick drop off. Noticed I stay asleep in the same position all night, as I used to wake up several times a night with my last bed. Mostly definitely worth the money, plus it puts you in the mood to redecorate the bedroom before it comes .'

Shortly after I paid for the bed and set a delivery date months later in July, the "How did we do" review requests started Now the bed had arrived and I've slept in it, I can say it's very comfortable, but Bensons really need to start asking for reviews AFTER the deliveries The delivery arrived in a tatty old Harveys van, but there was no issue with the delivery guys, who delivered everything I ordered (pillow, mattress, protectors) as well as collecting the old mattress without any fuss.

Absolutely love the mattress we bought, so comfortable and think! The sales lady was very approachable, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. There was no sales pressure like we had in Dreams, , who followed us round the showroom. It put us off and walked out of there. She even managed to get us a discount on our purchase, which was great. I love my new bed with its Slumberland Air 9.0 mattress. It was worth every Penny we spent on it to get a good night's sleep. I knew from the moment I tried it out in the shop that this was the one for me despite trying out several others some of which were much more expensive, they weren't as comfortable as this. I find myself getting up each morning now and not having to spend an age trying to straighten out the kinks in my back.

I wanted a comfortable & snuggly but supportive mattress as I was waking up with a bad back. This mattress is lovely, it's extremely deep so I feel like the Princess and the pea, but it's great and my back ache is much improved, I no longer have that nagging ache when I wake up. Standard fitted sheets didn't quite reach but extra deep ones are widely available and inexpensive and are comfortably able to cover it.

We are all loving our new bed, including the dog. It's nice to know that I won't roll out of bed in the night with the extra support from the sides of the mattress. The memory foam top gives a nice cozy feel to the bed too and I think this is the favourite feature of the dog as she loves to roll from side to side wriggling her legs in the air. Alas it doesn't have the exact same affect on us but still very comfy.

The service from entering the store to the delivery of the mattress was first class. The salesman advised us knowing exactly what I was looking for. The texts between the store and myself was exactly as promised right to the 30 mins before they arrived. The guys were polite and cheery and were only too happy to help. Once they'd delivered the new mattress they took the old one away.

After a horrendous experience with another 'Reputable' retailer, I attended my local store knowing there was an option to have my pressure points mapped and suitable mattresses recommended Opting for the Slumberland 9.0 medium was the best decision I could have made. Delivery was on time and couriers very helpful and careful of our property. However, a reminder to take off the corner packaging would have been helpful. Didnt realise how thick the mattress is - my wife is shortish and it is like a mountaineering adventure for her (she suffers with arthiritis). Mattress itself is comfortable, but we have slept on it for less than 2 weeks.

I've had my new bed & mattress coming up to 4 weeks .. It's a very nice & comfortable mattress BUT as the FITTED KINGSIZE SHEETS DONT FIT PROPERLY AS top of mattress is to thin as fitted sheets are double the depth and we have to make the bed EVERY DAY , we've looked for shorter depth sheets but can't find so it's JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A PAIN to keep sheet in place ..

This is the best mattress we have ever owned and at our ages we have had a few it gives support in all the right places the build is of very good quality the only one down point is why did you only put a handle on one end it makes turning just that bit harder as the mattress is quite heavy and when you get old you need all the help you can get but still a great buy .

Much bigger, ie taller than my previous mattress. I think this is because of the topper. Luckily I am quite tall so getting into bed isn't too much trouble. Previously I could sit on the side of the bed with my feet touching the floor but now my feet are 4 inches above the floor. Having said that the mattress itself is very comfortable compared to my previous one.

Great mattress it's really comfortable and value for money. Have turned as instructed hopefully this will keep in tip top condition. Would highly recommend. The service is excellent. So far so good. I've had this mattress 3 weeks so far and it's comfortable. It's very high with the topper so that takes a bit of getting used to as my bed is already quite high off the floor. Summer will be the big test to see how cooling it is. Can't comment on anything else other than Benson's did a good job from start to finish.

A very comfortable mattress, you sink into the top few centimetres then the firm bottom part supports your body keeping your spine straight thus giving a very comfortable good nights sleep. the only downside is the total thickness of the mattress making it quite high, my shortish wife has trouble getting into bed.

I would definitely recommend the air 9 mattress. I could no longer get comfortable sleeping on an Emma mattress. After injuries sustained in a car accident.I woke in pain everyday. I am sleeping so much better and in less pain. I bought in store at the uddingston branch and the sales staff we're so helpful.

Very comfortable, my husband says it is the best bed he has ever slept on. Due to rotate it but not as heavy as our other mattresses have been. Quite a high mattress which is great as the children can't climb up. Feels like it's fantastic quality, firm but the topping makes it soft at the same time.

We've had it for 3 weeks now and it seems comfortable just firm enough for our backs but not too hard I would say if anyone is getting this mattress as it is quite deep and needs deeper sheets that aren't always available in all shops and to check the size of your bed as it has made it quite high

For a great night's sleep, this is the perfect solution. The Air Memory mattress is extremely comfortable whilst at the same time supporting the body. Unfortunately our problem is finding a fitted sheet to get around the depth of this mattress sufficiently to stay put during the night!

The mattress is nice and cool when you get in bed , you don't get to hot either , this mattress is so comfy i don't want to get out of bed in the mornings . My sleeping was always up and down but since purchasing this mattress i sleep like a baby

My new bed &mattress are amazing, we've had the best nights sleep in a long time, would highly recommend. I have had trouble getting fitted sheets as the mattress is so deep, but I have brought superking FLAT sheets, which has done the trick.

Bed felt so comfortable in shop. We needed a medium mattress as we both suffer from back pain. Sleeping on the mattress my back pain was no different unfortunately felt as if the wrong mattress has been delivered. Few weeks on no improvement.

Very comfortable. Had memory foam before but it was very warm even on the coldest of nights waking up very sweaty. This mattress is much cooler giving you a better nights sleep. Would highly recommend. Very good price for a lovely mattress.

Comfortable mattress, it has softened quite quickly, only had it for two weeks so I'm hoping it doesn't continue to get any softer. Very heavy so difficult to turn if space is tight but overall much better than the mattress it replaced.

So far mattress has been very comfy. I feels well made and of good quality. You sink in just the right amount and being the super king gives you lots of space to move about. Can feel like it holds the heat a wee bit but not too bad.

Mattress is lovely and comfortable but arrived damaged as Did the base. Clearly quality control at the factory missed two huge oil Stains and forgot one of the base feet. The base then had to be sliced open to connect the final foot.

It's a very comfortable mattress, gives support but not too hard, I'm a side sleeper so perfect for me. The only downside is with the base it's on the mattress is very high so if you choose this make sure you go with the right base.

I was having top class of sealy in Hong Kong but I found HK's sealy are total different with UK's. and I found Slumberland 9000 should be the similar quality and comfort, and a slightly below price point as Sealy Hong Kong does.

After moving from an older 800 pocket sprung mattress this is a whole new level, the memory foam is thick enough to mould to you and provide comfort and with the layers of springs you can't feel any movement from the other side.
