The design of this bed to pull out into a king size is a fantastic idea, with much more stability than other trundle designs I have found elsewhere. As other reviews mention there are gaps when two mattresses are on the opened out bed. My bed took 3 months to be delivered (due to shipping issues). Two of us assembled it eventually, but it was extremely difficult to get the rods to line up with the mid-sectional bar, needs an extra hand or two ideally. Two of the parts were also faulty. One part was rusty and one of the rods was not threaded properly so I couldn't screw one of the screws in. But I did contact Dreams and they offered a complete replacement for free along with free construction of the new bed, which was a very generous offer. Overall, this bed is very useful and looks lovely, but you'll need some patience for delivery and construction.

Me and my girlfriend got this bed so we would have more room in our spare room when we don't have guests over. It's given us so much more spare room that we can actually use our second bedroom in our house. When we do have guests over they will sleep well as they are sleeping in the equivalent of a super king size bed when the other bed is assembled. The bed frame itself is of good build quality and assembly took around an hour. It's a bit of a puzzle but once it's all together it works really well. The second mattress is stored underneath the bed frame and putting up the second bed is so easy as the frame pulls out and you just lay the mattress on top. We had to get the mattresses separately as it doesn't come with the mattresses. I would recommend this product as it's good quality and looks really nice.

We bought this bed specifically for our spare room, we did not want a double bed in the room but a bed that opened up into a double when we require the use of a double, we looked around and compared this bed against competitors, and for us this was the best bed out there for what we needed. The bed once we built is very sturdy, the build time and I would advise its a 2 person job and took roughly 45 mins -1 hour to assemble, the instructions were easy to follow and overall for the price we paid very happy, this product for us topped the competitors in build quality and materials. We would recommend the product of you are looking for a day bed which opens up into a double, we have store a single mattress under the bed for when we require and there is plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes.

I bought this for my 2 granddaughters to sleep in when they stay on a sleepover at Gi Gi and Papas they simply love it love it love and they are 3 and 5 years old. The beds are excellent value for money very easy to assemble with simple instructions to follow and the mattresses are proper single mattresses they are very comfortable and i have slept very well on this bed myself. The style of the trellis means the younger child sleeps safely with no worries about falling out and her sister can sleep in her own bed alongside her which is practically, fun and a novelty too. The Day bed is not to big and sits comfortably in this small room and is opulent and classy looking too. It is well finished with lovely features and

We bought this bed for our daughter's 11th birthday and she is delighted with it. It was fairly straightforward to put together and seems sturdy enough. We bought a new mattress 15cm thick, and have put it with her old mattress (10cm thick) together, so she sleeps on both. This way, we don't have to store the extra mattress underneath and she still gets the room to put things. The old mattress was a Euro Single size, 90 x 200, which is a bit longer than the UK single, and it is slightly jammed in but seems to fit OK. Now all she wants is her cousin to be able to come and have a sleepover on the pull out bit.

We bought this bed for our daughter and so that we could use it for guests when needed. The bed once built is very solid, strong and looks like it will last a long time, as well as looking really nice. The only reason for 4 stars are the instructions. 45 minutes is realistic only if youve built the exact bed before, the instructions are not the best and we did have to go back and redo steps a few times due to getting them wrong with unclear diagrams. But once finally done we are very pleased! The pull-out functionality is really easy too.

Bought this while it was on offer. Good value for money. Assembled it myself (2 people required). Took 2.5 hours instead of the recommended 45min! But instructions are quite clear. About the bed itself, it definitely feels good quality and sturdy. Fits nicely into my small bedroom, and does not look cumbersome. Pull out trundle bit is very well thought, it just extends to a double bed on same level. And when only single bed is needed, retracts nicely in. I use the space under the bed to store the other single mattress.

This bed looks really nice in my daughters bedroom. She won't be using the pull out part (not enough space in her room) but this is hidden away out of side, so not a problem. It was relatively straightforward to put together, albeit a bit of a faff having to move the bed around in order to be able to attach the pieces together due to the bedroom being small. Larger rooms will have no such issue. Overall, very happy with the bed. My daughter loves it.

Really nice bed, length as advertised - slightly smaller than other similar products out there which was perfect as our space was less than the standard 2m you tend to find these types beds are. Pulls out nicely into one super king sized bed. A bit fiddly to assemble but the instructions were easy to follow, you might need two of you to assemble just to hold parts in place. Overall really pleased, and amazing customer service from Dreams as always!

I bought this bed to make use of a smaller spare room that previously housed a king size bed and I wasnt disappointed. Simple enough to put together when you get into it, sturdy and looks lovely. I bought two lovely mattresses to sit with the bed too and now I have space in the room to make a potential office/craft area and a lovely day bed to relax on. It has the seal of approval from my cats - which says everything really.

I had previously worried about buying something called a daybed as this implied occasional to me. Which in turn meant not as robust or long lasting. This bed is nothing short of amazing. It really is beautiful. Sturdy. And exceeded expectations. My daughter loves it. The pull out supports another standard mattress making this the perfect addition for when we have her grandma stay over. Great looking. Very practical. Perfect

Ordered this bed for our guest room and this is fabulous! Took an hour for my husband to put it together, came with clear easy instructions and required tools. Perfect for our guest room and also is very comfortable! Will definitely recommend if you are looking for a pullout bed! I didnt want a foldable trundle as I want my room a to clean underneath and this is just perfect!

What is the maximum thickness of mattress that will fit on trundle under frame
Answer: The underbed height is 27cm. The mattress will not be on the trundle as the pull-out feature sits directly beneath the slats. Therefore the mattress will sit directly on the floor. As long as the mattress is less than 27cm in depth, it will fit beneath the frame.

If I buy one standard single and one small single can I pull the trundle out part of the way to fit the small single on? This would make the total width of the bed roughly 5ft 6
Answer: I am sorry but I am unsure on your questions. This bed is only available in a single size. When the trundle is up, it is the same height as the bedframe, so unfortunately the trundle would need to be pulled out completely to be able to set it up.

Hi where do you store the second mattress for the pull out part of the bed when not in use? And also, where is the the pull out frame stored too? Sorry for asking but the picture does not show this
Answer: The pull out frame fits just underneath the main frame to make it discreet, please see the assembly instructions on the product page for a better understanding of this. The mattress can be stored underneath the bed.

I take it the pull out part us integral to bed and you don't need to buy 2 mattresses if you will only ever use as a single bed?
Answer: Good Evening,If you intend to use the trundle as another sleeping area then you will need to purchase an additional single mattress. If you do not, then only one single mattress is required for the main sleeping area.
