Unfortunately the bed was delivered 1 week late but this was mitigated by a 100 refund. Also, the mattress arrived with a couple of small brown stains where holes had formed in the plastic cover, but again this was mitigated with an additional 50 refund by Dreams. The mechanics of the adjustable bed are excellent - the remote and app control are great, the movement is exceptionally quiet and supportive and it is very solid and well manufactured. The upholstered, silver-coloured fabric surround is very smart and pleasing to the eye. You wouldnt know it was a mechanical bed to look at it. The assembly service provided was very thorough, efficient and professional. My only slight disappointment is the rippling of the top section of the memory foam mattress, which doesnt hold its shape as firmly as it could when it has been elevated at the head end. It kind of scrunches up, along with the fitted bed sheet that covers it. Nevertheless, I would wholeheartedly recommend this bed to anyone with mobility issues and my mother is very pleased with the overall experience and comfort.

After sleeping on the new bed, my review is this: at first when I laid down it felt like a cloud in heaven but after a while, it felt like a hug. Not just any kind of hug, not the awkward hug you give your in laws when youre confused if they give kisses on the cheek or just a simple wave, no... this is a hug thatll leave a lasting impression of comfort and security. When I woke up, I was worried I wouldnt notice a difference, I was wrong. I got up for my morning routine and while I was cleaning my teeth, I realised my posture was instantly better. Not a single twinge of pain, not a slightly stiff muscle, I was like jelly, so much so, I was worried I was going to fall into a puddle state if I stood there too long. I woke up relaxed, at ease and like all my troubles had gone away. If there is one thing I can say about this bed, is that this bed feels like therapy, somewhere I can go feeling stressed and wake up having let go of all my problems and troubles.

I bought the Lucia upholstered bed frame after seeing one at my Daughter's home. I love it! I bought the Superking size so when the grandchildren visit and climb in with us on Sunday mornings, there's plenty of room for us all! The drawers provide plenty of storage and the upholstery is wonderful, top quality fabric and no unpleasant defects in the manufacture. I paid extra for the bed to be assembled. This was worth every penny. The delivery guys were superb. I was kept informed regularly with their expected delivery time. I didn't have to ask the guys to cover their shoes, they had indoor covers in their pockets. This is so professional and considerate of the company. These amazing guys assembled the bed within about 20 minutes. They even lifted the heavy mattress that I'd bought from another company, who had refused to take it upstairs for me. My bedroom is gradually looking like my dream room that I've been planning for years.

Ive slept on the bed for a week now and the bed is fine, it does the job. I was slightly annoyed there was a flash sale on the bed 2 weeks after I purchased it and Im still not convinced I had the best deal on it. However, all in all Im content. Caution of note! This bed takes forever to build I know it says 1-2 hours in the instruction but it takes much longer. Theres around 13 screws (If my memory serves me right maybe more ) that you have to screw into fresh wood with no markings/pre-prepared holes, so if youre without a drill this will honestly take forever. So if you had a bad back, or do not have a drill or dont like following furniture assembly instructions you may be better off getting Dreams to do the assembly. Dreams - update your instructions and be a little more honest about timings and equipment requirements! However, I go back to my original point, assembly aside the bed is fine!

Myself and my Fiance spent hours deliberating which bed to go for, we were always going to go with Dreams but the sheer amount of beds on offer left our heads spinning. After 3 visits to various Dreams stores to actually SEE the beds we got ourselves set on the Lucia and quite frankly... WE. ARE. VERY. VERY. VERY. PLEASED! It pulls the room together nicely and was a breeze to assemble (recommended 2 people). It all came together quite seamlessly with minimal stress. Overall the bed feels sturdy and very well manufactured, the texture of the material is much better than we could have envisioned and the two draws underneath are HUGE! we can almost fit our wardrobes worth of clothes under the bed! I would very highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a simplistic and well made bed to compliment the rest of their room. Having bought a Lucia Upholstered Bed Frame a couple of years ago in a 46 for my daughter, I knew how great the quality was...as her bed still looks brand new! After keeping an eye on the website, I managed to get a fantastic deal on a 60...identical to my daughters! I actually didnt order online, as I contacted your Cardiff branch via telephone. The staff were so knowledgable and accommodating and kindly placed the order for me, along with 3 x Lucia Bedside Units (currently on a 3 for 2...result). Originally our headboard arrived damaged (buckled on the one side) and one of our drawer runners on the bedside cabinets were faulty, but Dreams Customer Service were extremely helpful and arranged replacements within a timescale suitable for myself. Thoroughly recommended...excellent quality and customer service throughout!

I needed a new king Size bed after renovating the front bedroom during furlough. I needed something that would make a big modern statement and this bed fits the bill. I went on line and chatted to the helpful assistant who recommended this bed and liked it instantly. Easy to order and delivery only took a couple of weeks which meant that I could get the whole project finished in time before returning to work. It took me a few hours to assemble, but I was working alone, but there were no parts missing and the instructions were clear to follow. I am particularly impressed with the two large drawers which disappear under the main frame. They are very solid and move on their own castors. The overall appearance of the bed is quite stunning with a modern appearance

I bought this bed to go with a separate mattress order from a different company (8 week wait for mattress) however this was delivered promptly to our new house the day of moving in. The delivery guy was amazing - let me explain - we are in the middle of a global pandemic and he was to deliver 5 parcels to outside the house. The 2 hour slot we were given was in the morning and we were not due there until after midday, all fine as the weather had been fantastic for 6 weeks. However it choose to rain that day!!!! He went out of his way to ensure everything was covered and safe. On arrival we had to ensemble the bed, definitely a 2 person job but it is very well made and looks great. Still waiting for the mattress!!! Highly recommend Dreams.

This bed frame is superbly engineered, and made with solid rigid painted steel. When set up there is zero movement and it gives such a different sensation and feel compared to a wooden frame. The area where the mattress lies is not made of slats but solid flat panel areas - no creaky slats here. The adjusting running gear for recline and leg raise is also of a similar top quality. It is quiet too there is no creaking but just a quiet hum noise. It all comes ready made, with just the legs to screw on. And these give a choice of height. There is even a timed light that glows under the bed to assist getting up during the night. The whole thing is really well thought out and put together. I am frankly in awe of this bed frame.

Myself and my partner are so happy that we purchased this bed from dreams. During the covid 19 pandemic we sold our bed and purchased another frame which was due to arrive one day and then our order was cancelled. As a lot of stores / manufacturers were closed we really struggled to find a bed and were left on a mattress on our bedroom floor for over a month - we had just had a baby so this was extremely hard especially with myself not being completely healed after my labour! I bought this bed just over 3 weeks ago and I'm very happy so far. The build went smoothly and we were very impressed with the pre-built slatted base, it saved us lots of faffing about. It is absolutely solid when its put together and was pretty fun to build. I absolutely love the size of the underbed storage drawers, they fit almost twice as much a the king-size version. The material looks great and feels good too. I only have a few issues, the quality of the screws that were provided, finding dead flies splatted into the wooden slats and a lingering odour in the material of the frame. None of my complaints make a difference to the bed and overall we are very happy with it.

We spent a lot of time looking for our new bed frame and we decided on the Lucia, well I decided but I did at least show my husband a picture! I read the reviews, the majority being excellent and decided to order our new super king size frame. We went for the sprung slats too as an upgrade. Delivery was superb, excellent communication from the guys delivery and good instructions if we got stuck when putting it together. I decided Id have a go on my own and put the frame together but I was unable to lift the sprung slat base on my own purely due to the size of the bed. Have to say its perfect, no creaking as some reviews. Fab bed and excellent service.

Our leather-stitched superking delivered days before Christmas and looks great, on some occasions I've had to pry my partner out of bed each morning just because she adores it so much! Sturdy and elegant, it looks professional and the sprung slats for our size were pre-assembled which made the build much easier. After holding off purchasing a new bed we reluctantly purchased online much preferring to see such an item in a store to check quality etc. We neednt have worried, the bed was delivered without fuss and contactless placing the items in our garage as our room wasnt ready for the bed frame. The build was easy make sure you have speaks to work in and although it was a two person job but the fittings slotted and screwed in without difficulty. We hadnt realised the size of the drawers which are really large and felt solid so plenty of storage. Would highly recommend product looks classy and well made.

I purchased this bed on our return from living abroad and it was a great service from start to finish. The order process was easy and once a date was given for delivery there was good communication of the times when the bed would arrive. It turned up exactly on time and the delivery men were helpful giving tips on how to build. Also the delivery was during the Covid situation and masks were worn and social distancing maintained. I bought this back in November due to arrive Christmas Eve but unfortunately 2 days before, they emailed to tell me there was a material issue so my new date was 11th Jan. The bed however I gorgeous and Im so pleased with it. Only issue I have (if you can call it that) is that the colour is quite a bit darker than the online photo. I ordered dark grey and its just a bit darker than I expected. But other than that, so far so good! Really pleased with it. I also purchased the matching Lucia bedside cabinets and those too, are fabulous. Also the delivery men were brilliant!

This has been a huge investment, but its been the best decision weve made...my wife and i have mobility and illness related conditions and this bed has allowed us to be together, but manage our individual needs due to independent bed movements and settings. The movements are all but silent and smooth, with the zero gravity setting exceptional for a good nights sleep!!. The mattresses are fantastic, and meet our needs. Had this dark grey super king Lucia a month now and very pleased with it. Goes well with our bedroom. Drawers are on wheels as opposed to runners so can take more weight. Spacious. We paid for the bed to be assembled. The 2 men were very nice and wore the shoe covers without being asked to. The delivery van was not loaded with our slats but after one or two phone calls they arrived 2 hours later with another Dreams man to finish building the bed. The bed we replaced was from dreams. Bought about 11 years ago. Would definitely recommend Dreams.

I love this bed frame, I would give it 5 stars. Plenty of storage under bed in the two drawers and the sprung slats make all the difference to the frame. I received this king sized bed two weeks ago now, and all i can say is I wish I'd bought it sooner. Its so big and spacious. I bought this a month ago and its the best bed Ive ever had, it was really easy to out together. I had visited the store to see the Lucia bed as had previously seen online. It's true to colour and it has a luxurious feel to the quality. Excellent storage space which consists of 2 drawers on each side of the double bed and very comfortable foot and headrest. I had seen similar style beds before but none had the level of quality that the Lucia bed represents. It certainly has that hotel quality to it and at a very affordable and reasonable price. If you are looking for a new bed then the Lucia ticks all boxes!

Bought this a few weeks back as my partner and I were moving in together and wanted to upgrade the furniture - the bed frame looks great and the storage drawers are spacious with plenty of room for a few sets of sheets/linens. Only downside is assembly - mostly its pretty straightforward, but a) two people definitely makes this much easier and b) the drawers take up about 85% of the assembly time (and it would have been nice if there were fewer screws involved) Overall its a good product for a good price!

I bought this bed a month ago now. We wanted a big bed, the bigger the better and didnt want to skimp because you spend a lot of time in bed if you think about it. Excellent style bed in a range of colours and couple of different materials. Looks the part. It was so simple to put together and so far faultless. We even got accidental cover as we have animals, Im told if a cat scratches it, the warranty covers it. It wasnt even that expensive either as far as beds go so all in all a fantastic purchase!

I purchased the bed a few weeks ago, the in-store staff were very helpful, a distinct contrast to there competitor a few metres down the road. I absolutely love this bed. I looked around at beds for 2 months but kept coming back to this one. It is sturdy, comfy and feels like it will last a long time. I bought this bed a month ago and was surprised how well it transformed the look of our bedroom. The bed is incredibly comfortable and looks very grand. The padding around the head and end of the bed means it's safe for my boys to climb all over. The headboard is nicely padded so it is comfortable to sit up against when reading a book. Not difficult to assemble although the main frame is very heavy to manouevre. The bed itself works well and the lights underneath are very helpful for seeing the way into and out of bed at night. Bought two singles which is effectively Super King size when the beds are positioned side by side. This allows idependent adjustment of the beds while still having a double bed (with two mattresses). So far so good and hoping for many years of reliable service.

We brought this for my mother who has a few mobility issues. She didnt want a bed that looked like it belonged in a hospital. The soft footer is perfect for her the use as a steady when walking around the bed and unlike the metal types of bed frame , she isnt likely to bash her shins on it either! To be honest I am rather jealous and would love this in my room. Would be great for propping yourself up to watch tv, read or work on your laptop.

Great quality bed frame! Recently just purchased a new mattress, also from dreams, and got this new frame as well. We ordered this bed before we moved into our new house as we liked the look of it and we couldn't be happier. The delivery people followed all the current guidelines and expertly assembled the bed for us. The upholstered headboard is very comfortable and there is some space at the bottom of the bed to store extra sheets in the drawers underneath. This product is excellent. It is easy to assemble with the manual and takes very little time. It is absolutely safe to do on your own or with someone else. It is firm and sturdy which proves the excellent quality of this. It looks very stylish and has neutral shades and it can match any colour of furniture. I purchased this bed a few weeks ago. I have had no issues with actual purchase, delivery and assembly. It is the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Great service. Helpful staff. Arrived on the day specified. It's a great quality bed frame, looks amazing! If your building it yourself make sure there's 2 of you. On more note...we also purchased the bed frame insurance. Cover is for 8 years. It's worth having as it covers so much and it's well priced. Plus if your bed ever develops an unrepairable fault they give you your cost of your bed frame towards a new frame.

This product is extremely expensive looking. So easy to assemble took my husband less than 2 hours to assemble himself. The longest part was the draws. I bought this bed about a month ago and it was exactly like the pictures. It was fairly simple to put together between the two of us, with the only hiccup being a pack of missing fixtures to put the drawers together! Fits snuggly in my room, taking up almost half but it is a small room. Not difficult to assemble by yourself, but the instructions could do with an update, there is no pack C or D and sometimes the instructions were unclear. I have given it 3 stars cause the product is not what I thought it to be, it's beautiful frame however not sturdy. This delivered about 3wks ago and I am not happy, it keeps moving never stays as I don't have a rugged floor, 2) it's very noisy, as soon as I hit the bed the slabs keeps making noise and lastly the 2 drawers don't stay still... for the price you would expect a more sturdy product

We are very impressed with our new super king size bed, the sleigh bed design is a great centre piece in the bedroom, the colour grey is fantastic to match the decor in the room. The only negative I have is that the slats comes with only a single leg as a centre piece which seems odd. However, it's holding the weight of 2 adults. The drawers under it are great as they aren't on runners and are huge additional storage options. You may want to measure your mattress against the flick on the end of the bed as a deep mattress will sit higher than it.

Easy to build have done it on my own, alan keys are provided for all parts, wheels on the drawers a bit of a pain to put on cause it takes probably longer than the bed, suggest to use a power drill for the drawers and wheels, also make sure the legs on the metal frame are fully adjusted before you put in on the bed frame.

You can press your remote to help you sit up until you feel comfortable enough to get out of bed You can raise your legs and back to a position that suits yourself. Only slight thing i would change is to give the drawers tracks as they can be kicked and go further under the bed accidentally. What is the difference between solid and sprung slats? Which are the strongest?

Answer: The length dimension displayed on the site indicates the total length of the bed - this includes the head end and foot end. The sleeping area is smaller than the total length as this is the area where the mattress lays. If you have ordered a mattress measuring 190cm in length, this will be suitable to fit a double Lucia.
