Running my hand across the upholstery, it felt smooth and tidy, but the lighter fabric options will show marks quicker if you've got kids or pets climbing on and off. The frame is controlled via the Napp by Dreams app or wireless remote (included) and has a weight limit of 355kg / 55 stone (including weight of mattress). I did find the app a bit more fiddly than just using the remote, so I'd personally stick with the handset day to day. Also worth being aware, adjustable bases like this can add a bit of motor noise when you're changing position, and if you're a light sleeper sharing the bed you will notice the movement more than you would on a standard divan.
