Poor lead time on deliveries coming in at around 7 weeks at time of review, quite a long time to wait for a headboard.

Simple in design, we've got the Luxury Hatton Headboard, a moderate affair that is pleasant on the eyes without drawing too much attention. The Luxury Hatton Headboard comes in all standard sizes and paired with a variety of neutral colours that will not offend nor stand out too much against traditional or modern decor alike.

The Luxury Hatton Headboard features a durable fabric that should stand the test of time, paired with a comfortable foam inner shell that is comfortable to rest your head against, however much of the headboards strength is provided from the solid pine frame which is of a furniture grade which has historically been proven to work well.

Owners mostly like the Hatton for its looks. The plain design and the colours come up again and again in the reviews, with one owner calling theirs the "Perfect colour for contemporary decor" and another writing "It blends well with our bedroom colour scheme". The padding is praised too ("Comfy to lean against"), and owners who mention the fit generally find it secure, one reporting "no wobble" despite the height. On price, plenty call it good value, though one owner found it "Quite expensive for what it is".

The recurring complaint is noise. A number of reviews describe a crackling or velcro-like sound when you lean on the headboard and then move away, and one owner wrote that it "Wakes my partner up in the middle of the night sometimes". Another said the noise "does die off after a few sleeps", but one who had the headboard replaced found "the second one makes the same noise". A smaller number of owners were unhappy with the finish or the fittings: one found it "lumpy and uneven" and returned it for a refund, and another said theirs stays "loose despite tightening several times".

I am very happy with this headboard. My mother had previously purchased the same one and the matching divan with 2 drawers in Ash grey. Having looked at similar designs in other retailers I went to Dreams and purchased the same one! I liked the colour as it was neither too dark or too light. I liked the simplicity of the design as it was less likely to trap dust. Compared to other headboards I like that there is extra padding around the frame of the headboard. I chose a non velvet material. I purchased the Hatton headboard and matching double divan base. This replaced my previous but good quality pine bed. It has added style and a touch of luxury to my bedroom which is light grey and white in colour. I would recommend this item!

We bought our mattress, divan bed & headboard from Dreams in St Helens. The service we had from Chris and Ash was fantastic - they were patient, knowledgeable and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure we got the best deal possible on our new bed. When it arrived, the delivery/assembly team were great, couldn't fault them at all! We opted for the full length Dream Team Hatton Headboard in 'mushroom' which matches perfectly with the dulux egyptian cotton paint in our bedroom. It looks luxurious without the huge price tag. We are so happy with it.

We went for a graphite grey colour to go with a new super king size electric bed. We wanted one that is high and goes down to and rests on the floor. Not sure how easy it was to fix because the guys who delivered the bed fitted it. Happy with the subtle styling and the finish.

This headboard is fantastic. It's comfy to sit up against in bed while reading or having a morning cuppa. It's very sturdy with absolutely no rattling around even when the cat walks along the top of it! It also looks great, as it reaches all the way down to the floor.

Almost every seem is not finished off and lots of loose thread sticking out all over. Impossible to miss, is there any quality control on your products This complete bed was an expensive bed but noit worth half of what I paid !!!!!!!

Fits perfectly to the bed. Feels and likes like it's made from real quality materials. The fabric is so soft and plush, and the colour has been chosen well, as I'm sure it will blend well into any colour room.

My partner and I were looking for a new bed. The one we have at the moment is a divan bed with a worn out head board. One day las month I set about changing the bedroom while my partner was out at work as a surprise for her. I set about buying a boudoir style bed spread etc... . To complete the look I needed a new head board to replace the warn out thread bare blue one we had. I saw this one on a spur of the moment visit to dreams and was amazed at the quality and looks of the product. On top of this despite Covid restrictions the staff were friendly and very helpful. this along with the fact that the head board I bought was in the sale despite having nothing wrong with it meant that i completed the look I was going for. Needless to say my partner is very very happy with the out come.

We bought this headboard a month or so ago to match our divan we had already bought from Dreams. They design and colour of the headboard are lovely and it looks beautiful in our room. The biggest disappointment about this though is if you touch/lean against the headboard and then move away it is very noisy and has like a crackling sound where the material is moving back into place! Very annoying in the middle of the night if you touch it! Definitely not ideal with a newborn (the reason we bought the headboard- so I could sit up in the night to feed)

We bought this headboard 3 months ago before moving into a new property. Only moved in a month ago, and it's been terrible. There is a sponge or foam type of material that makes a horrible crackling sound every time you lean on it or even press on it! It's affecting sleep terribly. Very disappointed this kind of product from Dreams - the service has been appalling and we still haven't had this issue sorted which we pursued a while ago. I wouldn't buy this product - looks good, but will affect your sleep significantly. Very annoying sound.

irritatingly noisy!! I bought this headboard a year ago, though I can get used with this problem! And the noisy will disappear however looks like it will never go away. Worst headboard I ever had. Looks beautiful in my room. Chose this headboard from one we'd seen in store but opted for a different colour. We went for the grey. Also glad we chose a headboard that had a full support to the bottom and not just two slats holding it onto the bed. It seems to be more secure with less movement. A little disappointed that it's filled with noisy material so every time you lean on it it makes a crunchy sound, and again when you come away from it, it sounds a little cheap.

TGHis headboard has a great appearance initially but after closer scrutiny it is disappointing and I assume the result of poor quality control at the factory. The corners are finished at different angles and the top is uneven and you can feel nils and padding at different thicknesses. We contacted Dreams immediately and they have agreed to replace but if its the same as the existing it will be returned and we will look for an alternative.

We saw the headboard in store and very quickly decided that it was the one for us. We discussed this and other headboards with the salesman. Once we had chosen the colour we wanted, the order was placed. We were given a delivery date and it was delivered on time. It was relatively simple to fix it to the bed and has certainly made a difference to the bedroom. We feel that it is a well-made and quality product.

It's a good headboard however when you lean on it and move it makes a very loud noise from inside which when your asleep sounds like something is crawling in it which I have now worked out to be the sponge inside sticking to the material. This does die off after a few sleeps and since have had no issues, is a lovely headboard and goes with the bed lovely.

We purchased thus headboard 4 weeks ago to match the divan base purchased at the same time in dark grey. On delivery it was the wrong colour, charcoal not dark grey. We received the replacement yesterday and it looks great. I gave 5stars as the review is about the quality of the product and the wrong colour didn't detract from the quality in any way.

I bought the headboard in Oatmeal to go with the Luxury Ottoman base. It looks great in the bedroom - just enough detail to be understated without being boring. Still nice and high even with a deep mattress (therapur actigel 3200). I booked the delivery and assembly service when I ordered my bed and that worked great - quick and friendly.

The headboard is a bit pricey but definitely worth buying. Especially, if you have plasterboard walls like in all the newer built houses, the headboard will provide extra support and strength to the bed. If you have a solid brick wall like old houses, then the headboard gives a good thermo-insulation. Highly recommended.

This went nicely with the bed and mattress we chose however fitting it should have been easy 2 slits either side screw in knobs to hold it in place, but you had to screw thru the 2slits which if you have big hands it's near impossible should have stuck to the old ways but that's just my beef on this

We bought this headboard, along with a bed, for my 6ft teenage son - if I thought getting him out of bed was difficult before the new headboard, I was wrong! He says it's the best sleep he's ever had and, if you can't find him throughout the day, this is where he will be - relaxed and happy!

The headboard looks amazing, but makes a velcro/static noise when any pressure is applied. The noise is loud enough to wake you up if accidentally bumped during the night. Thought we got a faulty headboard (given all the high reviews), but the second one makes the same noise.

this is a nice good quality headboard which is a nice feature added to our divan. It is full length however and goes down to the floor which is not clear from the webpage description. It will attach to most divan bases with long screws which is fine

The headboard is comfortable when sitting and reading. Looks smart. However disappointed that it rests on floor, so dépité good castors on bed base the headboard means you have to push it, when moving the bed, eg to clean the floor underneath bed.

I like the simple design of it. It really suits my room. The only thing I'm not happy about is the drawers were not fitted properly that it got stuck every time you open it. The divan base is not secure enough with the hooks that came with it.

Very sturdy build. We had to quite badly bend this in 2 different directions at the same time to get it up our staircase. I was convinced the wood frame would snap but it never seemed to get close. Is an excellent addition to the bed

Great headboard that looks very stylish and modern. My only criticism would be how difficult it was to attach and the material will imprint with pressure and then spring back after a delay. Nothing major on both accounts though!

Great bed, very sturdy, guys who assembled it were super quick and efficient. The only issue is the headboard - it makes a weird noise like as if the material is caught on something and it is peeling off. Difficult to describe.

If you lean against the fabric it sticks to the backing material then comes away, making a suction popping sound. It lets itself down doing this as it appears, to me, rather cheap.
