The hazard

The product presents a risk of choking as the zip pull may detach from the zip, creating a small part. If detached, this component could be placed in the mouth by a young child and obstruct the airway.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

From the official product safety notice on GOV.UK, published by the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

What happened

The cots were recalled from end users by The Nursery Store (Online 4 Baby Limited). The notice gives the corrective action as “The product has been recalled from end users by The Nursery Store.”

What to do

Check the model (NP63268 for the 2-in-1, NP63269 for the 3-in-1) and the batch code, 08/2025/O4B8240 or 09/2025/O4B8241. The affected cots were distributed between 7 November 2025 and 13 May 2026. If yours matches, the notice says to stop using it straight away and to register for a refund through The Nursery Store’s product recall notice page, or email [email protected]. The full notice is on GOV.UK.

Why it matters for your bed or cot

A zip pull is small enough to swallow, and in a travel cot it sits at a toddler’s eye level. If a pull comes off, the child in the cot is the one most likely to find it.
